Dirty cups and stinky dishwasher, tumble dryer full of lint. The hotel is advertised as having daily housekeeping service, however we stayed 4 days and someone came once and made one bed and emptied the kitchen bin, we had to chase up fresh towels, more bin bags and soap etc.

We were fortunate to be in Onslow for the enormous full rising and the Stairway to the Moon Restaurant and Bar Staff were fantastic 10/10 Restaurant menu is good and the food cooked to perfection The price. Unfortunately - there are only two options for accommodation in town. Definitely taking advantage of this. If you have a balcony - be prepared to clean everything down. Everything covered in dust and dirt. ( Its a dusty environment so to be expected. Sofa a bit small and not too comfortable. ( Encouraged us to go for an evening walk - so i guess a good thing)

Peter (9/5): We had a great stay by the beach and the resort was excellent. - Had everything we wanted for a three night stay, very comfortable, good ensuite, washing machine, kitchen facilities, verandah and a view over the sea. For a remote region we could not fault it. Great restaurant too. In such a mining region, the fine red dust coats everything, but it wasn’t a bad problem while we were there.

Val (10/5): - Great little apartment that looked straight out over the water from the kitchen/dining area! It was nice to sit on the balcony in the late afternoon enjoying the view! The apartment was very clean and was basically in 3 sections. As you entered the bathroom with washer & dryer was on your left, the bedroom was in the middle section so you had privacy and the kitchen/dining/ lounge area was at the end. It had both air-con & fans which we liked as sometimes you just want the fan on! Kitchen was lovely and had everything you needed! Bed was comfortable and shower was good!

Jennifer (6/5): Central location, friendly staff. - The location was excellent, right across the road from the jetty. Walking distance to all the local shops and other eateries. The food we had in the hotel was very good. Hearty, tasty meals and staff are all friendly. I requested a ground floor room as we're a senior couple, but we were not afforded this on this occasion, unfortunately. We were placed on the third floor, and this made it quite difficult for us to move our luggage around as we're a senior couple and there are no lifts. It's quite clean accommodation but quite dated and needs a bit of a facelift. There were no flyscreens on our door to the balcony so we couldn't leave our door open when we wanted to. The room was quite dark as well. We probably wouldn't stay here again but it is in a good location.

Grace (8/5): Food needs q bit more care, room great - The room was so good & spacious The food wasn't great, got the scallops and the menu picture shows 4 & we only got 1. The rock lobster was so dry & a bit tough, steak wasn't fried properly it looked like it was boiled.
