• Anna (10/5): Inte en tråkig minut under hela vistelsen i fantastiska Split! - God och generös frukost, välplanerade menyer. Fantastiskt trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Trevlig restaurang med vackert dukade bord även till frukost. Överallt möttes vi av trevliga människor i intressanta miljöer. Historien, arkitekturen, maten, allt var över förväntan. De höga priserna är ett klart minus.

• Mario (6/5): Sólo una excelente ubicación. - La ubicación, inmejorable. El desayuno. Parece que el hotel está en refacciones y hay muy pocas habitaciones ocupadas. Por lo tanto, el desayuno se ofrece a la carta en el restaurante del hotel, pero no hay forma de pedir algo dulce, tipo tortas o croissant. El día que lo pedí me trajeron un volcán de chocolate con helado. Somos de Argentina y no acostumbramos a desayunar huevos fritos o similares. Nos costó hacerles entender que queríamos pan tostado, y ninguna variedad de frutas, o quesos o fiambres. Por otro lado, la limpieza estuvo bien, pero no hacían o arreglaban la cama. Estuvimos tres noches y siempre al volver encontramos la cama sin hacer. No entendemos por qué.
• Tina (5/5): Paying for location, personally I would head to Trogir much nicer and cheaper - Excellent location, close to ferries, right on main promenade with old walls behind. Room was very small, beds were uncomfortable, we felt we were an inconvenience, as I believe we were only guests and the weather was bad so not busy we could have been given exceptional service.

• Petra (4/5): Split selber ist immer wieder eine Reise wert.sind schon viele male da gewesen. - Die Lage Das Frühstück war nichts für uns .Keine Brötchen oder Brot und man hatte nur die Wahl an Hand einer Frühstückskarte. Ich würde emphelen draussen ausserhalb des Hotels frühstücken zu gehen. Ich will nicht viel zum Frühstück aber dann bitte möchte ich es mir an Hand des Buffet aussuchen. ich habe mir von draussen frische Milch geholt die kalt ist und kein aufgewärmter Milchschaum oder so ähnlich. Also leute geht draussen frühstücken. Das Personal dachte ja sowieso die sind was besonderes .Jung und überheblich das passte jedenfalls nicht zu diesem Hotel. also das Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt hier überhaupt nicht. Nur wegen der Lage ? die Zimmer gehören einfach mal wieder mdernisiert bei der Auslegware angefangen.

Hotelli pyysi toistuvasti perumaan varauksen ja tekemään sen uudestaan suoraan heidän kanssaan alkaen pari viikkoa ennen matkaa. Booking.comin aspa ei osannut auttaa asiassa lukuisista vakuutteluista huolimatta. Asia ratkesi vasta vastaanotossa saavuttuani jossa peruin alkuperäisen varauksen ja respa teki uuden varauksen samaan hintaan. Hotellihuone oli pienempi ja huonommin varusteltu kuin odotin. A la carte menu aamiaisella oli joustamaton. Henkilökunta ei ollut kovin kiinnostunut palvelemaan. Matkatavaroiden säilytys oli avoimessa tilassa ravintolan perällä. Työkaverin huoneessa oli luteita. Hän sai uuden huoneen eri kerroksesta jossa ei kuulema ollut vielä havaittu näitä. Omassa huoneessa tarkkailin tilannetta pari yötä enkä havainnut mitään.

• Tia (5/5): Matig - Uitzicht op zee, erg vriendelijk personeel. De koelkast op de kamer maakte zoveel lawaai dat ik de stekker er uit moest trekken om te kunnen slapen. De wastafel was bijna verstopt. Water bleef lang staan. Het ontbijt is te simpel gezien de prijs. Het restaurant is matig. Op zo n locatie en voor die prijs zou je een betere keuken verwachten.

• Emma (2/5): Bad experience, not recommend - Great location by the Riva. Breakfast was a lot, no healthy options available and asking, for example only fruits seemed to be too complicate. Service was bad (arrogant, rude, slow). Main focus was to serve restaurant customers. Only Betty in reception try to help me when needed. No safety room for suitcases in the lobby. I was traveling for a work (5 nights) and second night I realized there were BED BUGS in my bed cover. I slept lights on. I complained and finally got other room in 2nd floor for last 2 nights. I was told that there is sometimes bed bug problem in 1st floor...Not nice at all. I asked compensation or even an airport transportation but hotel manager just said that no way, we already gave you a new room...The best I can do is to warn you all, don't use this hotel even the great location and view. In this price range you could expect a lot more.

The maid did not even vacuum nor change the ill-fitting sheet. • the sheet did not cover the mattress •⁠ ⁠⁠the outlet was coming out of the wall •⁠ ⁠⁠the carpet was filthy •⁠ ⁠⁠the sewage smell persisted all night •⁠ ⁠⁠the toilet paper holder was off the wall •⁠ ⁠⁠the towel holder broke •⁠ ⁠⁠the sink drained slow •⁠ ⁠⁠we had to have an employee fix the television • the heating/fan/air condioning system wouldn't even turn on. This property is a great location, however the property needs to be sold and undergo a massive renovation. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Better communication pre trip would have been appreciate - The hotel was in a great central location, close to the old town and the port for catching ferries. The view from the sea view rooms was great. The size of the bedrooms were good. The choices at breakfast were great. The reception staff and restaurant staff were really friendly and helpful and did everything they could to sort out any issues. We were a large group booking of 7 rooms. Communication between the management and ourselves could really have been better, there were booking issues that as a result had to be sorted out by the reception staff late at night when we arrived. City view rooms were dark with views of alleyways or just a wall, so be sure to book a sea view. We really missed having a lounge or meeting space as a larger group. You had to be eating or drinking to be able to sit in the restaurant area. There is a back part of the restaurant were luggage is stored where we could have sat, but this is very dark. Breakfast service was pretty slow but the staff where all very friendly. I felt that it was expensive for the standard of accommodation. But then I found the whole of Croatia very expensive. Definitely geared up to the American market. And at least 1/3 more expensive than France, Italy or Spain.

The area was lively and meals could be taken in the open air .The location could hardly have been better and the staff were very helpful both with local advice and when ordering breakfast and dinner they were willing to provide alternatives when asked.Such a friendly atmosphere! Curtains in the bedroom could be black-out, and shutters needed repairing. Carpet very old and needed replacing. Would have been nice to have a kettle and tea and coffee bags.

• Kirsi (8/5): Mahtava vanha kaupunki/rakennuksia ja meren äärellä rentoutumista - Sijainti loistava - meren läheisyydessä rantabulevardilla 😎 Vaihdettuamme hotellihuonetta lisämaksusta saimme upean merinäköalan. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja auttoivat kaikenlaisissa asioissa (mm. hotellin wifi-yhteyden saamisessa oli suuria ongelmia), mutta joillakin englannin kielen taidoissa olisi parantamisen varaa. Aamiainen ei ollut hyvä: valmiista menusta piti valita tietynlaisia aamiaisia ja kaikissa niistä oli tarjolla jotain sellaista, mistä en pitänyt tai voinut syödä. Aamiaiseen kuului 1 kupillinen kahvi, joka ei ollut minulle riittävä, joten lisäkupista jouduin itse maksamaan. Vihanneksi ei annoksiin juurikaan kuulunut (1 kirsikkatomaatti ja muutama rukolasalaatin lehti 🙁). Ns. eurooppalainen buffet -tyyppinen aamiainen paljon parempi ja jossa pystyy itse valitsemaan mitä aamiaisella haluaa syödä. Varaamme huone sijaitsi jossain takapihan alueella maantasalla ja näkymä ikkunasta suorastaan hirvittävä/pelottava: pieni/loukkomainen "takapiha", jossa saattoi kuvitella rottienkin viihtyvän 😨. Saimme vaihdettua lisähintaan merinäköalaan.

• Tara (9/5): FANTASTIC location, EXCELLENT breakfast - This location is FANTASTIC! It is above a restaurant right on the Riva! Upon check in, we were given bottle of wine (Posip) that we were invited to enjoy out on the Riva at the restaurant tables. The server was so kind and helpful. You can walk everywhere from here, including the Diocletian's Palace and the ferry docks. We were also able to ask for a late check out and were able to leave our bags at the restaurant while we waited for our evening ferry. Oh! and the breakfast was delicious! It's an old stone building, so expect some mustiness.
• Phil (4/5): Overpriced and under delivering - Location is great Overpriced. The staff were very slow. I had to chase staff to get served. Needing to take an early ferry I had to wait for staff to open up. Very poor. No coffee or tea in the room. Lack of main power points. Beef burger and chips 19 Euros.
• Mario (6/5): - Vom Hotel aus konnte man all die wichtigen Hot spots erreichen Der Service hat speziell auf die Gäste extrem geachtet. Es war von der Ausstattung her eher altmodisch. Aber die Leute haben das Beste rausgeholt.

• Barry (8/5): - This is a perfectly located hotel on the Riva in Split. We had good breakfasts at the outdoor part of their restaurant. Unfortunately, there were bedbugs in our room but the hotel immediately changed rooms for us and there was no problem in that room. This is a difficult problem both in a hotel and a home and we appreciate their quick response.

• Judy (8/5): - The staff was excellent. They gave us a free bottle of wine when we arrived in our room. The breakfast was à la carte in the morning and it was excellent. It was served warm and quickly, and the service was excellent. The only reason I’m not giving it a five is because The carpet in the room was old and we didn’t like the carpet and there was no dark curtain on the window so it wasn’t dark enough all night. Also the air conditioner ran a little bit loud. And the room was so small. There wasn’t room for two suitcases anywhere. But it is an old hotel but still they could freshen it up a little and put a new curtain up.
• Lynette (3/5): Very stressful 4 days - The room with view over the water. Having to pay Euro 759 on arrival after previously paying the full amount to booking.com two months earlier. We were reimbursed by booking.com after many emails (back and forth) about 3 weeks later. We feel that the problem was the Hotels not booking.com as there explanation on the missing money was never fully explained. With changing exchange rates we ended up out of pocket. Restricted choice on menu for breakfast and a second cup of coffee was an extra charge. Staff more interested in the restaurant and bar client than hotel guests. Very noisy late into the early morning due to the outside restaurant and market traders. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

• Guðmundur (8/5): Love to come again. 🥰 - The walking street restaurants, market and boat harbour in front of the hotel was really beautiful and fun. The bed quilts, sheets/pillows were very hardish and not soft. Very uncomfortable. Took me hours to be able to fall asleep. I will bring my bedspread, quilt and my own pillow next time. Otherwise it was very good and a beautiful hotel. 😊we will be back🥰

• Patrick (6/5): Beste Lage und tolles Zimmer. Hotel etwas unterbesetzt - Wir hatten einen kleinen Balkon auf dem wir uns einen Drink genehmigten. Ausserdem wurde uns eine Flasche Weisswein vom Hotel offeriert. Leider hat das Internet im Zimmer beide Tage nicht funktioniert.
• Jonathan (4/5): - The location of this hotel makes it a perfect venue for a couple of nights in Split. Close to all of the larger and more boutique shops and restaurants. The hotel itself has some drawbacks. They provide two wifi options but neither worked on our laptops or phones. The carpet looks like it hadn't been properly cleaned in some time. The air conditioning system would turn on and off frequently but did not maintain a steady temperature in the room. And it was loud.

• Tim (4/5): A waste of money - Nothing to like it is an old hotel with very expensive small rooms. The wi-fi didn’t work. The room carpets were dirty.The check in and check out was chaotic.

• Ella may (6/5): Good enough for a quick overnight transit stay - Location- along riva promenade. We had to leave at 6:30 am next day and staff packed a sandwich for our breakfast. The room was good size- it had a bedroom and living area. The AC was in the living area only and was not very cold. Had to ask for a fan for the cold air to reach the bedroom area.
• GUILLAUME (5/5): Prix beaucoup trop élevé pour un hôtel vieillot et un personnel un peu « léger ». - Le personnel était gentil mais pas toujours efficace. La climatisation tenait avec du scotch, et elle faisait tellement de bruit qu’on ne pouvait pas la laisser fonctionner ! La télévision avait un décodeur avec 2 télécommandes comme il y a 10 ans et, surtout, elle ne fonctionnait pas. Le frigo faisait tellement de bruit que nous avons dû le débrancher. L’insonorisation de la fenêtre était très moyenne, et celle de la porte de la chambre était inexistante. Pas de rideau occultant pour la fenêtre. État général intérieur de l’hôtel à rénover : il devait être moderne il y a 20 ou 25 ans. La façade est en mauvais état. C’est dommage car il a un bon emplacement. Quant au petit déjeuner, nous avions demandé à le prendre en avant 7:30, heure de notre départ en taxi : l’hôtel a compris que nous voulions des sandwiches à emporter ! Résultat : nous n’avons pas eu le temps d’avoir un vrai petit déjeuner mais juste un café et un morceau de pain. Conclusion : nous avons été déçu car ça ne valait pas les + de 200€ que nous avons payé - d’autant plus que j’ai été choqué de constater que la chambre était affichée à 175€ le soir même ! J’apprécierais d’être remboursé d’une partie du prix.
• Stella (7/5): Prachtige locatie, maar eet niet in het restaurant! - Locatie is prachtig. Je zit midden in het centrum van Split met uitzicht op de baai. Kamer was ruim opgezet en comfortabel. Bedden lagen goed. Kussens zijn wat zachter, maar wij hadden onze eigen kussens meegenomen dus hier geen last van gehad. Ontbijt is echt het slechtste wat je hier in Split erbij kan nemen. Het is een à la carte ontbijtkaart waar je een ontbijtgerecht, een sapje en een warme drank bij mag bestellen. Personeel is in het restaurant niet vriendelijk en je moet 45 minuten wachten op het ontbijt, terwijl het niet druk was. Wij hadden de eerste dag eenmaal de gepocheerde eieren en eenmaal de gebakken eieren besteld. De gepocheerde eieren waren zo door gekookt dat kan je geen gepocheerd ei noemen. Het casino brood was het goedkoopste brood wat je kan hebben en was helemaal zompig. De hollandaise saus die er bij zat smaakte niet zoals het zou moeten. Bij de gebakken eieren zaten nog eierschalen tussen het ei. Dag erna maar yoghurt genomen, hier kon weinig aan verpest worden. Op zo'n mooie locatie verwacht je wel betere kwaliteit. Op Google review stonden voor het restaurant ook alleen maar slechte beoordelingen en dat medewerkers mensen oplichten door extra bedragen op de rekening te zetten. Let hier goed op en ga lekker ergens anders eten. Er zijn veel betere en goedkopere restaurants in de omgeving. Let erop dat als je met auto komt het betaald parkeren is, wat het best wel duur maakt. Omgeving is ook super druk dus je bent lang op zoek naar een plekje voor de auto. Je kan ook niet bij het hotel parkeren dus je moet wel een stukje lopen met je bagage.

• Allan (2/5): - I paid for breakfast when booking. The had advised me that they had accepted my booking. Booked in OK at 8pm. Came down for breakfast on the first morning to then be told that the hotel would NOT supply a breakfast as per the booking, and I would have to pay for it. They also advised that I not the first to denied the breakfast which had been nooked and paid for. SCAM

• claudio (7/5): - la posizione è ottima per chi no ha problemi di deambulazione la poszione è diffcile da raggiungere per chi è disabile . Non si puà arrivare in nessun modo con un veciolo e bisogna camminare almeno 200mt dal parcheggio più vicino con i bagagli
