Min-Jeong (10/5): Really nice hotel with good proximity to Kruger's Malelane Gate. - The rooms were very clean, spacious, and the grounds were lovely. The view from our 2 room chalet was gorgeous overlooking the river where we spotted a few crocodiles and hippos in the morning. There were two pools which looked great but we didn't have time for a dip. There was also an outdoor gym which was a nice touch. We relied on google maps to get us to the hotel after leaving Malelane Gate, but google maps tries to direct you through a gated and locked industrial facility to get to the hotel which was an unpleasant surprise to encounter in the dark, after a tiring full day in the park, while caravaning with another car. Thankfully, we had walkie talkies and could communicate with our friends, but we had to ask a police officer (luckily there was one nearby) to figure out how to get onto HWY 4 going in the correct direction as it was rather tricky. It would have been helpful for the hotel to have either let us know that this was an issue (I'm sure we are not the first, or the last, people to have this issue with google maps) or given us good directions. The same happened in the morning as we were leaving for the park, google maps tried to take us through the the same industrial facility.
Gita (8/5): it was an overnight stop and the sunset in the restaurant surpassed our expectations - The View from the restaurant was OUT OF THIS WORLD, as was the service. The rooms have a "tired" outdated feel to them, they were clean and had the basics...
Trevor (10/5): - Stunning location right alongside Crocodile River. Lovely braai area with view of river as well. Elephant alongside boundary fence in evening made it even more memorable.
David (6/5): Great place but needs updating, restaurant is closed down. - Its on the crocodile river, overlooking the Kruger, it is an amazing experience. The restaurant and bar has been closed, no notice given on Booking.com, only found this out upon arrival, after paying. It meant that my usual favourite ritual and meal was not available and I had to go into town for dinner. The room is getting dated, furniture is dirty, I'm sure they could expand the viewing package on their tv's (not smart either).

Khongelani (10/5): - Their facilities are in the right place, built right the famous Crocodile River. Even if you had a disturbing dream, or moody morning, a step right outsode the door, your soul is fed with an incredible view of the elephants, hippos, and kinds of birds quenching their thirst at the river. Lovely and friendly staff too. Definitely coming back

Lina (7/5): Preis leistung ist herausragend, super tolles gemütliche anlage und hütten - Sehr sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet, besonders in der küche, tolle anlage, tolle lage direkt am fluss, Housekeeping hat einen exzellenten job gemacht. Bad (dusche) ein wenig erneuerungsbedürftig, sofa im wohnzimmer auch schon etwas abgenutzt Pool müsste etwas sauberer gehalten werden.

Não gostei do facto do pequeno-almoço estar reservado apenas aos hóspedes em chalets sem cozinha. O check-out é muito cedo. Nós chegamos lá, por volta das 17 horas e às 10 horas do dia seguinte já tinhamos que sair. Aproveitamos muito pouco. Mas, em suma, é um lugar agradável, sobretudo quando é uma viagem em grupo.

Sharon (5/5): Comfortable but the cold water wasn't nice. - We were able to drop off our luggage before going into Kruger (before booking in time). No hot water in the shower! No bedside lamp to be able to read.
Clem (7/5): It was a fantastic stay. - The location. The property was undergoing maintenance during our stay, and the workers’ activities infringed upon our privacy. The pool was not properly maintained and appeared to have an excessive level of chlorine. Additionally, access to the property is shared, and the “security” gate is operated by a simple push button, which raises significant security concerns. While daily maintenance of the unit was carried out promptly, it was often done in such haste that the staff occasionally failed to lock the unit afterward. This, combined with the issues mentioned above, represents a serious lapse in both security and guest privacy.

Le chalet est grand, 1 salle de bain pour chaque chambre...Le restaurant peut préparer les petits déjeuners à emporter si on leur demande. Seulement à 15 min de la porte Malenane. Très bon rapport qualité prix !

Werner (4/5): Although the pricing is good, I would rather spend a bit more at Rio Vista next door. - The view from the room was nice considering the location at the river across from the Kruger Park. The property has great potential if managed better. The bathroom walls were dirty and the floor tiles are very slippery when wet - very dangerous when getting out the shower. The beds are very hard, although some people may prefer that, it was not a pleasant nights sleep. The swimming pool was not clean and the water was green - you could not see the floor, even in the shallow end.
Francois (8/5): It was awesome. Its the second time we stayed there and for the price and closeness to the malalelane kruger gate and sh - We stayed in the superior chalet right on the river. Highly recommended. Seperate from the rest, awesome view accross the river and more than enough space for two people. The deck wapecially is huge for 2 people, we spent almost all our time on it reading, braaing and just relxing. Perhaps put up a dropdown canvass on the open side of the deck. The one night it was raining quite heavily with a side wind and the deck furniture all got wet. Not a biggy as we just quickly put it away, but its all thats needed to be able to still sit outside and relax or eat, even if it rains.

The beds were outdated in the cabins, and the restaurant and pool area were also closed over the festive season. Only leaving one small pool in the facility, which was also not clean.

Samukelisiwe (7/5): A good option for short stay and reasonably priced given the location and amenities. - The location is conveniently close to the Malalane gate at Kruger. The property was nice and comfortable with nice views of the river. We got to see some animals from the property. The property was also very peaceful. 1.The pools were not as clean as we would have liked. 2. The roofing in the cabins can be improved sound proof wise, as it sounded like there are bats or rats running up the ceiling and might come into the cabin from the ceiling. 3. Add blinds or darker curtains in the bedroom as the sunlight when the sun rose was blinding/irritating.

I was looking for a 2 bedroom apartment and I was made to book 2 chalets thinking that it was a 2 bedroom. I wasted money on the 2nd chalet because there was no way my 5 year old will sleep alone in a whole chalet.

Ernest (6/5): Unpleasant!!! - The wild by the river. The guy that cleaned our bbq every morning thank you!! There were creatures in our roof running around the whole night none stop so we didn't get much sleep. I did report the matter but nothing was done about it. We stayed there for a week and had to complain about the cleaning of our unit, No vacuum, No fresh towels not good value for your money.

Qiniso (10/5): It's a great place - The place is just like in the pictures. Very clean and comfortable. The outside is well groomed, although the pool was a bit dirty because it raoned while we were there. There's a private pool for residents, and a more public one by the restaurant. The food at the restaurant is tasty, but the waiters took forever to respond. You can book a game drive at reception on check in. The game drive itself was so awesome, and the guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Oh and you do get a glimpse of wildlife from beyond the fence of the Chalets. The view of the river is breathtaking. I would definitely go back. Slow waiter service

The air conditioner was leaking in the pillow, the pillow was wet and we had to sleep on the opposite side. It was not nice at all as water from the aircon could not stop!

Nijlaarden, apen, etc) voor de deur ziet lopen bij de rivier en asn de overkant van het water, in Kruger. Zwembad was heerlijk en ook voor de deur. Er hingen 2 vleermuizen🤣
