- Jorge (8/5): Very Pleasant , Clean and location suited my stay , i will recommend to others - The Host was very polite and made one feel comfortable . Breakfast was good
- Diane (8/5): A friendly stay - We liked the warm welcome Charlene gave us and the comfortable room I had indicated that we wanted to have breakfast beforehand and Charlene had said we can book it upon arrival. It turned out breakfast was not available on the first morning and when I wanted to confirm the time for breakfast for the second morning, it turned out that she had forgotten about it. It was not a big deal, we made our own arrangements, but it would be better to stay breakfast is not offered.
- Prashiv (10/5): Exceptional - The owner was so friendly and helpful. It was so welcoming and the facilities were spotless. Would definitely stay here again!
- Rodney (6/5): Would stay again but only for a one night stopover. - Clean and Tidy.
Quite central. Just a door (with open keyhole) separated me from owners living area so I felt I had to be really quiet out of respect. Was scared to put the tv on too early or too late.
Had to hang a shirt over the keyhole.
Terrible 'welcome' upon arrival - admittedly not the owner - a friend who was not very friendly or welcoming at all who didn't even know I was arriving at pre-specified time.
No milk for morning coffee - capsules or anything would do.

- Adams (10/5): AmaSun Vacation - The style and decor in my room. The small details - I don't wear make-up but there was cotton pads to remove make up. A cup for my toothbrush and toothpaste. Charlene and Janine was great. There was no complications with location, keys and parking. I slept like a baby, just have a habit of taking my pillow with me. There was cold water in the fridge, milk in reality cute glass container. My dad loved all the antiques. I had queries before arrival and the owner answered them all Everything was great
- Hassen (8/5): Very good -
- Pam (8/5): Very good -
- Asanda (3/5): Poor -
- Mo (8/5): Very good accommodation and location but not much to see or do in East London - Perfect location. Safe and Secure parking. Plenty of space for my pets. Clean, comfortable and spacious unit. Easy and quick access to shops and the beach. East London itself. There is not much to see or do. The beaches are drab looking and overcrowded. Did not entirely feel safe driving around. Slow drivers that don't adhere to the rules of the road. Confusion when at a four-way stop. This was our observation for the greater part of the Eastern Cape. Had to travel through a doggy part of the town to get to the beachfront which was a scary experience.
- Craig (8/5): A peaceful stay with extra bathroom toiletries available which is a nice touch. Safe area - Nice quiet part of George with ample parking N/A

- Van (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melanie (3/5): Disillusioned - It was clean We stayed in what was Cleary the original house's front door reception. There were three doors: the old front door with the stained glass at the door, a door that was connected to the owners house (we could hear through) and the newly added sliding door that opened onto the patio.
The room was too small for three bed . . Luckily we were only two in stead of three as was the plan!
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martin (8/5): pleasant - secure, big room nothing
- Hassen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Edmarie (9/5): Superb -
- Steeneveldt (2/5): The place was lovely; the host was not. - The owner was very distrusting of us. Added an extra cost due to an unexpected extra guest which was perfectly fine. The problem was her hounding us for the money despite the fact that we were staying there for a few days. She ended up waking us up to get us to pay instead of just waiting until we checked out to settle the bill, which is what most other establishments do. It felt as though she was expecting us to disappear into the middle of the night without paying.
- Cherize (9/5): We had a lovely stay! - We had a wonderful stay at AmaSun, especially considering that they’re prepared for loadshedding. The room was equipped with charged torch lights and the WiFi continues working even if the power’s out - which is great! The host also mentioned there being an option for a generator if need be. Beds were comfy, and shower was so nice. So impressed :) Wasn’t aware of the breakfast option, would’ve loved to add that!
- Kudriavets (9/5): I like staying at the hotel and for me it is the best place for 1 night stay! - Hotel is located in the nice quiet area. I stayed at the ground floor and didn't hear any road noise. I stayed in a Double room with Patio with a child and a dog which was very comfortable as we had private space with a door lock and I didn't worry that kid and dog are outside and might run away or somebody might enter our space. It would be better to have a grass at the patio but tiles also work. Nice veranda area. There is a big grass area around the building. Hotel is small cozy and nice. Room has everything you need and even more ))) Didn't like much color of the walls. With lighter color room would look better, cleaner and more upmarket.
- Colleen (8/5): Very good - Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Uninterrupted internet during power outages.
- Youngsuk (7/5): Good - Breakfast was not available . Location was good.
- Christoph (9/5): more than we expected - great host, very kind, helpfull and flexible, because it was quite cold we had eleczrical blankets, just grest nothing
- Jacqueline (8/5): A lovely, clean, comfortable and safe stay to rest while travelling through to Cape Town. - The room was charming, clean and comfortable. It had everything I needed for the night's stay. I also liked that it was not too far from the N2 and easy to find as I was traveling through and just needed a place to stop over. The garden was well-maintained and beautiful. The TV was a little far from the bed [visual problems arise as one gets older] and I also could not get it to work. I am not too technical so I didn't want to be fiddling with wires and 3 different remotes. I just didn't have the energy after a long drive.
I would also suggest a bin outside somewhere to throw pet's "poop" away after picking it up.
I think for the price it could include a small continental breakfast too.
