Philipp (6/5): - Regarding the price I cant recommend staying here. The house is nice and the breakfast is really good, but thats about it. Our sheets and pillows had dirt on them, reception is said to close at 8pm however at 7.40pm no one was there to help with queries we had.

Brenda (10/5): - Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem besonders schönen, über 100 Jahre alten Haus sehr genossen. Das Abendessen war ebenfalls sehr lecker und die Teller waren wunderschön angerichtet. Das Haus ist von einem wunderschönen Garten umgeben, der sehr gepflegt ist. Die Begrüßung und Verabschiedung waren ebenfalls sehr herzlich – wir würden gerne wiederkommen!

Shani (10/5): Amazing stay - Our family and I went to Middelburg to give birth to our first baby. Unbelievable staff. Really friendly. Would recommend their breakfast. Walking distance from Midmed hospital. Will be making use of them for all our children going forward! Nothing comes to mind.
Wendyvr (10/5): Top experience, highly recommended - We really liked this accommodation: the garden was exceptionally beautiful, the adjoining coffee bar was so cozy with a great latte and some good cake. I had a top vegetarian platter with home made bread. (We did not visit Middelburg - we did a stopover on our way to the airport - so no info on location for a city visit)

I loved the sandwich ( could have had 2 packs ), enjoyed the juice and chocolate. All the other bits like chips and biscuits did not appeal to me. It was hot. A fan in the room would have been great.

Nortje (7/5): Good - breakfast was okay, bacon was a bit on the dry side and the coffee was luke warm. Maybe a kettle rather to ensure the coffee water is nice and hot for everyone to enjoy. Appart from that, i really enjoyed the breakfast It was really cold, maybe put a extra blanket or 2 in the storage cuppard in the room for those who do not like the cold.

Interim manager was surprised by our arrival (the main staff didn't share the Booking with him) - but he had us check out and select rooms to our liking. Comfy beds. Great breakfast (people weren't lying) - the omelette with sausage was extremely good. Secure parking. Slightly overpriced but not by much.

Ed (8/5): Great location for the Loskop Ultra race - We ran the Loskop Ultra and the location was perfect for the start. The lady at reception was very helpful and the team at the guesthouse got up early to have breakfast ready for the runners. The room was comfortable and provided us with all we needed. Nothing that we didn't like.
