Paul Bloemen (9/5): dicht bij luchthaven en midden in drukte, maar toch eiland van rust. - fantastisch zwembad, mega ontbijt en zeer goed restaurant. Fijne kamers, maar helaas hadden wij tuinzuide/ zwembadzijde geboekt en kregen kamers aan de achterkant met zicht op dak. Gezien de prachtige kamers aan de binnenkant viel dit tegen, geprobeerd op te lossen, maar niets was mogelijk. Beetje een domper aangezien het inchecken en hierover communiceren wel lang duurde en we maar twee dagen hadden op deze locatie. Ook geen goed antwoord gekregen na communicatie. Al met al, super hotel, maar wel erg groot en niet persoonlijk. Service en voorzieningen niets op aan te merken, gevoel als gast te krijgen wat ik hed geboekt niet geregeld. zie bovenstaande: geboekte kamers voor ons gevoel niet gekregen.
Bruce (7/5): Great BUT - The breakfast were fantastic. Best I've ever had Pool noise - There was a constant background plant humming noise at the deluxe pool area that did our heads in. Management acknowledged the noise but blamed it on construction from next door which it wasn't. It was most likely their own complex chiller on the roof top. It was running 24/7 and meant you needed ear buds and music at the pool. I downloaded a meter and it was consistently 63db average which is way above an acceptable luxury hotel pool environment recognised level of mid 40db. Management's only fix for this was to offer us a late checkout on the last day! Unacceptable and disappointing when everything else at the hotel was fantastic

The arrivals lounge with food tea and coffee etc. The staff were exceptional. The little treats we received each evening. The breakfast was so good it took a few mornings to try everything. Georgina (10/5): Excellent - There is a good choice of breakfast options at Kunyit and Sands. There are continental breakfast options along with traditional indonesian breakfast and other nations, catering to all palates, which is amazing. The staff are so warm, helpful, polite and greet you with a smile on every occasion, no matter where they are located. I love the beautiful architecture, range of amenities on site and easy access to the high street. It is very secure, with 24/7 security. Honestly, this is a very beautiful resort and I would definitely recommend it. As this is a beach resort, we came for the resort’s beach, unfortunately, the government is doing a project on the beach, which was closed off and we had to find another beach. It would have been good for the hotel to tell us this situation in advance and recommend alternative tourist friendly beaches to visit.

Marcin (6/5): - Hotel ma już odczuwalnego zęba czasu. Znajduje się przy plaży której nie ma, na plaży trwają prace remontowe. Plaża jest zamknięta i będzie w tym sezonie. Dodatkowo trzeba pamiętać że odpływ jest ok 18 i dopiero wtedy pojawia się przestrzeń na plaży obok. Do której trzeba dojść jakieś 20min. Brak plaży, pokoje które są już lekko zużyte.

Mobilierul usor uzat si amplasarea dulapului de haine in baie il face mai greu de folsit daca baia este ocupata. Hotelul nu are. Plaja proprie iar cea din fata lui este momntan in reamenajare si nu poate fi folosita. Piscina e o variante foarte buna !
Widhi (10/5): Memorable, comfortable, strategic and exceptional. - We have stayed in this hotel multiple times which never fails to surpass our expectation. Clean room, great atmosphere, it has everything that you need, exceptional staff from the receptionist, porters, restaurant staff, gardeners and housekeepers with strategic location. The hotel offers extraordinary ranges of breakfast that also caters different type of dietary requirements. Staff were exceptionally friendly, accommodating and go out of their way to provide your request. It made you feel comfortable and always want to come back at the end of our holidays and we will be coming back again soon!!! None

At night the hotel enterance and outside areas were dimly lit. Our room, although well appointed needed some TLC. Check-in & out was not swift.
Julie (10/5): Definitely felt like I was staying at a 5 star resort - The staff were amazing, cleaners and ground staff were happy and friendly. Waitress staff, were at your service in a flash and quite a few made a point to address us by our name, a special quality. Loved the fact the bar fridge and contents were gratis and refilled daily. The room, bed, shower and second floor view was excellent. Any problems were dealt with quickly. The pricing on drinks was steep compared to elsewhere, would have drank in-house more if they were slightly cheaper. And although, not your fault, not being able to get to the beach from the resort was disappointing
Peter (8/5): Avanyatastic Kuta - The Anvaya Beach Resort is in a great location in Kuta, within walking distance to great shopping and restaurants, also Waterbom Park. The resort is meticulously maintained and the breakfast buffet is extensive. The staff are so helpful and cannot do enough for you. Can't wait for our next visit. Everything was perfect. A buffet dinner selection would be a great option.

Katherine (10/5): Lagoon luxury with a side of cocktails! - The resort is absolutely beautiful — the lagoon pool access rooms are a standout and made the whole stay feel extra special. I loved being able to step straight into the pool and rotate between lounging, reading and cocktails. The grounds are lush and really well maintained, and the whole place has that relaxed-but-luxe Bali vibe. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety, and the staff were consistently warm, friendly and helpful without being over the top. Great location too — close to everything but still feels like a bit of an escape. Would have preferred some more snacky food options poolside

At this moment there is construction on the beach to restore sand, I would advise hotel to sort some kind of agreement with another hotel where beach hasn't been affected . Everything! John (7/5): Beautiful hotel but let down by the service at reception - THE HOTEL Firstly, I would like to comment on how stunning the hotel is, it is a real diamond in the rough. From the lush greenery all around the pools to the super clean facilities, I cannot fault the presentation of the hotel at all. They pride themselves on the aesthetics of the grounds and rightly so, it really is beautiful and relaxing hotel to stay in. We travelled as a family of 3 (2 adults and a 7-year-old). We booked a lagoon access room – I would recommend this room to anybody staying here. Not only was it great to have a quieter pool to relax in and cool down in at any time but it was also great to be able to sit on our porch with our feet in the lagoon watching the squirrels and birds feed on the vegetation surrounding us. The room itself was a decent size, and the extra-large double bed was comfy and big enough for us all to share comfortably and the daily refill of the snacks and drinks in the mini-bar were well appreciated. The hotel provides some well-considered free activities for guests every day and we would like to say a big thank you to Yogi who taught our son how to weave hats and bags from leaves and how to make towel animals. We also enjoyed making use of the free bicycles that that the hotel has for all guests. THE RESTAURANTS The breakfast buffet was fantastic and had so many options from all over the world, there was something for everyone here. Our only criticism would be the length of time it takes to get a coffee – some days we waited 20 minutes for a coffee and had to ask 3 times. We ate lunch in the air-conditioned Sands restaurant or round the pool most days (both have the same menu). Everything we ate for lunch was tasty and reasonably priced. A special mention to our server Ghandi who was always a pleasure to talk to and made sure we had everything we needed. The pool bar has happy hour(s) from 12-9pm each day! 2-4-1 on all cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks and beers. This was great! THE SERVICE This is the only area where we felt let down and specifically the service from reception rather than rest of the hotel staff. Issue 1 - Upon arrival we were told that breakfast wasn’t included for our son. Despite all of our booking confirmations clearly stating that we have booked and paid for 3 people the hotel insisted that we had to pay another 150,000 IDR per day for our son to eat breakfast. Issue 2 – Whilst the extra-large double bed was big enough for the 3 of us it only had 4 pillows, and we needed an extra pillow. We requested an extra pillow from reception but were told that it was not possible. We could have paid 500,000 IDR per night for an extra bed in the room, but we were told that we cannot have an extra pillow. This was really surprising as I have never stayed in a hotel that refuses to provide an extra pillow. Issue 3 – A couple of days after arriving our son started suffering was a pain in his ear. We asked reception if there was a medic at the hotel that could give us some advice – we were told that whilst there was no hotel medic they could call a doctor out for a charge of 600,000 IDR. We decided to wait and see if the pain clears up. A couple of days later our son’s ear was still painful so we spoke to reception to ask for a doctor to be called out – this time the receptionist said they could call at doctor at a cost of 500,000 IDR or we could see the hotel nurse! This was really disappointing for us as we could have seen the hotel nurse 2 days earlier if the first receptions hadn’t of told us that no such nurse exists, and the cost of a doctor seems depends on who is sitting at reception at the time of asking. The nurse, however, was really helpful and prescribed the right thing for our son’s ear.

Ian (7/5): A nice stay - House keeping was great, our villa 3153 was cleaned to a high standard daily. Grounds were immaculate and a credit to the staff. Great selection at breakfast. Drink prices are good. The menu has changed since our last stay and not for the better. Lots of fried food and sushi removed since our last stay. The pool bar opens at 11am but food isn't available until 12pm. Even a light meal or snack food to go with the serving of alcoholic drinks would be a good idea. Seeing staff on phones constantly, I know they use WhatsApp for contact but surely not all the time.
pipc2021 (10/5): Tranquil Engaging and Attentive - The Amvaya has a tranquil tropical Balinese feel to it. Very relaxing and made extra special by the beautiful staff I encountered. Alex was most engaging and attentive and made me feel very welcome as did all the other staff I had the privilege of dealing with.

Highly recommended. - Family of four adults, stayed four nights in the two-bedroom Residence. Spacious, well-equipped, and perfect for our group. Staff were exceptional — genuinely friendly and helpful. The pool was fantastic with a great ocean view. Heads up: the beach in front of the resort was closed for construction during our visit, so no direct beach access. The pool made up for it, but worth knowing before you book.

f03e18c1adfe7362a8f0c1d89c25a272 (10/5): Our stay at Anvaya was peaceful and relaxing nestled in beautifully maintained gardens. - Sands breakfast buffet was outstanding in variety, quality and taste. Fruit was fresh and plentiful and coffee served at the table by the very attentive wait staff was perfect. Plenty of seating in The Sands with a lovely ambience. Room was clean and spacious with plenty of toiletries on hand. Balcony view was stunning. On check-in I think we were upgraded free of charge. Grounds are beautifully maintained. Pool was lovely and clean and I enjoyed using it. Plenty of lounge seats available and staff were happy to provide pool towels and take them from you when you finished. Safe location with security on duty at the beach front entrance in the evenings Construction maintenance was going on out the front on the beach which spoilt the view and photographing the amazing sunset. This is a good thing though as it was all part of the government's plan to replace the sand, lost due to erosion and they are cleaning up the beach and waterfront which erosion and over-tourism has damaged over the years.

A total sanctuary, you’d never know how busy the street is outside. Rooms are beautiful, quiet and comfortable. The only thing is that the beach itself is non existent and inaccessible - but that is not the Anvaya’s fault.

We booked a smaller room so felt the tight, the soap dispenser was tiny and not a convenient size, asking for an extra towel seemed to create an issue, we stayed in a room with 3 and only 2 towels were provided. Not sure these issues are related to previous issues with theft.

From the moment you arrive you are welcomed and treated like family. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and I would like to give special mention to Shandy, Ratna and Dayu who made my stay so much more memorable. The greatest surprise was the upgraded room I was offered which again was a fantastic gesture 🙏

72faiths (8/5): First trip to Bali - Loved this hotel. Close to airport. We had a deluxe king room which was unfortunately, a lot smaller than expected but as we did a lot of trips wasn't a huge problem. Breakfast was great. Lots of choice. Beach was a huge let down but as they are currently doing work on it, but will probably be much nicer in the next few months. Unfortunately, there was a lot of Indian men at the hotel for a conference which wouldn't usually be a problem but they were very noisy and rude. They tried to pinch our loungers by the pool (whilst we were in the pool) and had our personal belongings on said loungers! They were noisier than the children!!! The hotel also let these men bring back prostitutes, (WE saw this first hand) which we think was a bit of a let down considering it's a family hotel.
