- Barbara (8/5): - Angenehmer Aufenthalt und nettes Personal.

- Ruby (9/5): A lovely stay - A comfy bed, super helpful staff, a wonderful breakfast (biggest omelette I have ever had!) and the seaside location! It’s not the fanciest of hotels but it ticks all the boxes!
- Melville (9/5): - The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel location is stunning and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. I was disappointed that the lift was out of order as a friend, who had booked separately, really struggled with the stairs. Also, whilst the rooms were very comfortable the walls are thin and noise travels in the corridors.
- Steven (10/5): ‘Tis beautiful - Location and price and cleanliness Nothing
- Esme (9/5): Fantastic - Staff really attentive, went out of their way to make it a great stay. They upgraded our rooms and they were really comfortable, clean and had gorgeous views! n/a
- Sarah Louise (10/5): - Wonderful location and amazing staff. Food is fantastic.

- Judi (7/5): View from room is stunning! Breakfast exceptional - Location, staff and breakfast were great! View from room was exceptional! Toilet was hard to flush down with pressured water 🫤

- Stefan (8/5): Tiptop - Toplage….. Als Wanderunterkunft sehr zum empfehlen!
- susan (10/5): Would highly recommend and will definitely go again - Friendly staff, lovely food and very clean Nothing
- Erik (8/5): Prima voor één nachtje - Ideale vertreklocatie voor de Coast to Coast walk Beetje gedateerd
- Rolando (10/5): Fantastic - Just loved the location, the view. Perfectly sized, clean and comfortable rooms. Staff attentive and friendly. Great facilities, includes a lift for the upper floors.
- Bastin (9/5): It was a pleasant stay altogether. - Very friendly front office staff Josef Nothing
- Damian Cornelius (9/5): Great location next to the beach with free parking. - Amazing location & free parking Hotel in general has a slightly shabby feel to it, needs a refurb.

- Kevin (10/5): - Service was excellent, located great. N/A
- Laurie (9/5): Wonderful Staff at Seacote Hotel - The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a great dinner, even though we arrived late. Very lovely people!!
Beautiful view from our room. Perfect location for starting the Coast to Coast hike. We reserved two rooms with two twin beds each, but we're given one with a king and one with a queen. The king mattress really needs an upgrade. No support, very bouncy, and had a button poking through by my feet.

- Bianca (10/5): -
- Terry Ann (9/5): Perfect for the start of the C2C - Lovely staff and excellent food. Perfect for the start of our Coast to Coast walk. Nothing

- Rosemary (6/5): Seacote hotel - Room was big and airy. Balcony and view lovely. Certain staff were unfriendly. Wasn't made aware of where breakfast was, until a cleaner told us to sit in a room (because we had a dog). Wasn't explained how to get breakfast until I waited at reception (longer than i should have, and only because a cleaner shouted her that i was waiting did she speak to me).
Cleaner was helpful. Wait staff helpful.
- Mike (6/5): Great Place, but avoid the Frozen Fish!!! - The room was spacious and the bed was confirtable. It eas a stones throw from the beach that I could see from my room. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was great. When i asked what was the best seller on the menu they told me they had none left . Suprising, as it was quite. So I ask what else was good and settled on the fish. How disappointing was it to be served afrozen fish portion ! And so close to the see.
- Catherine (10/5): -
- Sabine (9/5): Great choice - Very efficient and very friendly check-in! Everything was great. We slept wonderful.
- Phillip (10/5): - Perfect location for the start of the coast to coast. The food portions are fantastic to start a long hike. Very welcoming and would stay again. Nil

- Imogen (3/5): Wouldn’t return and serious H&S concerns - Good location. Friendly welcome on reception. Soft bed linen. Cold and damp room on arrival (improved with turning on the radiators though). Black mould in the shower despite recent redecorating. Zero soundproofing in our room (we could hear people charging up and down the corridor, people in the room above and the wedding disco that went on till midnight plus fighting outside the bar). Fag butts and Macdonald’s wrapping left as rubbish on the patio outside our room (it’d been there a while). Most concerning though was the complete lack of any staff or direction on activation of a fire alarm. Literally no one around to direct us to the meeting point or tell us it was safe to go back in. That’s how people die in fires!
- Zaheer (10/5): -
- Judy (9/5): A good weekend - The staff were very good.
Atmosphere was good.
Evening meal was good. The breakfast wasn’t as expected, the bacon was hard, I didn’t like the sausage but that was my taste.
I expected it to be better as reviews were really good.
- Lisa (9/5): - Lovely hotel in beautiful location. Fantastic room and a great breakfast on both mornings.
- Nicki (8/5): Great place to stay before starting C2C - Great location, comfortable rooms and good food
- colin (10/5): Highly recommend - First class hotel very friendly and rooms were very clean great views from our room in number 401 .Will definitely be back and the food was very good and large portions My room was fantastic room 401 with outstanding view from both windows
- Laura (7/5): Great value for money. - Great location, friendly staff The bed was hard and could feel springs in the mattress.
- Terra (10/5): Very good experience and accomplishment providing information about surrounding area. - Location, professional staff and kind. Austere restaurant
- Terry (7/5): Good value hotel in great loction - friendly staff. Good food. Great location Hotel is a bit tired. Decor Needs a freshen up
- McIntyre (9/5): Coast to Coast - Staff were fantastic, bathroom was immaculate and the overhead shower was to die for. The location was incredible especially for anyone wanting to do the Coast to Coast. Minor bits of damage in the room and the mattress was a little bit flat on one side.
- Linda (9/5): Comfortable hotel - Clean comfortable room.
Very helpful staff.
Food was delicious. Nothing to dislike
- Roberta (10/5): Exceed expectations - The breakfast was excellent also the dinner Nice big sea view room
- David (7/5): -
- Robert (8/5): Beautiful location and looking forward to another visit. - Great location, with excellent views. The room was large and spacious and even though the bed was firm we slept really well. Breakfast was great and in a nice relaxed atmosphere. We also enjoyed the convenience of being able to book and have dinner there too. While the room was above the bar, and some noise did come through, it settled and did not disturb us once we were asleep.
- Roger (9/5): Lovely hotel, nice food & would definable return - Perfect location , particularly if you starting Coast to Coast walk. Nice & clean. Good value for money. Nothing really
- Henrique (7/5): -
- Ewan (10/5): - Great welcome, massive room, terrific food in hotel. Nice area to walk around at seaside. Nothing
- Alex (10/5): We stayed for 3 night . Staff from receptionist to bar and waitress staff were loveky helpful and friendly . Our room w - It was very clean and dog friendly There is nothing I don’t like
- Mark (7/5): Really nice place - Location / staff friendly / heating in the room good / shower good 👍🏻
- cwmills (8/5): -
- Jacqui (9/5): - Comfy room & bed. Nice location. Very friendly staff. Curtain came off the rail over the door.
- Owen (8/5): -
- Gary (8/5): - The location, the room, the view The staff didn't come across as particularly friendly (could have just been a bad week🤷♂️)
- Ian (7/5): Very good as it has been for the past few years - Good and dining area was spacious. Cannot think of any aspects that require improvement.
- William (4/5): Average Stay, Over priced, Would not return. - Not a lot really. Cafe style dining, Pay in advance for food.
Room was cold, one small electric heater with worked intermitantly ! no heating in bathroom. poor lighting.
- Peter Carey (10/5): Great hotel friendly Staff and great food - Great staff great food great location Nothing
- Anne (10/5): A great start to our walking holiday - The location was perfect for starting our Coast to Coast walk. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was very good and reasonably priced. We had a family room which was very large and comfortable. Couldn’t fault it at all
- John (10/5): - Very good All good
- Suzanne (8/5): -
- Peter Carey (9/5): Short stay with work very clean very friendly and great food - Great breakfast very clean and all the staff were fantastic 👍 keep up the great work Nothing
- Frances (8/5): - Super location
Friendly staff
Spotless room
- Pete (9/5): - Love the location, pretty much right on the beach. Bed was a little less giving than I'm used toy, still slept well. Bathroom was awesome though.
- Graham (10/5): -
- Helena (8/5): - Good location to start Coast to Coast It was ok
- Archer (8/5): - The staff couldn't do more for you very polite and very good all around would go back lovely location near the beach The only thing was the first night could sleep for a board banging out side the our room as it was at the time when we had storm Dave but staff was very good and moved us to another nice room which was alot bigger Room
- Nita (6/5): Okay, room was great - Modern room facilities The staff attitude from some team members was pleasant, others were rude.
The entrance to the hotel was consistently blocked by smokers and vapers who did not move voluntarily. It was unpleasant. There is no clear signage for where smokers can go which means other guests have to deal with this.....it is not acceptable.
- Ian (9/5): Very enjoyable stay again - Spacious room , Breakfast and evening meals fabulous
- SAGMAN (8/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): - The staff were super friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The executive room we stayed in had a bay window looking out to the sea and it was just beautiful. The price was very reasonable compared to how much you pay in some hotels.
- paige (10/5): - Loved everything about our stay lovley clean room friendly staff and lovely view from our bedroom window. Loved everything.
- Akhila (10/5): -
- Julia (8/5): Very basic overpriced hotel but location was perfect, assume that’s how they can charge the price. - Location was perfect! Very basic overpriced hotel.
- Victoria (8/5): Lovely stay - Breakfast food and service for the four of us was excellent. Great selection and fast friendly service. In our first room, Room 402, the heater didn’t work all night and it was very cold. We were pleased when the manager suggested changing to Room 403 where the heater was working. We then had a good nights sleep.
- Darren (10/5): Very pleasant - Excellent food, great location, friendly staff All good
- Samuel (9/5): -
- Russ P (9/5): -
- Helen (8/5): - Almost everything Sky light window in bedroom with no blind
- Angela (10/5): Lovely Stay,Strongly Recommend - Seacote was the start point of our Coast to Coast Walk.Staff at the Hotel have been so helpful answering queries and accommodating requests from the point of booking . We received a warm ,friendly welcome and were directed to our comfortable and immaculately clean room..Dinner was delicious in the restaurant with a good choice on the menu, good value and generous portions.
We had a lovely breakfast the following morning ( I strongly recommend the omelette, although it is huge 😀) We had prebooked a packed lunch and that was ready and waiting for us to get an early start for our walk. There was a slight issue with the labelling of our luggage for the luggage transfer company but Seacote staff dealt with it for us and our bags were collected as arranged (Thankyou) The Hotel was quiet so we got a good nights sleep before our early start and it’s perfectly positioned at the start point of the Coast to Coast Walk.
- Wayne (10/5): -
- Joanne (8/5): Lovely clean hotel friendly staff . - Clean friendly staff The only thing was the information sheet with regards to times for the evening meal which was incorrect when we stayed but otherwise all good .
- Althea (6/5): - The meals were really nice The room was large but not really comfortable
- S (4/5): Disappointing stay, bed uncomfortable, noise from hotel and fan was awful - Location.
The shower. The bed was uncomfortable, felt the springs.
There was a constant humming, electrical noise all night, which disturbed our sleep.
The fan in the bathroom was excessively noisy.
There was no heating on in our room when we arrived, so it was freezing, and took ages to warm up, although we were given a heater when we complained.
Even though it looked like they had renovated the room, there was mould on the bathroom ceiling.
Had to pay an extra £10 for our dog to stay, this should be made clear in the hotel listing.

- Eland (5/5): We enjoyed our stay and the hotel is in a lovely location. When the sun shines it is glorious - catering was excellent During a stormy night our window 'howled' because it had gaps in it. This also made the room cold on occasions. Our room also had very little hanging space both in the room and the bathroom
- Nicola (10/5): -
- Terrie-anne (8/5): - Meals were amazing
Reception staff very helpful Unfortunately unaware of works taking place within Hotel before booking. Also fire alarm set off during the works due to fire alarm to close to shower apparently at 6am
- Ellis (10/5): Absolutely wonderful 💯 - Beautiful hotel
Lovely dining
Friendly atmosphere
On the beach ⛱️ N/A
- Margot (9/5): Will visit again - Large room very comfortable bath and shower big plus location excellent A little cold in the room but was cold outside there were extra blankets

- Tammy (9/5): Exactly what we wanted, great location, views. Staff were fab. - All the staff were very friendly and helpful. You were made to feel welcome and nothing was a bother. We had our dog, Dave with us so had a pet friendly room. The room was clean and views gorgeous. Tea and coffee restocked.
Got the bus to Whitehaven and even bus driver was friendly and helpful Only thing was the extractor fan in bathroom, made a horrible sound for a few seconds on and off, not a big deal though.
