Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location. Close to everything. Parking is very easy. Seconds from Town Square and minutes from the mountain. Very nice and cozy room. However, could have been cleaner. It was clean enough, but some smaller things were overlooked. We had to do some minor cleaning of our own, but nothing too crazy. The staff were excellent. We had to check in very late and Pat waited up for us! She greeted us with a smile at midnight and was great at check in. This was and is greatly appreciated! My kids absolutely loved the pool. Great stay overall. We would definitely return.
Verified traveler (4/5): lease don't go here :( - Please reconsider this place it is so out dated the stove worked but kept falling apart.The staff was wonderful but didn't offer any solutions in fact when I asked for a late check out and was told no and when we went out to bring our big bags they locked us out,It was 11:05 really.This place shouldn't be on Hotels,com its a condo.No housekeeping.Plumbing problems and dirty pool.Please do yourself a favor go some place else.
Verified traveler (8/5): Good but not great. - We had a great time and the kids loved being in a big hotel room. The place was ok, needs updated and the pool/jacuzzi was not very clean. The location was perfect, beautiful views and places close by to walk around, overall we enjoyed our stay.
Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location for a ski weekend at any of the 93-N mountains of NH. Waterville, Loon and Cannon all nearby and easy to get to. Property was in great shape. Modern rooms, clean and comfortable. Only issue was the pull out couch still had some debris inside, some found MnM's and Doritio dust on the sheets. Other than that, room was in great shape. Chairs in the living room could use an update.
Karen (8/5): Nice family location - Great staff and amenities, great location with lots to do. My room was a bit outdated, but friends staying in other rooms were more updated so seems like they are in the process of changing things over. Great (but small) indoor/outdoor pool- fun!
Joyce (6/5): Enjoyable stay with family after rough start. - Upon arrival, we were told we did not have a reservation and that there were no rooms available. We were a family of five arriving at 10PM at night. After further investigation, it was discovered that the email from the online booking entity was missed and never opened. After one hour of checking she managed to find an available room and just had to check and make sure it had been cleaned. While the room had been cleaned by housekeeping we found several (gross) items that had been missed in the bedroom: two fake fingernails and a used q-tip. Also there were several "loose" tortilla chips on top of the refridgerator that had been missed during cleaning.

Our room was less than clean and a dirty diaper was found under the bed. Size of the room is great for a family- you can spread out, if has a kitchen and large table area great for games and eating.

When i spoke with staff they gave a second bedroom on the 3rd floor that was much worse, a dead fish smell coming from the carpet. The unit was old but everything worked, but the smell was a killer.

Only negative point is the size & comfort of the main bed. It was supposed to be Queen size per reservation, but I've never seen a queen bed so small - seems like it wasn't queen size at all. The bed wasn't really that comfortable either - too springy.

Verified traveler (8/5): Good stay - Spacious room. We had one bedroom, a living and a dining area, and a small kitchen. Felt like a full apartment. The floor felt a little dusty, but otherwise it was a good stay. They had a Freedom Pass for activities in the Village too, but too bad the weather was wet during our stay so we didn't get to try them.
Keith (6/5): A nice vacation but could have been better. - We were greeted and treated well by all staff but the pool was closed for renovation forcing us to use the busy over chlorinated athletic club pool. We also had a basement type room and it had a bit of musty smell. The activities were good but the ice rink was also closed.
Marie (8/5): - We loved the layout of the condo for our family of six. The rooms were bright with the skylights, and we loved having three TVs and free Netflix! The property doesn't have the latest finishes, which is to be expected, but there were nice paint colors and everything was clean and worked well. It did set off our allergies, probably the carpeting. We would stay there again!

brian (8/5): A very nice place BUT !! - The Biggest reason was the pool and hot tub !! The web site showed two pools and a hut tub . The Large indoor pool was about 1/4mile away and additional charge 25.00 per person per day . The small pool was ok IF it was 5* warmer , warmer room and the hot tub jets were Broken !!!! So that did make my weekend disappointed !!! Brian

Mary (6/5): Great location- property could use some updates - Black Bear is in an excellent location and could be greatly enhanced with some thoughtful updates The staff are helpful and accommodating and the property is well managed Common areas need some attention ( e.g. lighting, carpet, paint, get rid of drop ceilings)- the hallways are dark and uninviting- they make the place feel gloomy and unclean The unit was clean, but again some updates are in order- new sofa bed ( quite uncomfortable), flooring - hard surface flooring, (carpets get so dirty) and enhanced lighting.

We only had two days there, we didn't really take advantage of the facility. My son and I got in the pool for a few minutes the second night, didn't make it into the hot tub. Maybe we can stay longer next time.

My wife and I were surprised when we saw the sinks covered in hair because everything has been perfect in the past. Aside from that, everything was very much acceptable. More than enough room for my wife and I, and our 3 kids.
