• Claire (9/5): delightful hotel in the centre of charming town with super friendly staff. - lovely characterful hotel right in the middle of town. staff were particularly friendly and helpful. good places to eat nearby. good (simple) breakfast in a nice bustling cafe over the road charming town in beautiful area with lots of scenic hills. managed a quick trip to the monastery. possibly could have been good to have a more substantial breakfast option for our day of cycling.

• Amanda (9/5): Found my family with hotel manager’s help :) - The location was great. The staff was wonderful! The breakfasts were tasty. The view from our room was beautiful. The hotel manager, was amazing. I travelled to Serra San Bruno to find and connect with family (my grandparents came from there but I never met my relatives living there). I mentioned names of relatives to the hotel manager and he contacted people in town and asked around to help me find my family. And we did! I met great aunts and many cousins for the first time in my life, and connected to my family roots in ways I never expected. I’m so happy and grateful. It was such a beautiful experience that I’ll remember forever. And now I can stay in touch with family there. The manager went above and beyond to help me find my family and I’m so grateful :) The bed was a lot harder / firmer than we are used to back home, and the shower was quite small (but that seemed to be the norm in Italy).

(7/5): Passare un fine settimana a Serra San Bruno è sempre bello ! - L'albergo è situato in un'ottima posizione, con parcheggi vicini - la nostra stanza era ben arieggiata ed il letto molto comodo - il personale è stato sempre molto cortese e disponibile. Siamo capitati nel mezzo di un problema logistico e la colazione non era disponibile nella struttura - onestamente non ho molto gradito dover uscire al bar di fronte e fare colazione con un solo caffè e cornetto.

The breakfast is included at a bakery next door. The room had a nice view and a tiny balcony. The reception is a little erratic and there is not always someone there. The lift had a tendency to stop working. The wifi was annoying. Housekeeping was not done regularly.

• Antonio (9/5): In the heart of the town - The location (despite being right in the heart of the town the noise was kept at bay by good double glazed windows). The Music Festival during the weekend did not affect our stay. It would be nice to specify (even on the coupon) that the included breakfast consists of: 1 coffee (or cold drink) + 1 breakfast pastry at the pâtisserie opposite the hotel. That's it! Do not expect a full cooked breakfast and bottomless coffee or tea.

Our room had a little balcony overlooking the main street which was charming. There was also a storage area for our bicycles which was good as we were touring. The very pleasant and lovely Francesca checked us in and also helped us book our stay for the next night, which was very stress relieving!! Not a lot….the bar across the street was very noisy until about 10:30, but I had earplugs and so wasn’t bothered at all.

Or also leave the bathroom door open and open that window as well. Solution I think not! Should get the a/c fixed! You advertised air conditioning! Crazy No where to place your luggage. Hardly able to walk around the beds. Made me feel claustrophobic. Quad room it is not ! So advertised incorrectly. No bunk beds. We left after one night. Scrambled to find another place and lucky we did. We could not bear another night. Clean but that is all. We ever made it to the breakfast but it did look nice but a comfortable stay is much more important. Extremely disappointed. Pics looked good and reviews so we booked it. They would not give us any refunds for other dates.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel is in the center of town, it was possible to park very close to the hotel. A stone's throw away are several options of where to go for dinner. We could only stay one night unfortunately as we were doing a sightseeing tour of Calabria. We would have really liked to have stayed longer at this place.

One can feel the vibe the the street, the people etc Don't worry - no noise is involved. The stuff are so friendly making every effort to make one's stay a pleasant one.

We travelled with two little kids.The rooms were very clean and tidy, service staff serviced the room daily, breakfast was so lovely with a beautiful view over the Main Street, and above all Rachel and Pasquale were so very kind and helpful. They both went above to make sure our stay was comfortable and memorable. Our stay at Hotel Conte Ruggero made our stay at Serra San Bruno. the town is a hidden gem! 10/10 in every aspect. We cannot wait to return.
• Salvatore (10/5): Great staff, location, well maintained, highly recommend this hotel. - The location is right in centre of the town. It is walking distance to almost everything in Serra San Bruno. Coffee and gelato bars across the street and several other options as well. The breakfast provided by the wonderful staff at the hotel is excellent, you have a good selection to choose from and they make it fresh for you and great special coffees like cappuccino, lattes. The rooms are very modern, good wifi, and very well maintained. We feel it is very good value and we will be back to this hotel on our next visit. Nothing to complain about, it was excellent

• Chris (8/5): a surprising gem of a hotel - was not expecting this quality - a welcome surprise in Calabria. super staff. great location in centre of town. large bathroom. hotel appears recently renovated. good breakfast by Italian standards - on super terrace unfortunately common walls were not sound proof.

• Marco (10/5): - Struttura ottima situata nel centro della città, camere molto pulite e abbastanza spaziose, l’unico problema che alcune camere non hanno l’aria condizionata nonostante dicano sul sito che è presente.

Personale gentile e professionale. Nelle vicinanze c'è anche un grande parcheggio, ca. 1 min a piedi. Consiglio questo hotel.

Letto molto comodo. Hotel posizionato in centro, con passaggio di mezzi sotto la finestra quando il varco ZTL è aperto e vociare e schiamazzi delle persone quando invece il varco ZTL è chiuso. Colazione a buffet (eccetto le bevande calde) con ampia scelta.
