Guest Reviews
Nada a apontar
- Ana Sofia (10/5): - Maravilhoso, a Vista e a tranquilidade do lugar.

- Peter (10/5): - Great location. Very helpful hosts.

- Jose Fernando (9/5): -
- Glenn (10/5): A night away in the Alentejo wine region at a great hotel - Beautiful small charming hotel in the countryside nearby interesting villages in this wine region. Can’t think of anything
Tudo Ok!
- Fernandes (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was amazing. Pedro was the best host we could hope for. He was there when we arrived, gave us a tour of the facilities and was very attentive. The room was really big, the bed was very comfortable and the shower had a lot of pressure which I personally love. Breakfast was amazing, best orange juice I've ever had! One of the rooms had an invasion of ants but it's something that you can expect when you're in the countryside in a room on the ground floor. It was nothing major and didn't impact our stay at all. Everything was truly amazing.
- Zuzarte (8/5): Very good - Pedro is a lovely host.
In the middle of the vineyard Nothing really...the road to the B&B was a bit uneven, but thatvu can expect in vineyard.
- David (9/5): Comfortable rooms in a beautiful vineyard setting - Comfortable rooms in a beautiful vineyard setting. Very calm. Close to Vila Alva, Vila de Frades, Cuba, Vidigueira. Nothing really. It was all great. A hairdryer in the bathroom would probably be the only thing that could make this even better.
- Rainer (10/5): Exceptional - Very amazing place with a very special flair. super quiet in middle of nature between the wine yards. host was so friendly, got surprised with a bottke of his own wine. instantly felt like home.
- Doug (8/5): Very comfortable and Pedro was a fabulous host. - Fabulous host and delicious breakfast. Nothing
- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional - It was very good experience, the property stays inside vineyard. Very special place, quiet, with big room, backyard with a view on vineyard and bottle of house wine. Very friendly owner, that gave a lecture about the process of making wine in roman style.
- Joo Young (10/5): - Pedro who is host was very kind and nice. Hotel condition is a little bit old, but the room size and facility was not bad. I saw a lot of stars in the sky at night. If you want to take a rest in silent, I recommend here.

- Neel (8/5): Very good - The host was an amazing wealth of knowledge and the place was special.
- Deborah (7/5): Good - The host was lovely, nice setting in vineyard. Very comfortable bed. Ants in the room, not cleaned properly.
- Gualter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nir (9/5): Superb - The owners were very nice and informative, and explained us about the wine making process. The locations of the rooms within the vineyards is amazing and quiet. The room was very spacious and the complimentary wine is really aprreciated! Breakfast was great. Room could be cleaner, some of the facilities need an update (drapes, fridge).
Better directions and signs on the road would be helpful.
- Michal (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. Quinta is beautifully located in the Vidigueira vineyard region. Their owners are super nice and friendly. It is also a perfect spot for one day trips in the Alentejo: Evora, Monsaraz, Beja, Serpa, etc. Highly recommend this place!
- Julia (5/5): The musty smell spoiled this orherwise lovely location. - Set an angst a gorgeous vineyard. Helpful staff and nice breakfast. Our room smelled really musty. The sheets on the bed felt damp. I know it was an d building but there was mould on the bathroom walls and ceilings. I think it was just really damp.
- Dean (10/5): - Beautiful pastoral setting. Guest room was comfortable with great bed. Wonderful decor in the breakfast room upstairs, and the food was great. Hosts were very engaging, sharing info on the neighborhood and the Roman wine-making process, which is their award-winning specialty. Nearby winery restaurant Quinta da Quetzal was amazing!
- Rick (9/5): Beautiful quiet accommodations in the centre of a vineyard - The host was incredibly attentive and had a tremendous amount of knowledge that he shared readily with us
- Patricia (9/5): Great Nature experience, Great host! - The location is great, the property is in the middle of a vineyard, and had everything you need- heating, great view, great bed, and we had a bottle of the localy produced wine waiting for us. It's very close to other vineyards and main villages. you can walk in the propoerty freely and pick up fruits for yourself. It was windy and rainy during the night, so the bedroom doors move a little bit too much - it was a bit noisy. Also, the indications to access the property are not very clear - in the night it's not so easy to locate. the hair dryer didn't work, but we informed the owners - i believe they will soon improve these little details"
- Richard (10/5): We simply loved and adored our visit and stay! - Host was amazing, generous and informative! Nothing
- John (10/5): - The property was very nice. Staff was wonderful!!
- caroline (10/5): Exceptional service. - The room was a good size and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We arrived later than we had told the host, but Pedro was waiting for us and appeared within seconds of us getting out of the car. He explained everything and even showed us how to work the shower (which is lovely). The breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and home made preserves, was simple and perfect.
We had a little terrace with two chairs, overlooking the vineyard, where we would watch the sunset and stars. The only thing that could have improved the experience, would have been a small light table to put drinks on.
There was a complementary bottle of water and a bottle of the vineyards wine, which was a lovely touch.
If you want a peaceful stay, this is the place to be. Thank you Pedro.
- Christophe (9/5): Superb - What makes this place so special are the hosts. So welcoming and offering lots of information about the area. Breakfast was superb, with fresh fruit and orange juice. The surroundings are so peaceful, a real place to relax. That we had to leave...
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Fátima (9/5): Superb -
- James (9/5): A delightful place amongst olive groves and vineyards. - A beautiful Quinta, set amongst olive groves and vineyards, with purpose-built accommodation for several pairs of guests. Excellent breakfast, friendly hosts, a quiet rural location and a welcoming bottle of estate-grown Talho wine on arrival. Sao Cucufate, a partly-restored Roman villa, is a short stroll away and well worth a visit, and a walk through the vineyards and grape vines is delightful. The host provided an interesting overview of how Talho (amphora) wine is produced at the estate. The rooms are clean, modern and functional. There are several interesting vineyards and restaurants within a few minutes drive. We’d be happy to return. No downsides here.
- Anthony (8/5): Very good -
- Arend (10/5): Fabulous.. - AWESOME..! Thank you Patricia..Great host, lovely accommodations n/a
- Kathleen (10/5): Passionate hosts - Great location for those with cars or bicycles. Hosts provided local information that was either historically fascinating or super useful. There is a 1,200 year old olive tree on the property, a special orange species in their grove (wonderful orange juice), and we experienced very many facets to their warm welcome in our 2 night stay. This included making a special bean dish for breakfast for a vegan.
- Colette (10/5): - This was an incredible stay in the Alentejo region. We were looking for something close to the Cucufate ruins and this was right next door. In addition the hosts were lovely, accommodating and gracious. We learned about the ancient winemaking techniques using amphora, tasted the wine and really enjoyed the peaceful site on the vineyard. The breakfast featured wonderful touches including preserves made from fruit grown on the property. The rooms were modern, very comfortable and extremely well appointed.
Super indico!
- Mary-Ellen (8/5): - Incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was very good. Host was lovely. Only downside, I arrived late and there is no restaurant on site.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Private vineyard heaven - Great stay! Patricia was very helpful and a wonderful host. Our favorite was watching the sunset over the vineyard from the patio hammocks.
- Tim (10/5): Sanctuary in the vines - This is a beautiful place for quiet, natural beauty and exploring a working vineyard. There are six rooms in the middle of the grapes - each room with it's own hammock. Patricia, the host, is delightful and provides homemade goodies with breakfast. If your idea of night life is watching stars, then this is your place!
- igor (10/5): - SUPER
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfext Stay! - The hotel is absolutely WONDERFUL! If you are looking for some time to calm down and rest, this will be just perfect! Friendly staff, clean and big rooms, delicious breakfast.
