- Mukesh (2/5): - The DESK staff was friendly although I don't know why I GOT OVERCHARGED! When requesting the quote from booking.com, one of the filters was free Wifi and while this property ONLY provides free Wifi if you are a member of IHG (which I happened to be) but it is dishonest of the owners to "project" it as a free Wifi zone when clearly there are restrictions/conditions necessary to qualify for Free Wifi. Furthermore, the Hotel room doesn't offer Coffee facilities in the Room which was annoying to say the least. Very inconvenient to have to go to the Lobby area to use their Coffee machine. At a room rate of $149.00/night I would at least expect that facility in the room. Last, but by no mean least, they OVERCHARGED me for the room even though my reservation through Booking.Com had a confirmed price of $156.45 including Taxes. They overcharged me by approx. $15.00 for no apparent reason and didn't even have the courtesy to send me a Confirmation email explaining what the additional charge was for. Had I not checked my CC bill, I would've been stuck with it. I disputed the charge with citibank and we will see what the outcome is. I will definitely think TWICE before I book an IHG property in the FUTURE. PLEASE CHECH YOUR CC Statement if you use this PROPERTY!!

The front desk employee was super friendly and helpful. Really, every worker I encountered was nice. The facilities were extremely clean and the decor was so cute. The room was very spacious and the bed was a nice firmness for me. The breakfast is very good. Oh! And they give freshbaked cookies! The only thing I didnt like was that I didn't book a longer stay.

- J2257IItristanh (10/5): The best breakfast hands down! - I travel a lot with my company so I travel all over the United States and stay at a lot of hotels. The one thing that sticks out the most is the breakfast they serve at this hotel. It’s the best I’ve had during my trips and places to stay. I’m a truck driver for Frito lay and when I travel this way I always stay here. Friendly staff and clean rooms and they take CLC lodging card, you can bobtail here or if you get here early enough you can back in with a trailer. Just don’t block the entry way. Quite peaceful area easy access, clean rooms, and a hearty breakfast with Cajun love from Lillie Tzuanos.. it was nice to meet her this morning and tell her about why I choose to stay here. Loved hearing that Cajun accent she has. To all my fellow drivers, HIE in Slidell LA is the place to stay!

- Happiness07515212321 (10/5): Clean, friendly hotel with a good breakfast & easy access to Interstate 10!! - The front desk attendant on 10/3, Michelle, was SO HELPFUL!!! Booking.com had us booked for 10/3 but Holiday Inn Express did not have us booked then, but on 10/4! That was disappointing, but Michelle was SO patient & helpful!! She was very patient and was able to give us a room. Michelle went above & beyond! PLUS she was nearing the end of her shift but continued to help us regardless!! The breakfast ladies, Frankie & Ms. Lyna were very friendly & helpful too! They kept the breakfast area clean & stocked!! The potatoes & peppers were delicious! We don’t eat pork, so we appreciated the turkey sausage!! Also, the biscuits were so delicious!! You have great employees & they deserve raises!!
