I love this place, it’s a hidden gem right in the hotspot of Boracay, and so close to the beach, four lovely and sweet woman is running this place together with two male security guards/maintenance. Me and my family have been staying in Villa Sunset for many years and a dozen of times. I have always left Villa Sunset with a determination of coming back as soon as possible. I just love it there. I read a comment from an older French couple and was shocked, This is not an accurate and truthful Comment made, followed by low rating, it should be against the law to attempt to ruin somebody’s business. Villa sunset is a nice quiet lovely place and I can only give it my highest recommendation and a great thanks to the wonderful staff. During my time in Villa Sunset I have met a lot of different nationalities and made lots of new friends. This is the place to meet new friends, relaxed and family atmosphere;-) Nothing

Well equipped rooms. Good wifi, Netflix. They provided every day clean beach towels. Mosquitos, I think they were coming also from the bathroom.

• Jean-Louis (3/5): fuyez cet hôtel, si vs recherchez le calme , ns avons dormi 2 nuits sur 18 trop de trafic sexuel - la grande plage et les restaurants , les festivités et les loisirs le bruit toute la nuit a l hôtel, des femmes rentraient de 11h du soir a 6h du mat, on entendait le portail s'ouvrir, les talons et les filles qui riaient ,elles rentraient dans une chambre ou se trouvaient 2 hommes, le Vigil laissait passer tout se trafic de sexe, le vendredi 11 décembre ns avons ENFIN décidé de le dire a la directrice qui paraissait étonnée mais qui apparemment était au courant ,le lendemain 12h les hommes partaient , pour ns ct trop tard, les vacances se terminaient , nous sommes rentrés déçus, dépités et fatigués , le chemin pour aller a la plage est sale et innondé , il y a beaucoup de motos qui circulent , du bruit et des odeurs de toilette , trop cher pour ses désagrément qui devraient être dénoncés

Il y avait une mauvaise odeur dans notre logement du rdc. Les climatiseurs sont vieux et très bruyants, c'est compliqué de dormir. Le logement n'est pas agréable, très froid, et avec un vis à vis trop important : obligé d'avoir les rideaux fermés en permanence.

The pool perfect place to relax and unwind. The villa itself was cozy, stylish, and fully equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. One of the best parts was the location—just a short walk to the sea, as well as nearby restaurants and D’malls. It was so convenient to explore and enjoy local dining and shopping. We were surprised that the hotel is so well built and maintained - good sound isolation, everything is working - hot water, drain, toilet, AC, windows etc. Stuff is always ready to help. Always clean towels for the beach and pool area. Recommended this hotel for everyone who wants comfort, clean surroundings, supportive stuff, and quiet nights. Everything went great, but on some mornings, we were woken up by staff working on the property, sometimes very close to our apartment. However, this was a minor issue compared to the drawbacks we experienced in other accommodations.

• Laura (9/5): Great stay and value for money - The room was very spacious and clean. Great water pressure in the shower. Staff was very kind and always smiling. They offer free towels to borrow for the pool and the beach. Location is perfect to reach station 3 and 2 in just a couple of minutes walking. Close to restaurants, mini markets and cafes. Really great value for money! The road from which you enter the Villa is a smaller one, not paved, which tends to have a lot of big puddles if it rains. Yet, we didn't have any issue using it but it may be a problem if you have reduced mobility. Trycicles do use it and can easily bring you to the very entrance.

The street in front of the hotel is not good (You need to step on some stones to not get dirty because of the mud). The pool is very short and small(good only for kids). Wifi was very bad, it depends if the hotel is full or not.

Pool area was lovely and staff were brilliant - we had a hot water issue which they resolved very quickly. Also had fast and reliable WiFi. Nothing.

We made reception aware, but they didn't reimburse. - Getting the hot water to work was a struggled, we kept having to reset the box and wait a long time.

Not too crowded compared to other resorts. Wi-Fi. It’s not consistent. We tried using the Netflix and Youtube in the smart TV but the movies are loading too long due to unstable connection. Good thing we have our own data to stay connected. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

• Nikolay (9/5): Superb - The place is located on a strategic place 2 minutes walk to/from White Beach, Station 2. The staff is friendly and very helpful, they responded to every request that we made. The pool is small but the kids had good fun playing in the water. It is clean and very quiet which is our main requirement when we rent a place. The small kitchen makes the family life easier, giving opportunity to prepare meal instead of going out every time. The alley to the beach and to the main road is awful after rain. It is muddy with lots of potholes full of muddy water. The kitchen can provide at least more utensils, and dishwashing stuff.

The dining plates and utensils complete and the cooking wares is also complete. Late check in. We where told that the room wasn't prepared yet as it was recently been used. I have to follow up as it was already past 2pm and we were tired from the trip. The attic aircon is not working but they have replaced it upon calling their attention.The bedsheets looks old and untidy in the attic. The powdered nestea lemon juice is quite expensive at Php 55 per glass, i ordered two as my mom is quite thirsty so that makes it php 110 for a 20g nestea diluted in plain cold water We were not offered towels when going outside while some foreign guest have one, or maybe it was just my thinking. Towels and beddings were not replenish on the whole 4d3n stay. The safe was broken when we got there. The alley going to the beach needs to be fix. One stove burner is malfunctioning. There is no collection of trash/litter/garbage on the whole length of our stay. The villa wifi is a total mess. They said that they will fix it but until on the last second of our stay we were deprived of its amenity. I have paid the accomodations early and in full 3 months before the due date. If you have extra budget, you may want to consider other accomodations.

• Anonymous (10/5): WE ARE HOME AWAY FROM HOME - Everything. The location is great since it’s just a minute or two walk to the beach. The Villa itself is beautiful. The room is nice, very comfortable, all our needs are there. We stayed in the 2nd floor, the balcony view is great. We can cook so it helped us lessen our food expenses rather than eating outside all the time. It’s rainy season during our trip so it was like a staycation kind of vacation, we didn’t get to do water activities on the beach but thanks to Villa Sunset, we still had a lot of fun. Most of our time is in the room and in the pool - and we loved it. The staffs are exceptionally friendly, they greeted us with a smile every time they see us, they make sure we are comfortable and guided from the minute we arrived in the Villa until the minute we depart from the Villa. My family and I enjoyed our stay and we kinda feel sad to leave. We really feel like we are home away from home. Thank you to all the staff. Highly recommended. Nothing.

Smell of urine in the alley way as you walk towards the beach...I know it is out of your control but maybe you can raise this issue in the management section that runs boracay beach.

• Michael (10/5): Great value for money. - Hotel was clean in a good location and friendly staff. I stayed in a room downstairs and a room upstairs. Both were comfortable and clean. The rooms downstairs seem to be a bit bigger. The rooms are a little dated but clean, in a good location and the staff were all great. The road the hotel is on flooded when it rained may be a bit difficult if you have a pram.

• Antonio (10/5): Exceptional - Nerrisa from the front desk was very accommodating and friendly. Prompt service and clean facility.... Attendants are very helpful and compassionate. My kid had a minor burn which she got from outside of the hotel.When they found out, One of them immediately gave my child an ointment to treat her boo boo. That was an extra mile of good customer service. Highly recommend Hotel for families and guests with pets.
