- Joachim (8/5): Absolut zu empfehlen - Das Hotel liegt direkt am Missouri River. Es war herrlich ruhig im Zimmer, obwohl das Hotel gerade renoviert wird. Auch sehr schön, dass es zum Frühstück nicht nur Süßes gab. Außer dem Umbau, von dem wir wussten, gab es nichts, was negativ gewesen wäre.

The bar/restaurant was closed. Not mentioned on the website. Had to drive to another place nearby. First encounter with staff at front counter was him with his feet up on the desk on his phone. Acted bothered. Hardly anything in the "store". Room was fairly nice and clean, but the toilet wouldn't flush, valve was sticking. Forced it myself. Worst part was no breakfast in the morning. "Breakfast lady is running late". Pretty expensive for the lack of amenities.

Pierre and this is probably the best due to subtle differences. Staff are excellent. Got a room right on the Missouri River which was nice. Parking is no problem and there were nice outdoor seating and gathering areas. Breakfast was standard hotel fare. Rooms are comfortable but sparse. One chair at the desk. Plenty of outlets. Microwave, Fridge and Keurig style Coffeemaker in room. First hotel I have stayed at that offered Stevia sweetener.

There were chocolate chip cookies and ice water available after check in. The Lobby was beautiful, pool accessible till late, and a menu for the next day’s breakfast. Our room had been freshly cleaned by Taleea. The bed was so comfortable with fluffed pillows. There was a full bathroom plus a sink outside the bathroom which was really nice for doing makeup and hair while the bathroom was being used. Staff offered great suggestions for our afternoon tourism as well as dining options we enjoyed. The breakfast was really good. This hotel has won awards the last 4 years and is working hard for a fifth year. I wish all the Americinn hotels would use this as their standard!

- RANDY (10/5): - A welcome cleans, modern property after a day of sight seeing! Amazing water pressure un the shower. Breakfast had something for everyone.
- Joseph (6/5): - Room smelled like a party had happened in it. Otherwise the place is great. Price was good and staff were very nice and competent.
- Debra (10/5): - I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the hotel was, very inviting. The staff is exceptionally friendly, with hellos and have a good day greetings. I would stay here again without a doubt.
- Jaime William (6/5): 1st Stay at AmericInn - This was my first stay at an AmericInn brand hotel, and I am unlikely to stay at one again in the future. It is a budget brand, and it worked for one night. The stained desk chair was a turn-off.

- Sean (10/5): Fort Pierre gem - 2-night stay. Great location! Room & bed were very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Price very fair for property. Room is slightly dated: hot tub in some rooms, but not working due to parts; remodel to start. The location is wonderful, on a wide part of the Missouri River. Many river-facing rooms have balconies to sit and relax. HVAC in my room worked well: quiet and efficient. Several nearby restaurants of varying budgets; Drifters was recommended and excellent! The hair dryer is a small handheld, wall mounted unit and my only negative comment.

- Joann (10/5): - Were lucky to get a riverside room which also had a patio (balcony on upper floors). Great view. Room was large, even had hot tub which we didn't have time to use. Bed was great. Breakfast was standard hot breakfast buffet. Yes, i would stay again if in the area.
- MARY (8/5): - The location on the river was beautiful. The food could have been better. The restaurant next door excellent. The room was very nice but the furniture was old and spotted. Need updating. Personnel at the desk very friendly and helpful. Parking very convenient and location near the capital very good.
- barnabasman (10/5): Outstanding, exceptionally clean, stellar Staff - We found we were greeted upon arrival with friendliness, kindness, exceptional clean & neatness. The welcome cookie made us welcome ! The desk staff answered our questions & the location on the Missouri River was dreamy. Our breakfast met our needs , the coffee was good, our room provided the rest we needed , clean and safe.

Beautiful location on the river, great customer service, very clean and comfy rooms, nice & clean pool and hot tub area, great (free) morning breakfast options. No complaints at all, I was very impressed with the quality and value.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Lack of Hospitality to Indigenous Guests - My family and I had an unpleasant experience during the continental breakfast. We were the only Indigenous family in the space and noticeably the only group that was not greeted. When I said “good morning” to a staff member named Bill, I was ignored, even as he made a point to warmly greet other non-BIPOC guests. This left us feeling singled out and unwelcome.
- Jaimie L. (10/5): - I have stayed here before and chose this AmericInn this time because I knew it would be clean and affordable. This is one of the best hotels in the Pierre area. The staff is great, too.

- Timothy (10/5): - The hotel was just what we were looking for, quiet, right on the river with a balcony overlooking it. It was a nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay. Fully recommend!
- RoadGuys2 (8/5): Real nice - Real nice . . . At a price. So it WAS on a Saturday night and our river view room was $200. Our two-bed room felt cramped with basically two beds, a desk and office chair. Still comfortable, just a bit cramped. Staff was great. This property has a lot going on; pool, outside sitting area with fire places, bar and restaurant and likely other things I overlooked. Not the BEST value but not real bad considering a Saturday and all they have to offer. We could have got our money's worth if we had gotten there earlier.
- Keith (10/5): Nite of rest - Nice quiet restful evening. Quiet part of town rite by the River. Pool was excellent but hot tub was warm not hot. Breakfast was awesome. Lots to choose from and stocked up.
