Seit fast 30 Jahren fliegen wir fast jedes Jahr nach Südafrika. Die South Villa ist eine der top 3 Unterkünfte! Das Frühstück ist große Klasse, wird auf Wunsch/Bestellung am Vortag zusammengestellt. Es wird sogar auf dem eigenen Balkon serviert. Christa und Ihr Mann Hentie sind tolle Gastgeber! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! Tausend Dank! alles perfekt!!!

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und durften während des gesamten Aufenthalts eine familiäre Atmosphäre erleben. Unser Zimmer mit großem Bad verfügte über TV, Klimaanlage, Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher. Am überzeugensten war der Blick vom Balkon auf die Knysna Heads und das liebevoll arrangierte Frühstück. Für uns bedeutet Knysna = South Villa, auch wenn es nicht zentral gelegen ist. In Südafrika empfiehlt es sich sowieso, bei Dunkelheit ein Auto/ Taxi zu nehmen. Danke an Christa und Hentie samt Team. ./.

• Moloi (9/5): Our unforgettable Knysna experience. - The place was very clean, friendly staff, and the breakfast was exceptional 👌 and served in the comfort of our room patio every morning. Nothing, it was just that my husband had an operation to his knee and back, so the steps at the entrance was difficult for him, but we were assisted with the luggage.

• Deborah (10/5): Outstanding - A lovely 4 star guest house with beautiful views from our balcony of Knysna Heads/the sea. Crista is the most amazing hostess. Our Land Rover Defender with roof rack was too tall for the garage so she arranged for secure parking just down the road at a friend's place. As we then did not have a car, she offered to drive us to a restaurant and pick us up later. I was not feeling brilliant so she recommended a restaurant that would deliver, 34 degrees South. The food was great and she arrived with plates, cutlery etc as it arrived and we ate out on our balcony looking out at the lovely view. She could not have been more helpful and we really appreciated it. A lovely place to stay and a great location but it is the hospitality and service which we will remember.

Our room had a lovely balcony overlooking the lagoon. Breakfast was delicious. We stayed two nights at the South Villa guest house, and wish we could have stayed longer. Ronnie and Thelma, the hosts were very engaging, affable and informative. Ronnie gave us some excellent recommendations for local restaurants and great places to go for a sundowner. Thelma and Ronnie were also available every morning for advice and ideas of where to go and what to see around the beautiful Knysna area. Our room was lovely, the bed comfortable and the location excellent - the Waterfront and the town are within easy walking distance, approx 15 mins I cannot recommend this place highly enough. A very memorable and beautiful place to stay with wonderfully caring hosts.

Der Empfang durch unsere Gastgeber war überaus herzlich und zuvorkommend. So wurde z.B. unser Gepäck direkt vom Auto in unser Zimmer gebracht, während wir mit einem Willkommensgetränk verwöhnt wurden. Unser Zimmer - mit eigener Veranda - war relativ klein, aber absolut zweckmäßig und bequem eingerichtet.

Detta lilla guesthouse har fyra rum, vacker inredning och är mycket personligt. Inga problem att parkera din bil, då varje rum har en plats.Frukosten var toppen (och du fyller i en beställningssedel där du kryssar för det du önskar till frukost) South Villa Guesthouse ligger ca 20 min promenad från Knysna waterfront. Taxi dit eller tillbaka kostar ca 60-70 zar. Rekommenderas absolut!
• Lynda (10/5): Simply the best - This guest house was outstanding because of its attention to detail. The room was beautiful with a chocolate on each pillow. The breakfast, which was cooked fresh, was simply outstanding with all food kept covered until it was placed in front of you. The service by the staff was exemplary. Even though there were steps up to the property, our luggage was carried both up and down for us. We couldn't have asked for more. If you're in this area please don't miss the opportunity to stay here.

• Betty (10/5): Beautiful place to stay - We had the best stay in Knysna at the South Villa Guesthouse. We loved the breakfast on the balcony with the amazing view to the lagoon. Everything was Perfect.

• Laura (10/5): Tolles kleines sympathisches Hotel - Schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage. Die Zimmer waren sauber und das Bett sehr bequem. Das Frühstück war toll und man konnte auf seinem eigenen Balkon sitzen. Würde es wieder buchen.

• Ursula (10/5): Tolles Guesthouse mit traumhaftem Blick - Das Guesthouse ist sehr hell und schön eingerichtet. Man hat vom Balkon einen tollen Blick über die Lagune. Das Frühstück muss am Abend gewählt werden und wird dann morgens so serviert, je nach Wunsch auch auf dem eigenen Balkon

You have a choice of having breakfast on your own private balcony, in the main room or out on the main balcony, all of which are great options. Very welcoming staff and offered tips on how to get to our next location. One of my favorite hotels of our two week trip!
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Das B&B liegt in einer ruhigen Straße am Ortsrand von Knysna. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt. Das Zimmer hat alles, was den Aufenthalt angenehm macht (einschließlich gepackte Strandtasche). Frühstück ist sehr gut und kann auch auf der eigenen Terasse serviert werden.
