Guest Reviews
- Bryan (10/5): 5 Star B&B - We can't say enough good things about this B&B. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the rooms were cozy and quaint. Fireplace use is amazing and the rooms were very large. Our room had a bathroom that was disconnected (read the fine print) but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast in the morning was FANTASTIC!!
- Cathy (10/5): Cozy beautiful property with plenty of spaces to relax - Comfortable well furnished room with fireplace and balcony. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Snacks and coffee, tea, filtered water available 24/7.
- Kenichi (10/5): Fantastic long weekend - My wife and I had a terrific long weekend staying at the inn. The room and the inn were charming, and was conveniently located within walking distance to many of the top sites in the city. We particularly enjoyed the terrific breakfast and the evening happy hour. There are very few hotels where you can get to know your fellow guests and we had some really fun conversations with them. We definitely come back again next time we are in Santa Fe.

A former party house that saw the likes of Ansel Adams, DH Lawrence, Willa Cather, Georgia O'Keeffe among many others. Quirky yet refined, walking distance to downtown and the Roundhouse, sociable or meditative if desired. Beds and furnishings soo comfortable. It is an adventure you'll remember.. Hi Alex,Dan, Sherry - thanks for a wonderful stay!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Alex and Dan were wonderful hosts! The breakfasts were very, very good and we really enjoyed getting to meet other guests during breakfast and again in the evening when wine was available in the living room. The grounds were absolutely beautiful although we didn't get to spend a lot of time outside since it was unusually chilly this time of year. But we're planning on coming back when it's warmer. We really had a great time and are looking forward to our next stay!

From the moment we arrived, Alex was friendly and helpful in making sure we enjoyed our stay. He provided lots of information on the area and recommended a great restaurant! Loved the landscaped grounds, the peaceful location, and the decorations in the room. Wine was provided in the evening... so there's that :-) Breakfast was hearty and fantastic. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to the Santa Fe area.
- Steven (10/5): An Oasis In The City - Dan and Alex are great hosts and make delicious breakfasts with plenty of options each morning. Their location is great for walking down to the plaza (about 15 minute walk) and yet far enough from the hustle and bustle to make sitting out in one of their many relaxing locations fun. Our room was very clean and comfortable with free wifi, water bottles, as well as coffee, tea, and baked goods available in the dining area during the day and evenings.

Beautiful, historic, and well-appointed, it is a short walk to the main Plaza: shops, restaurants, and galleries. Owner Dan and Manager Alex take good care of you, and really help with things to see, places not to be missed. Breakfasts are top-notch, with local New Mexico flare and flavor. If you want to experience New Mexico, specifically Santa Fe at its finest, treat yourself to the Inn of the Turquoise Bear!

It was the best experience ever and I will definitely not only return here but try more bed and breakfast in other places I visit. Let me say the home itself is just magical! I love historic homes and appreciate the great condition it is in and I loved feeling like I lived there. Breakfast was the highlight of our stay. Delicious food paired with great conversation was a perfect start to the day. The waffles and sausage were tasty and unique. Our fellow guests hailed from around the globe and had plenty of intriguing stories to share.

Absolutely recommend, one of the best places we've stayed, and we've traveled all over the world.
- Shirley (10/5): - It was a good location. Breakfast was outstanding, Service and staff were great.
- MacKenzie (10/5): - We visited for a small getaway on our 1st wedding anniversary. The hotel is a historic building and is absolutely stunning. The gentleman that greeted us was very helpful and nice. He showed us to our room and made sure we knew where everything was located. There were treats and wine in the evening and a wonderful breakfast served in the morning. The hotel is old, but don't let that fool you, It was very quiet and comfortable and you could listen to all the sounds of the mountain. Amazing stay!!!
- nate (10/5): santa fe great - wonderful staff and service. the inn, architecture, fixtures, and grounds are true to new mexico (this is coming from a native new Mexican). I recommend highly the inn for anyone wanting a feel for classic santa fe new mexico. close to the plaza and all the sites of santa fe, yet quiet and secluded to relax and enjoy the day. I look forward to another stay at the inn of the turquoise bear.
- RC (10/5): Newlyweds - The room was great, the inn keeper is ordained, and performed the ceremony. The breakfasts were amazing!!
- road2go (10/5): I real find - True Southern hospitality in a Southwest setting. I hated to leave. A home away from home thanks
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great B&B with a horrible bed - The owners and staff were great and they truly wanted everyone's stay to be memorable. The wonderful, historic building had lots of charm and was meticulously maintained. The breakfast was nice; the wine and assorted cheeses at 6pm were very nice. OUR BED WAS HORRIBLE!! Neither my wife or I got a much rest because the bed was completely broken down and we both spent the night crawling out of the deep well in the middle. Our bed must be the exception because we met other guests that had stayed at this B&B many times and obviously loved it.
