• Janine (10/5): Excellent value @pivot hotel - Staff was friendly and helpful, Reuben manager at the restaurant greeted us with a big smile and the golfcart ride back to the hotel was a joyful experience, the driver was very friendly . Breakfast was amazing! The staff made the experience wonderfull nothing excellent stay. We really had a great time. Will definitely book again

Didn't have YouTube and Netflix, I was traveling with kids who would have enjoyed sitting back and consume their favorites. I would have also loved having a gown.

• Pumza (4/5): Unexpected Let Down - The welcome was great. Guy helping us was very friendly. Stolen credit card when we paid using the American system of sliding a card with the bill. If the staff didn't steal the card, then the way it was handled afterwards was suspicious. When we checked in we were told there are cameras throughout the hotel, but when the card disappeared we were refused footage, and no help was even given to quickly cancel the international card. My guests were from several countries and that was their first bad experience of South Africa. I thought as a local I would visit the restaurant often, but after that incident, I will never recommend any of my clients to stay there. And I wouldn't enjoy a meal there.

The food was delicious with huge compliments to the Chefs. The room was so comfortable and clean. It was a good and safe 3min walk into the main montecasino facilities. As a solo traveller you felt safe because you could see the security everywhere in the hotel and around the whole monte area. Nothing. It was AMAZING!

They were also very accommodating to our needs as we were celebrating a birthday. There was a shuttle available to the casino which isn’t really far away but son was in crutches

We had to rearrange rooms to accommodate this request at check-in. First room given to my wife and I was a smoking room - walked into a rancid odour of cigarette smoke. Had to request another change of room on a separate floor from our kids. Was not the best first impression.
