Why add a solid glass window from the room to bathroom. When the bathroom light is on you have no privacy. Keep the wall solid. Other than that it is an enjoyable place too. Transportation to and from the airport is great.
- Peter (4/5): - The check in process was very poor. Staff very slow and not attentive. There was a large convention and they simply couldn’t cope with it. Took a long time to check in. The line up was very long. The hotel is very convenient for the airport. Completely messed up my evening dinner.

The shuttle bus service is excellent and easy to access, while the hotel itself is in good condition. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and they were happy to offer a late check-out and luggage storage service.

And when you get to your room which looks excellent you find there is no hot water not even luke warm, icy cold in the middle of winter

Dinner Thai chicken curry was poor, not spiced and came with Indian poppadom and pickle tray, not good. Ravioli was drowned in a gloopy mushroom sauce. Breakfast buffet was ok, fairly standard not exceptional in any way. Room beds were comfortable and shower was good. Hotel was cold as was Joburg but there is a heater. Overall ok for a one night stay and airport shuttle is efficient.

- Anandhi (10/5): - Little outdated property but that’s the only problem. Rest all good. convenient location and pleasant staff. Good breakfast. The lady who was making omelettes noticed that I was struggling with vegetarian options and made special food for me. This personal touch was amazing.

The shuttle service to/from the airport is great. On the minus side. Housekeeping service wasn’t great. We were only supplied with one towel. That’s OK and usually easy to fix, but in this instance it took 2 calls to housekeeping and then finally a trip to reception desk to escalate to get the matter addressed Like many other reviews I agree the place looks tired and due for an update. But as a place that usually is targeted single night stays it’s quite fine.

The restaurant has a very good breakfast buffet and the general menu has a good choice. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

- Elizabeth (8/5): Comfortable and convenient - A comfortable overnight stay between flights. We really enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese and the relaxed vibe at the hotel. When I had an unexpected ingredient in a dish I ordered (allergy), the chef very kindly remade it for me without it. It was delicious!

Bit of a cheat due to the false frontage when seen from the hotel window looking out. At least modernise the windows with double glazing as traffic noise very apparent due to old style fitted windows from yester year.

It has a skin of mirror windows and new cladding on a dilapidated vey old hotel. This is only visible from the inside looking out. But food is great, staff very friendly and beds comfortable.

Room was a bit dated but everything worked fine. Can't go anywhere on foot, even back to the airport. Good place for an overnight stay.

- Kevin (8/5): - Very convenient location if in Johannesburg for a short visit or just overnighting. The hotel is a 10 minute shuttle from the airport, which runs every 15 minutes and also is free. The hotel is full service, complimentary breakfast and also has a regular bar and restaurant. The rooms are quiet and very comfortable.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Choose a different hotel next time. - We scheduled two nights separately on a Wednesday night then again on Sunday night for layovers to Victoria Falls and Hoedspruit. The first night, we checked in on Wednesday and were told we had two bookings (two rooms for the two of us). I explained to the manager that we only booked one room and canceled the other months ago. She took the necessary steps to remove the other room from our stay and didn't cost us anything. I told her that we would return on Sunday and please be sure that we wont have the same issue when we return. Well, Sunday came and we checked in with a different person/s at the front desk and had a double room booked again. I explained to them what had happened on Wednesday and was disappointed that we were going through this same issue all over again. Needless to say that they didn't give us a refund for the second room. In addition to the hotel looking tired and somewhat old, we didn't get the proper service or number of towels in our room on Sunday and a few other minor issues.

Had to go to the waiters station to serve myself coffee after sitting there for a while. The shower wall is frosted glass facing the bedroom, which is kind of awkward unless you're with a significant other.

- Ambigay (8/5): Convenient Airport Hotel - Convenient location to the airport. The hotel is somewhat dated but the service is excellent. The restaurant had good food but ran out of desserts. The shuttle is a bit of a walk from the airport terminal but no problems getting to the hotel. The price is highly competitive compared with nearby hotels.

- Gino (8/5): Very handy for JNB airport - We stayed here for one night because our flight was delayed for 13 hours. It is very close to JNB. There was a small reception with drinks and snacks in the lobby and the breakfast is very good. Air conditioner in the room was a tad noisy but overall, very good for a one night stay
