• yumi (8/5): 二間で正解。くつろげました。 - おかみさんが気さくで何より。 水族館への近道を教えてくれたり、行ってらっしゃいの声かけは嬉しかった。 階段に生花が行けられていたのは良かった。 ベッドも快適でした。 チェックアウト時にいただいたおにぎりは新海苔で包んであり中身は佃煮、塩加減もよく、とっても美味しいものでした。 客用は階段のみだったが従業員のエレベーターがあるのかな？荷物は３階まで上げてくれました。帰りも降ろしていただきました。 お風呂の天井が気になった。建物が古かったので仕方ないことだと思うが。

• Glen (9/5): Kaigetsu is an older traditional ryokan, so if you want modern, it’s not for you..however it’s clean central to a lot of - Close to the station and bus terminal. Walking distance to a lot of local attractions and restaurants. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful but zero English spoken so beware.

• Michelle (8/5): Great staff, traditional ryokan feel - The ryokan staff were very friendly and helpful. It has a very traditional Japanese ryokan feel and is a family-run small business. The hotel is convenient to the JR/Nankai Toba stations. The ryokan is showing its age and could use some refurbishments/renovations.
• Mutsuo (10/5): 最高でした！　またきます。 - 子供時代から慣れ親しんだ雰囲気の旅館でした、息子は最初は戸惑っていましたが立派な建物、皆様の温かい雰囲気で本当に快適な四日間を過ごせました。 細かくはありますが、古いながらの良さと相殺です。

• MASAYO (7/5): アットホーム - 建物、設備は古き旅館といった感じですが女将さん、朝食の担当をしてくれた方ともに気さくで良かったです。 目の前を電車が通り、いろんな車両が見れました！鳥羽水族館からのアクセスも最高！あと、チェックアウト時に女将さんお手製のおにぎりをいただきました。1人2個ずつ、サイズ感もよく新海苔ということもあってか、ものすごく美味しかったです。 設備が古い、ということくらいでしょうか。 トイレが昔ながらで便座が冷たいので、交換してくれたら嬉しいな。
• Caroline (10/5): Wonderful - Fantastic accommodation. The room was traditional, which made for a wonderful experience, and the kindness of the people who run the place was a real plus. They were really very kind and attentive. Furthermore, the location is ideal for visiting Pearl Island (just a few minutes' walk away) and other fabulous places accessible by train, such as the Futami Okitama Shrine and Ise Jingu.

• Lloyd (10/5): Amazing is the only way to sum this accomidation. - Everything!!!! The hosts were amazing to me, my wife and my 9 month old daughter (Kawairashii), they all really made us feel welcome. Even with a communication barrier (and my poor duolingo Japanese) we were still able to navigate conversations well. The Mie prefecture is known for its seafood, Ama divers and pearls. It did not disappoint. Fun fact Oshawott is the official Pokemon mascot for Mie prefecture This is not in regards to the accomidation at all, rather for forgieners to be aware. We stayed during the beginning of Golden week. A lot of the shops were closed and it seemed like a bit of a ghost town. Toba is beautiful and i hope it was just because of the time of year we came. If this accomidation was located in Ise I would stay here everytime I visited Mie prefecture.

We are greeted by both the mom and daughter who.help us with everything from getting luggages to.our room to making all good recommendations for local activities. The hotel is also within walking distance of the Pearl Island and Toba station. The room is sizable and comfortable.
• Glenn (9/5): Beautiful and welcoming - a great place to stay in Toba - A wonderful, welcoming, and traditional Japanese stay. A little tired, but the room was spacious and light with everything we needed. The table was set with tea and the house slippers were supplied and our shoes lined up for our use at the door. Kiku's rice balls were a lunchtime life-saver at times, we were so surprised and grateful for this. Great location with wonderful restaurants and access to Toba on your doorstep. The pillows were a bit hard for our soft Western heads :)

Comfy rooms, basic set up but has everything you need. Close to pearl museum and free parking Not much to do around, but it s a very small town, so not surprising.

• Carla (10/5): - A wonderful stay for anyone wanting a traditional Japanese ryokan experience. Kaigetsu is a historic property with a lot of character and charm. Although the building is old, the bathroom felt very new and well updated, which made the stay even more comfortable. We stayed in an excellent room with a lovely tatami sitting area and a tea space, which made the experience feel especially authentic and relaxing. The view was not completely open, but we could still see the sea, which was very nice. The bedding was good quality, clean, and comfortable. The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from the station, which made everything very convenient. They also provide the traditional Japanese robes, which added to the charm of the stay. The Japanese-style breakfast was very complete and carefully prepared. Overall, it was a very special experience and a great choice for anyone looking to enjoy the atmosphere of a historical ryokan.

• Nobuyuki (9/5): 古いけど、味のある、心地よい宿 - 鳥羽水族館まで歩いて数分で、ロケーションは良好。朝食も美味しかった！施設はかなり古いですが、部屋は清潔ですし、宿泊料も考えると、それも味かな、、と思えます。 大浴場は、女性だけだと、安全上、やや怖く感じるかもしれません。

And the homemade rice balls when you check out are the icing on the cake. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone going to Toba! Absolutely nothing

• Tomoka (9/5): はじめての鳥羽観光の思い出になりました - 1泊素泊まりで利用させていただきました。出発時にお手製のおにぎりを持たせていただいたり、出発時に目的地までの道案内までしていただいたりと心遣いがありがたかったです。普段ビジネスホテルばかり利用しているので、新鮮な体験ができました。今回は時間の関係で素泊まりにしたのですが、また鳥羽に来る機会があれば、ぜひ食事つきプランで宿泊したいと思います。 周辺の土地勘がなかったのと公共交通機関の下調べが甘かったため、到着が遅くなってしまったりとこちらがご迷惑をかけてしまい申し訳なかったです。普段レビューを書くことはあまりないのですが、宿泊施設の方のお人柄が大変良く、はじめての鳥羽観光の思い出になりましたので長文で書かせていただきました。 宿泊施設の問題ではないですが、周辺の飲食店の営業終了時間が早めなので注意が必要です。また、一番近い鳥羽駅のコンビニも20時で閉まってしまいます。

El único punto negativo que puedo recordar es que la presión del agua de la ducha era un poco baja y costaba ducharse.

• Yuki (7/5): 久しぶりのファミリー旅行 - チェックアウト時に用意して下さった家族4人分のおにぎりが、とっても美味しかったです。 後、朝食時に給仕して下さったスタッフさんが気さくで色々観光の事を聞けて良かったです 夜8時か9時頃に喉が渇いて、旅館の中のどこかに自販機があるだろうと探し回ったのですが見つからず、やっと見つけて聞いてみると、館内には、無いとの事。外に買いに行がなくてはならなかったので、自販機あったらいいなと思いました。

• Mina (8/5): 素敵な思い出の場所が増えました！ - 口コミの女将さんの対応が凄くいいという内容に惹かれ、鳥羽みなとまつりの際に宿泊しました。大女将さんが対応して頂いたのですが、凄く気さくに話をして頂き、祭りから戻るとお帰りなさい〜！花火綺麗やったねー！と迎えて頂き、おばあちゃんの家に帰ったような温かさがありました。歴史のある旅館との事で建物は古いですが、お部屋のバスルームはリフォームされていて、ベッド、布団のシーツもピシッと綺麗で過ごしやすかったです！ チェックアウト時に素泊まりにも関わらず、おにぎり持たせて頂きました。嬉しいし美味しいし、幸せな気持ちになりました！ 女将さんに会えなかったのが残念ですが、大女将さん同様素敵な方なのだろうなと思います。 また来年も来たいな、と思います！ 大浴場の脱衣所にクーラーかウォーターサーバーがあれば嬉しいなと思いました！

• Kanae (7/5): - 対応してくれた方がとても優しく、朝食のおにぎりも用意していただき、美味しかったです。お風呂はシャンプーリンス、ドライヤー、浴衣も揃っていて良かったです。ベットもちょうど良い硬さで気持ちよかったです 部屋の扉の鍵が閉めづらかったことと、ボイラーか何か音が気になりました。
• BEKKI (8/5): - 清潔でスタッフの方の感じが良かった。素泊まりでしたが、朝食におにぎりを持たせてくださいました。 ロケーションが線路近くで電車の音が聞こえた点。
• hyewon (10/5): 鳥羽水族館 旅行宿 - 年末を迎えて家族旅行で来ました。 鳥羽水族館近いです! 過ごす間とても楽に過ごすことができました！ 伝統的なお座敷、いいですよ！ おかげさまで楽でした！ ありがとうございます。

• OTA (8/5): 家族、カップルでも泊まれます - 近くに居酒屋さんもあり、女将さんの対応が良かったです。また朝食も食べきれないくらいありお腹いっぱいになりました。宿から出る時お昼のおにぎりまで頂きました。 ドアが昔ながらの感じで、施錠面が少し心配でした。

• YEN TING (9/5): 位置方便，老闆熱情友善，早餐也好吃 - 老闆娘很熱情友善！有任何問題都會積極協助，每次出門都會送到門前「行ってらっしゃい！」很溫馨，離開前還會送上手作飯糰，剛好成為當天趕車的午餐。 旅館就在鳥羽站出來走路五分鐘，很方便。 雖然不大，但結束一天旅途後有浴場可以泡就是舒適！ 設備整體還是看得出來偏舊，例如馬桶的沖水扭要自己手動復位，不過整體來說問題不大，且新穎的電視、暖氣等設備有感受到旅館努力更新讓住宿環境更好的用心。

• Yuya (1/5): I don’t recommend this, go other Ryokan. - I booked this hotel on Booking.com and payment by app and card were accepted at when I made the booking. But they refused payment by app nor credit card o site. I told I don’t have cash but they insist so I needed to borrow money from someone. This is insane, they use booking.com as platform but they don’t want to pay fee to app nor credit card company. Just they want to earn a little of additional money, they put me extremely shameful situation. And worth to note that the room was very noisy during the night, maybe cleaning bath and somewhere in the facility. Walls were thin enough to hear neighbors use bathroom. I believed you can find better place.
• Yoshino (7/5): 田舎に帰省した感じでくつろげます - 老舗、駐車場有、スタッフの方々が親切、食事が美味しい、建物は古いがキチンと清掃がされている、鳥羽水族館に近い、スーツケースを上の階までキチンと運んでもらえる、大女将のお土産のおむすびの心使いとお見送りは心が温かくなりました。 風呂上がりのマットがもう少し新しく綺麗で、化粧台に鏡があると良いと思いました。
