• tynanw2023 (8/5): Comfortable stay, extensive breakfast and great location - We received very simple instructions on arrival that allowed us to check in on our own which helped as we arrived quite late from our trip to Turin. We woke up to a very extensive selection of cakes and cold meats for breakfast which was excellent.
• jchanamm (10/5): Use WhatsApp to communicate with the landlady and you’ll be in good hands - Wonderful place as long as you have WhatsApp to text Elena, the landlady. She uses only WhatsApp or you can email her. Location is perfect to see sites in Genoa’s Old Town. Breakfast is good and so is her coffee. We stayed in an apartment for five nights.
• andreasb761 (10/5): Unusual and very good B&B - This is actually an unusual place. It is a B&B that feels quite well run but also with a personal touch. Each room has its own bathroom but on the other side of a hallway and not en suite. This works remarkably well and probably made the transformation of the apartment to B&B much easier. It also means that the rooms are bigger and more harmonious than they would otherwise have been. I used it for a conference trip largely because most hotels had been booked. Arguably, it is a place better suited to tourists, but I really enjoyed the spacious room and the very good breakfast despite the fact that the room was probably intended for a couple on vacation. The host is very pleasant and was happy to chat or help. Finally, the location seems perfect for Genoa. It is very close to Piazza de Ferrari.

Nosotros llegamos por la tarde 7:30 pm (Solo una noche) lo que nos complico el Check In, se me hizo muy complicado de entender las indicaciones que nos dieron para el auto Check In, por lo que fue un poco difícil, pero una vez ingresado todo fue super excelente La chica de los desayunos (Una chica Venezolana) super amable. El baño genial pero esta separado de la habitación es solo un detalle a considerar pero todo muy bonito.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Consigliatissimo! Posizione centrale, ben collegata, alcune fra le maggiori mete della città si raggiungono facilmente a piedi. Il b&b si trova in un bellissimo e tranquillo edificio storico nel contesto di una piazzetta incantevole. La nostra camera era dotata di tutto il necessario e arredata in modo elegante ed essenziale. Attorno c'é un'ampia scelta di ottime soluzioni per pranzo, aperitivo e cena, alcune con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Chi gestisce il posto é molto gentile e superdisponibile. Insomma una bella esperienza

• Kerrey (6/5): Great Location but Building Management a let down! - Instructions to find location were great=however where in building, how to get in etc was not detailed enough. Although we advised of our arrival time-no one there and had to wait 10 mins for someone to arrive to check us in/give us access. We got into room and naturally with it being 35 degrees out-we put on air conditioning. We left for an hour and a half and upon our return got a note "inside our room" saying we had left it on, now it was leaking and we could now not use it at all. How does running it for 1.5 hours regardless of if we were there or not mean "we broke it". We called the contact for the site and got no answer and as such got no additional room with air-which is what we paid for! Also keeping windows open is a concern as it is noisy and there are mosquitoes (plus it was very hot out!). The location is perfect for all you need, facility was very clean and outside of the issue with air was well appointed. However, not having standard check in is an issue and naturally not being available when there are issues with the facility is also a huge caution! NOTE: although taxi's know where the Piazza is, it is very small roads and hard to get there. The day we arrived was a festival so they couldn't take us to it and pulling cases on these cobble stone roads is hard to do. On pick up, taxi did get in but got into a massive fight with 3 other vehicles who were not please having to wait while we loaded our luggage in the trunk!
• 399louiser (10/5): Lovely - What a nice place. Centrally located, sparklingly clean, friendly host and excellent breakfast. We stayed for two days and as we had to leave early on the second day Elena, our host, gave us some tea bags, a kettle, milk, cake and fruit so that we could have something to eat/drink in our room before we left. The room was clean and spacious and although the shower and toilet were across the corridor, this was not a problem as it was exclusive to our accommodation. All in all a brilliant place to stay.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, lovely proprietor and the best breakfast I think I have ever had , even better than in top hotels where I have stayed in the past.. Couldn't recommend it more highly and would definitely stay there again. Top marks!
• Verified traveler (2/5): - Extremely disappointed. Awful customer service, I would not recommend to anybody. I booked this hotel through Expedia, however the correct date was not selected. I immediately called Expedia to correct the mistake, however they were unable to help initially. After hours on the phone and much confusion, the hotel owner was unwilling to refund my booking - despite me already booking for the correct dates as well. Further, based on their check-in cut off time, I could not have even checked in for the reservation that was made in error. Needless to say, I cancelled my future stay and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - The main value of this property to us as visitors to Genova turned out to be its location. Located in the centre of Genova within easy walking distance to all primary sights in the city and many restaurants. The metro station to connect to points further outside was a block away. We had confirmed our arrival date and time as requested, but on arrival still had to call and wait for some time for someone to come to check us in. It was a good thing that the taxi driver from the airport was able to drive us to the door and come with us into the apartment house to assist in finding the place. When the receptionist finally arrived the welcoming was brief and cursory. The ‘apartment’ was clean and adequate for short stays. However, the stove did not work and there was no other appliance to even make a coffee in the morning. The bed was comfortable. Overall, would not chose to stay there again.
• natasha2105 (10/5): They respect the quests! - Location can not be better. Owner of hotel Elena is very nice and give you a lot of tips what to do and what to see. For me this Genoa city ist MUST SEE! Love it. Hotel clean and special. Toilet not in the room, kind of across room, but this is not a big deal. Breakfast if just nice. Not a lot of food, but special and enough. For couple of days worse this money.
• TedBrown (10/5): Outstanding Hospitality and Clean, Attractive B&B! - We booked this B&B via Hotels.com upon our mid-day arrival on a Friday at Genoa Piazza Principe train station, and enjoyed a leisure stroll through the historic center until we reached La Piazzetta Rooms around 4:00 p.m. The main door was locked, but a telephone number and free Wi-Fi passcode were clearly displayed on the door. This was very fortunate because our only way to call was using our iPad with just Wi-Fi. We were informed there was a mixup in our reservation, but someone would meet us at La Piazzetta Rooms in 20 minutes to rectify the situation. When the owners arrived they explained that La Piazzetta Rooms was fully booked long before the weekend, but Hotels.com (Expedia) neglected to update their database and should not have allowed us to book a room. Marco and Inna were very apologetic and assured us they could find a room at another B&B around the corner at no additional cost. While Marco made the arrangements, Inna graciously invited us to the breakfast room where she served us expresso and cookies. This gave us an opportunity to view their beautiful B&B, which was very clean, attractive, and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed a delightful chat with Marco and Inna, who are very friendly and personable, and they walked us to the other B&B and pointed out local history along the way. They remained with us while we checked in to make sure we were satisfied. We look forward to experiencing a delightful stay and hospitality at La Piazzetta Rooms next time we visit Genoa!
• Larry (8/5): - This is a B&B in a very old building, with thougtfullu decorated rooms. Rooms have privat baths, but each is actoss a hallway. We knew this hoing in, so it was OL, but a bit odd.

• Gilly (10/5): Fabulous find in the Centre of Genoa - Couldn't have found anywhere more handy and accessible to everything, Metro, buses including the airport bus, restuarants and shops. Absolutely great find. Breakfasts' were delicious and beds incredibly comfortable.

• pomme2011 (10/5): Lovely place - Stayed here for 3 nights,the room was lovely and clean and spacious.The bathroom was adjacent to our room and again a good size with lots of towels.The breakfast was an array of food and delicious. The apartment was very central,we had a little trouble trying to find it at first but when asked someone we found it straight away. Lots of cafes,restaurants around the area for lunch/evening meal.I would definitely recommend La Piazzetta rooms.
• Graham (10/5): Two night stay prior to our cruise - Really nice accommodation in the centre of town. Perfect breakfast to start the day and can’t wait to visit again.
• Elisablue (8/5): Great facilities, minimalist & stylish- centre of town - Great location for a city break. In the middle of the town next to several piazzas and 10 min walk to the port- acquarium and lots of restaurants. Only negative is that you can hear the noise of the bars/ festivals and rubbish collection early in the morning- but you would expect that. Main issue for room 1, there is no fan or air conditioning- very hot so had to leave window open- hence noise. Make sure you bring mosquito repellent too. Staff very helpful and friendly. Take note of check in time as we arrived in the afternoon as paperwork stated ‘from’ 2pm. Error in English translation as the desk is not staffed all day, it is ‘up to’ 2pm I believe. However they kindly came to greet us about 15 min later. Breakfast excellent quality- croissants, ham, cereals- nicest I have had in Genoa and this is our 3rd Hotel travelling. Morning staff are also lovely - speak very good English. She helped us with queries to the airport. They also allow you to leave your suitcases at the Hotel on day of departure and give you a key to collect your bags at anytime. Very helpful as we do not need to leave for the airport till 5pm. Would definitely recommend the place.
• LGSnowy (10/5): Fantastic location - We stayed here for 4 nights, myself and my husband for a few days in a wonderful city. Genoa is amazing to visit, cheap to eat and drink and this bed and breakfast is in the perfect location to visit all the sites. The room was lovely, as was the bathroom, really clean and they gave us fresh towels every day, take an iron if you need one as they don't but they have a hairdryer for you. The breakfast is continental, different every day, really nice. The staff are very helpful, they booked us tables for our dinner, told us where to visit, how to get there etc. Really good value for money, would definitely stay again.

Certainly contains all the old world charm you could ask for. Just a small nit - Contrary to what the website says, we were told no breakfast would be provided - not a big deal.

• Samjr1388 (10/5): Perfect location - We were very pleased to have booked this place. Quiet location, only a few rooms, perfectly located for the main town. The hosts were very informative about Genoa and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms are very big and the bathroom is private but not ensuite. If like us you prefer small intimate places rather than big chain hotels then this place is for you. A great place to spend a lovely weekend!
• cl_loertscher (10/5): Outstanding location and agreeable place - Just a few steps away from the central Plazza de Ferrari, located in a very quiet and delicious small place, this B&B offers what is most convenient if you wish to visit the center of Genova ! And prices are very modest when considering the quality and originality of the furniture (excellent mattresses), the abundance of the breakfast and the kindness of both the owners. We certainly will come back to discover some more of this very original and interesting city.
• DivaGoldCoast (8/5): Charming - A stunningly renovated complex with olde world charm with modern touches. We really loved our stay here as all the staff went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. We had 2 rooms each decorated with touches of old Italy with the luxury of the new world. We shared a bathroom across the hall with our daughter which gave us an authentic old world experience. Breakfast was adequate, yogurt, pastries, good coffee, juice etc in a communal room which gave us the chance to swap travel stories with each other. One minor gripe ... not the hotels fault but there is a lot of activity at night..... didn't bother me as I am very active but for s big sleeper might be a problem. I would definitely stay again

• V7817ZVmartinr (4/5): Good B&B however no breakfast as promised. - First of all I want to say that the location of the place is very good situated in the middle of Genua close to the historical part and shopping. The rooms are spacious and clean and the bed was ok. However according to our booking we had breakfast included but there was none to be found in the morning. After posting a truthful but rather harsh review as we were quite irritated we were contact by the owner Marco several times by calls, sms and whatsapp messages in order to have us to remove the review. We were offered compensation for the non existing breakfast which we have not accepted, however that was after posting the bad review, before posting the owner did not contact us at all or offered us any type of compensation or excuse for the non existing breakfast. The first review was removed and this one posted instead and hopefully it gives a more nuanced picture of the B&B.
• Cindy (10/5): - B&B in a good location - central to getting around the city. Room was spacious and clean - beds were very comfortable - only complaint was that the bathroom for the 'family' room was the smallest of the bathrooms and shower did not drain well. Breakfast was excellent. Would recommend.

• Bartvdb81 (10/5): Great stay in Genova - We spend a long weekend in Genova, staying in La Piazzetta Rooms. A great B&B on a perfect location in the historical center. The room and bathroom were spacious and well-equiped and very clean. Breakfast was super, lots of variety and great tastes.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Close to main Piazza - Was a great place to stay Marco and Inna were lovely. Breakfast was fantastic, bed comfortable and bathroom although across hallway was as well. Position of B & B is excellent right in old town area and 20 metres to Piazza Ferrari main square where you find exclusive shops, bus stop and Metro. Bus 35 takes you to the train station. Many restaurants were walking distance east of the square was the best area. Loved our stay, Inna even gave us a breakfast bag as we had to leave early in the morning. Pod coffee was available all the time for your convenience.
