• Stephanie (10/5): Lovely hotel close to everything - The property was lovely, rooms located around a central garden. There is a well stocked kitchen, and lots of spaces to eat or relax. The rooms are very clean, and cleaned daily. The lady at reception is always very ready to help and also very lovely. The location on a quieter street was great as it was very quiet at night and I slept really well. But it’s located only a 10minutes walk from most things. Really enjoyed my stay. The wifi doesn’t always reach into the room very well, and the hot water can be a bit sporadic changing between hot and cold. Very minor issues and wouldn’t stop me from staying here again at all.

• Emily (9/5): We loved our stay here, very peaceful and well equipped property. - Amazing to have our own kitchen with all the facilities you would need, saved us a lot of money not having to eat every meal out. Bed was very large and extremely comfortable. Great shower with hot water and excellent wifi, good enough for streaming with very occasional blips. Far enough out of town to be quiet but easy walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Also hammocks in the garden for relaxing and ramps to the ground floor so no need to carry bags down steps. Nothing. Book it!

Laundry service on site that was very prompt and good price. Filtered water available in the kitchen Staff were not often around, had to be contacted on WhatsApp. Check out is early at 9am but makes sense given the times of tours and ferries. Outdoor area is not as nice as pictured and not somewhere you would want to spend time. Bit of a walk to the main part of town (10 mins) but not too bad

Kitchen was kinda dirty and plates and pans also either broken or dirty, fridge and cupboards were dirty. You couldnt always get hot water from the shower. The garden and yard of the hostel wasn't as inviting and nice than it looked in the pictures. We would have loved to have a night light and a mirror.

I was very upset there was nobody there to help me check in. Then I had to pay Cash, very sudden, and rude surprise; so I paid cash. I asked her to call me a Taxi, and she said no need, I can just pick one up outside. She was unprofessional business perdon. I cannot at all recommend her place to stay.

There were electronic key pads for the main property and the rooms. The room was a lot bigger than anticipated. The room and bathroom were clean. It had a very good shower with hot water. The bed was comfy. We walked to the property from the bus terminal and to the port/ main areas of the town, great location. Fresh, clean water was provided in the kitchen (which we didn't use). n/a

It was clean and the shower was GREAT, very strong water pressure and nice and hot. The courtyard was pleasant and there was a clothesline where I could hang things. The kitchen was nice but I didn't really use it. I felt very safe here.

The staff was friendly and very helpful with everything. Downstairs is a fridge where one can store drinks to cool, a kitchen for common use and a water dispenser to fill up the water bottle. Can highly recommend this accommodation! The internet was rather slow in the room upstairs

• Anabelle (8/5): Very good - - The room was very big. - It was approx 10 mins away from the center, but I was aware of this as I wanted the accommodation to be quiet at night. - The staff were very helpful. - The area was very safe to walk around at night (tbf I never felt unsafe on any of the Galapagos islands). - I had an issue with the hot water of the shower. After the first night, they sent someone to fix it. However, I still couldn't make it work. Then someone came to show me how to use it. However it was either a cold shower or a scalding one. I could not manage to find the balance between the hot and cold water.

There was not always someone available from the staff. We only saw someone with check-in. Otherwise no problem, but keep this in mind for any questions. From room to room not noisy, but from room to outside/ corridor very noisy. Especially with guests leaving early for the ferry/ tours you are woken up early.

The garden and sitting area was laid out beautifully and coffee was free. The room was clean, the shower amazing and the bed comfy with a soft pillow. I will definately stay there again. Highly recommended! The roosters kicked off just before 5.00am, but this is common all over the islands. I'm a light sleeper, so yes, it bothered me slightly

The welcoming was nice but we stayed there for 7 nights and all the days after we barely got a "Buenos dias" or something like that, only when we said it. So the atmosphere good have been nicer. We rented their bikes and after 5 minutes the whole thing literally fell apart. The small gears broke down, got stuck in the wheel and it tore apart. This was in the way up and it was already dangerous! If this would have happened on the way down... It happened all of a sudden and we couldn't do anything about it, really not our fault. We didn't have to pay for the renting. We appreciated that, but maybe that was why they didn't were friendly anymore? We don't know. We do know that the owners of the places where we stayed on Isabela and San Cristobal were really superfriendly.

• Michael (1/5): Out worst stay in galapagos - The main area is quite ok. But thats all the good things i can tell. The room smelled completely wet and the AC looks like it was never cleaned. The bathroom had mold on the walls (see picture) which is not supprising as the room smelled wet. The equipment in the kitchen is old and weared down. The location is far away from the main area and in a area where i dont realy feel verry good to go out at night. 15$ would be an ok price.

Bei den vielen positiven Bewertungen waren wir sehr enttäuscht von der mangelnden Sauberkeit :( Zahnpasta vom Vorgänger am Waschbecken, Haare in der Dusche, schmutziger Boden, sehr verdreckte Küche, etc. Schade. Nettes Personal.

• Jonathan (6/5): Reasonable choice - This is a pleasant place with a nice courtyard and a large kitchen that is fairly well equipped. The rooms are basic but clean, the a/c works well which is important in the hot season. The staff are pleasant enough although not very friendly. Overall it is a reasonable option but somehow lacks warmth.
• Antonio (9/5): Superb - We stayed only one night. The property was clean. The check-in was very easy and also the access to the property. It is about 8-9 minutes walking to the port and the center of the city. Nothing in particular, especially that we stayed only one night.

• Radu (9/5): Nice budget hotel - I wanted a hotel with a nice outdoor place (although I didn't spend as much time as I thought due to heat) and this looked the best at this price point. The place is clean, free water and instant coffee in the kitchen (otherwise the kitchen didn't look like you can do much in it). WiFi was ok but sometimes it would cut. They have Starlink which shouldn't do that (I didn't had these issues using Starlink on ships). The location is a bit of a walk from the downtown, especially in the high-season sun.

• Alice (10/5): Great Value, Great Staff, Great Practical Facilities - Location: In the town for local shops, market and bus stop. Less than 5min walk to the beachfront restaurants and bars. Size of the room was generous and v comfortable. Hammocks and comfortable areas for relaxing as well as everything practical we could have needed: a well stocked kitchen, lockable cupboard in the room, lots of airing space for drying clothes. Good wifi - there is little to no signal on Galapagos and they had a starlink that provided the best wifi we found on the islands. Code-locked front gate meant you could come and go at leisure. Staff were very helpful: helped us to understand the bus to Santa Rosa (every 15mins 8am-10pm) for the El Chato Reserve to save money on taxis and even watched our bags for us the day we checked out so we could enjoy one more beach day before we left. There were bikes available to rent from the owners but we didn't use them. Also recommend ALMAR waterfront restaurant.

I thought payment went through via booking but it did not. Need to pay in cash. Staff was kind of enough to let us check in then go get cash to pay.
