Everything was nicer than we expected - beautifully done decorating & landscaping, comfy & clean. I really appreciated that they had the comforts of upscale hotels like lots of pillows & a nice pool, but with the added value of easy access to my car & we loved our tiny porch with clotheslines. Their free complimentary items list was extensive & included a fan, yay! Really nice people & peaceful place. Nothing to dislike, very nice place

The door knob was a little loose and didnt feel to secure but Buxton is not a location you have to worry about robberies (in my opinion).. We have stayed here a few times and never had an issue..

• April (6/5): Ok - We was to have a King bed. Had 2 queens. Bed we slept in you rolled to middle. Floors were black. I spilt water and omg the white towel was black when we finished. We was inside, when I booked was to be outside. Decor from 1960 and smelled liked 1960. Staff was great. Smell, mattress and cost way too much for an outdated motel. Poor was not ready and dirty

• Verified traveler (10/5): Beach tradition - An older motel, but in excellent condition, the Cape Pines has large updated rooms paneled in pine. The bed was very comfortable, the furnishings attractive, and the manager even called to make sure everything would be ready when we arrived.
