• Bielsista (10/5): Really Excellent Location and Quality Suite - Fabulous Quality Accommodation in Great Location. The suite was on the fourth floor very classy immensely well equipped with kitchen gear, Nespresso, kettle iron cutlery and crocks. Aircon large and comfy bed great bathroom and shower. Right by the Se go right at the antique shop. If I wanted to be picky I'd say that there was no room clean in three days unless we paid €25 and that meant no new towels which in the heat were needed. But excellent nonetheless will definitely come back.
• KayakingNomad (10/5): Modern studio right in the center of town - Great studios, very modern, well maintained, and very friendly helpful staff. Room 3 is large, has a kitchen and seating area, and windows which open out on the street. Great location, Close to the cathedral but the soundproofed windows create a quiet room. Room 6 seemed a smaller room, but had more natural light and a small balcony - unfortunately there were no chairs on the balcony. I would definitely stay in the Se Inn again.

A localização é ótima, mesmo a poucos metros da Sé e com diversas opções de restaurantes. Vale apenas referir que está localizado em uma zona pedonal e o carro deverá ser estacionado na rua ou em estacionamentos privados. A experiência foi ótima.
• shawnieg2015 (10/5): Lovely stay at Se Inn! - We stayed at the Se Inn Suites for 6 nights and loved it! The location is great for exploring the city. Everyone in reception was very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were large, clean and well appointed. Like others have said, in our room there was only shaded glass diving the bathroom and bedroom so it is important that you are comfortable with the person you are staying with. We had no problem with that and thought everything was top notch! We would love to stay here again if we ever have another chance to visit Braga.
• Ewan (8/5): Great apartment, mostly friendly staff - Really nice apartment. Very clean and mostly friendly staff. One lady was very brusque when we arrived a bit early before check in at 3pm. All we wanted to do was leave our luggage… which they did allow. The apartment is in a great location in centre of town. There is a mini bar which you are obviously expected to pay for, however they don’t even provide complimentary coffee and tea. You need to pay for each coffee pod and even the tea bags which seems very penny pinching and not something I have ever experienced before. Unfortunately on checking out the brusque lady was on duty again. She asked if everything was ok with the room. I mentioned that the tv didn’t work… more to inform her it needed fixing for the next guests. She snapped at us saying we could have called to have it fixed. I’m not sure a call at 12pm would have been appreciated and I wished I hadn’t bothered to mention it due to the ugly response!

• 192js (10/5): Wonderful stay. - We initially planned to stay in Braga for three days and then travel throughout the region. We liked the city, and especially this wonderful small hotel, so much that we stayed for a full week, and used it as a base for visiting other towns. Our room was quite pleasant, with modern decor, a very comfortable bed, and a decent sized (and attractive) kitchen area. Some people have complained about the fact that the shower has a glass wall that looks out onto the room, but you can lower a shade for more privacy if you wish. The location is amazing, 1/2 block from the cathedral but located on a small alley which was very quiet despite the lively seen in the cathedral plaza. The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to make you comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again.

• AussieTiddler (10/5): Excellent Braga base - Se Inn Suites are ideally located opposite the Cathedral in the historic centre of Braga. All the main sites and loads of restaurants/cafes/bars are close. The accommodations are spotless and serviced daily and reception staff very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed a very comfortable stay and found it great value for money.
• Churchf1elds (8/5): Chic Hotel - You would never know what was behind the front door of this place until you step inside. Down a pedestrian cobbled street you find the door to the SE Inn. Step inside and you are in a modern boutique hideaway. We stayed for just one night but wish we’d stayed longer! The room was spacious with a separate kitchen area complete with coffee maker, fridge, hob, sink, microwave, toaster, all utensils, crockery and glasses you can think of and dining table and chairs. The bathroom was perfect. Huge waterfall shower, beautiful toiletries and plenty of space (we’ve stayed in hotel rooms smaller!) The staff at SE Inn were polite and made us feel welcome as soon as we went in with a nice welcome coffee. There were also some yummy truffles as a welcome gift in the room. We had the only ground floor room (room 1) which also had a courtyard sitting area. Would give 5/5 but the only downside is if you have a car there is very little in the way of parking in the local area however you can park in a garage 3 minute walk from SE Inn for a fee (€10 per night) this will need to be booked in advance with reception as spaces for the hotel are limited. We had no issues with the garage and staff.

• jojackson2019 (10/5): Excellent small hotel - We had a wonderful stay at the SE Inn. The staff were all helpful and knowledgeable about Braga and sights in Northern Portugal. The location was amazing - right next to the cathedral and in walking distance of all the sights. Room There are 8 apartments in the hotel, we were in room 7 on the third floor. There is a lift, so no need to carry luggage. We had a view of the top of the Cathedral. Our room was well designed and spacious. There was a small kitchenette with hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, etc. We didn’t use this but loved the nespresso machine - you are charged for tea and coffee but it’s very reasonable at 0.80€. There wasn’t any milk so you will need to buy this. Complimentary water was left daily. Our room was also cleaned daily. TV had lots of English channels. Lots of wardrobe space and ironing board and iron. Bathroom This was off the kitchen, so round the corner from the bedroom and had a tinted glass door, not very private but you can’t be seen from the bedroom area - some other rooms may differ according to other reviews. Bathroom had robes, plenty of towels, hairdryer and toiletries. Shower was excellent, both rainfall and normal shower head, plenty of hot water. Parking There is a private garage round the corner from the hotel. The men who run it are lovely and helpful. It’s located at 107 Rua dom Alfonso HENRIQUES, if you are driving. Costs €10 a day. Would definitely return to this hotel. Lovely staff, wonderful location.

No parking at the hotel but they have an arrangement with a local garage where you can park your car, not easy to find when you don’t know, €10 a night and the chap was really friendly.

• MauriceTangredi (8/5): Modern, comfortable accommodation, great location - Our party of four stayed at Se-Inn for three nights in March 2018. The Se Inn is just around the corner from Sé Braga's Cathedral which is the oldest in Portugal. The Se Inn rooms were very comfortable, well designed and very clean. The three ladies who run the hotel are very professional, friendly and kind and they really make you feel at home. A five minute walk to the train station, even less to the shopping and restaurants/cafes made the Se Inn Suites/Studios ideal for our short stay. Highly recommended.

• teresac127 (10/5): Modern, comfortable, great people and the best location - Our family stayed at Se-Inn on several occasions between August and November 2017, including a long stay. It is a very well built suite-hotel, the design of the rooms is excellent and it is full of quality details such as the Nespresso coffee machine. We have stayed in three different suites and liked all of them. Two of them had ouside space (a balcony in one case, a small patio in the other) and one had small balconies looking on to the medieval street. The three ladies who run the hotel (the owner and two employees) are very professional and kind. They really make you feel at home. In addition Se Inn is around the corner, literally, from Sé, Braga's Cathedral which is the oldest in Portugal. I would not go anywhere else in Braga and I recommend this place to anybody visiting the city. In fact we have stayed in three different hotels in Braga, including Melia, and we consider this one to be, by far, the most comfortable and practical one.
• joseandglen (8/5): Ideal accommdation in Braga - Located in the very heart of town, small boutique hotel in a beautifully restored old building. Very modern, clean and well insulated. Courteous staff at reception. At a cost of €10 a day, there is a safe car park 3 minutes walking. Worth it. Breakfast is served in the room at €7 per guest. Not worth it. There are several fabulous cafés in the neighborhood and that is a very pleasant experience. Warning - if you want full privacy, book a suite with a separate bathroom with a proper door, as some studios offer the bizarre concept of “open toilet”. Yes, you heard me. Visiting Braga? Look no further.
• TV2451 (10/5): Comfortable and Quiet - Just sayin', we stayed at the Se Inn. Ha! It was comfortable and quiet, almost brand new. Fairly large studio suite almost fully-equipped. Excellent location in the center a few steps from the Se. Note that they do not clean while you stay there, so if you are in for more than one night, you'll have to re-use your stuff. Not a big problem.

• PetrinaH176 (10/5): Above and beyond expectations - This is definitely the most comfortable and well appointed place that we have stayed in during our visits to Portugal. It is well situated for visiting the many beautiful buildings, churches, museums and restaurants, and we would highly recommend it. It is a little difficult to find, on a narriw cobbled street near the cathedral, but once found it is a real gem. The staff are delightful, very helpful with directions to various places of interest and restaurants, and keep the whole place in immaculate condition. Parking was arranged in a nearby and secure garage, and costs €10 per day. We occupied the garden suite, which has a huge bedroom, bathroom, a well equipped room where we could sit and eat or cook (if we felt so inclined) and a small garden with chairs. A friend travelling with us occupied a queen room on the third floor, and was equally happy with it. This would definitely be the place we woukd return to, so please consider it when looking for accommodation in Braga. Our thanks to all at the Se Inn Suites, you made our stay with you so enjoyable.
• yulrn73 (10/5): Quaint hotel - Cool hotel situated in a little alley. We stayed in rm 8, the 3 bedded loft, elevator takes up up to one floor then you need to take luggage up one flight of stairs. Only drawback is getting there with a car, as it's 1 way streets and complicated to get to, but we found it! The staff will tell you where to park . They'll direct you to a parking lot they deal with, 10 euros/d. Also, you'll wake up early as you're right next to the Braga cathedral, the bells will definetly wake you up. The inn is ideally located, close to everything. I highly recomend it.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Apartment is well furnished, clean and comfortable. Local is very good, reception staff is helpful and well service. Kitchen appliances and accessories are very new. However kitchen is small, not enough counter space. Suggest to install a pull out board under the microwave for use as counter top for preparing food. Overall is very good

Foi uma surpresa agradabilíssima chegar a este estabelecimento e me hospedar mais Ainda, ao pé da Catedral da Sé, lugar privilegiado. Pelo hotel, já me dou o presente de retornar a Braga.
• Diegs17 (8/5): Beautiful Lodging in Braga - The suites are gorgeous and huge (as is the bed!). The property is located on a charming alley (make sure to try the Thai restaurant just a few doors down) located a stone's throw away from the cathedral. You cannot park in front of the hotel as a result, but we found free street parking just a few blocks away, which was an easy walk. You can also reserve parking through them if you'd like another alternative. There is a small kitchen in the room, which is convenient if you are staying longer and want the flexibility of making some of your own meals. Truly, the only thing that is a drawback for this hotel is the unfortunate bathroom design. If you are on your own, it won't bother you, but if you are traveling with a partner - especially given the relative luxury and romantic feel of the room - it is a bit of a disappointment. There is relatively little privacy when using the toilet - something which could easily be resolved by small changes like making the glass more frosted, as it is on the shower, or by making the door so it seals, which ours did not. I loved the place, but this would give me pause when booking it again. I also thought it was a shame that they charge for tea and coffee in the rooms, which sort of feels like it takes away from the generous spirit of the place. It was very cheap, so not a deal breaker, but it would be nice if small things like that were included as they are at most hotels we've stayed at throughout Portugal (and the world!).
• TravellerPoland (10/5): The location is perfect and the manager is wonderful - The Se Inn is the best hotel I have tried in Braga and I have tried 3. This is well located and staff are superb - especially the owner who goes out of her way to help you. Breakfasts are especially wonderful as one can ask for almost anything and it will be deleivered to the eat in kitchen in each room the following morning.

• ScotA_11 (10/5): Great Hotel but the Staff and service takes this hotel to a higher level! - Although we were only in Braga for one night, our stay there was emblematic of our trip to Portugal and how wonderful the people were. My wife and I had been in Portugal for almost 2 weeks when we got to Braga. We were warmly received on our arrival. I wanted to go to a football game and Braga was playing on Monday night. When we got to the hotel, I asked Sandra the Manager, how to get tickets, how far ahead to go to the stadium. etc. Sandra asked us to give her a few minutes, made a phone call to facilitate tickets and even went to get them for us! While she was away on that errand, Barbara showed us where the parking was and introduced us to the fellow who ran the lot. It was about a 2 minute walk from the hotel, but she took the time to do it, and we really appreciated it. When we checked out, Sandra explained which sights we might go to and explained how to get there. She really wanted us to see the best of Braga and of Portugal, but it was very genuine, not forced. The hotel itself is very comfortable and modern. The room was a nice size and is set up for long term stays as well with a kitchenette and kitchen accessories, You can order breakfast as well, they deliver it to your room, and it was very good with fruit, breads, cheese and ham and coffee. The rooms were very clean and quiet and Sandra was telling us that they do have some long term bookings with people there on business. She showed us one of the suites, which had an additional sitting room compared to our room, but it would have been more than adequate and very comfortable for a long term stay. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and comfortable, at a great rate - on that basis alone I would be happy to recommend this as a great place to stay, but the warm service we received was really above and beyond, if you are in Braga, stay here, you will not be sorry.
• Aaron (10/5): Gem in the heart of Braga - The hotel was amazing, especially -- but not only -- given the very reasonable price. The room was very clean and well appointed, and the people at the reception desk were very nice and helpful. Will definitely stay there again if I return to Braga!
• Brig71 (10/5): Lovely place! Anytime again! - We stayed at the Se Inn for two nights. A great place in a superb location. After a warm welcome we were directed to the car park which was tricky to find. Any question or request we had got taken care of. If ever in Braga we would go back. Can only recommend it and tell everyone to stay if you like outstanding service and a great, modern place to stay.
