- JORGE (10/5): - We stayed at The Sandpiper from Tuesday to Monday and had a truly phenomenal time. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful and peaceful — the perfect place to relax. What really stood out was the service: everyone on the staff was incredibly kind and attentive. Any time we needed something, they were quick to help, and even if it wasn’t readily available, they found a way to assist. Overall, a wonderful stay and an excellent experience. We hope to return!

- Kelly (10/5): - This was our 1st time at The SandPiper and everything about our experience was exceptional from the time we arrived until we left. No delay in being taken to our room, our luggage already waiting allowing us to get settled in. The entire place was clean and tidy. The staff takes a lot of pride in the hotel. We had a garden view room and we loved having a cup of coffee on the deck each morning. The breakfast was amazing as well as our beautifully presented meals. Given the resort is on the west side of the island, the view of the sunsets each night was amazing. We ate dinner in the restaurant and had bar food a couple of times during our stay, both were great. We had a wonderful stay at The SandPiper and we'd definitely recommend. A perfect stay.

Lovely staff, good food and well furnished large rooms in a traditional Barbados style. I stayed there for a work trip but it is a great base for a holiday. I will return

It’s great to have them all back after 6 months of closure! They also arranged my fast track at the airport, transportation and my Covid test which came back in 20 hours meaning quarantine was a short process!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Th resort was absolutely wonderful - the food was outstanding and the staff was beyond nice and helpful! There are a few things for consideration - the hotel could do a better job giving information and options on activities to do - boat tours, snorkeling, hikes, spa treatments at the sister hotel etc. As someone who doesn't know what the island has to offer, you rely on the staff to help guide you. The other thing, which is sort of out of the hotel's control is the presence of children. Since the property is small and you will either lounge at the pool or beach, if they are in both places, it's hard to escape their noise etc.

- Charles (10/5): Sandpiper is Great! - Nice hotel, clean and excellent service. High prices for food at the hotel and a taxi to other locations like Bridgetown. Will cost you about $55 USD roundtrip. The other option is to take the bus with the locals but being first time in Barbados, we werent sure about taking the bus and not knowing where we were going. Overall felt safe during our stay. Nice people! Recommend Sandpiper, in a good location, if you can afford it .

- MARINA (10/5): Superb resort! - We just came back from this wonderful place. We have been to Barbados many times before and stayed in various hotels and resorts. This is by far the best place we have ever stayed at- terrific experience!! beautiful sea-side property with testefully decorated rooms and great beach. Staff are courteous, non-intrusive but attentive- they go above and beyond to insure their guests are happy and taken care of. This hotel is well-situated and is within short walking distance to Limegrove and to a supermarket. There is no doubt we will be back and will refer our friends and family to this wonderful property.

Right from the 'non check-in' arrival where a manager simply walks you through the resort to your room and asks you to complete the paperwork at your convenience to as we left where it was like leaving a family. We are fortunate enough to travel to many beautiful places so not easily impressed, but we absolutely loved this place. Loved the food, location and staff. The rooms were fabulous and so clean. Great to either eat in or take a short walk to the nearby restaurants. Thoroughly recommend for couples out of school holidays and also to families at holiday times.
- Jai (8/5): Disappointing experience.... - Disappointing experience. The hotel looks like a dated English style country club - small and boutique yes, but the design is poor. Even though the hotel was not full, we got a room right at the rear of the hotel, which just happens to be near the main road. This meant we got little peace due to the road noise and services also located there. Not quite what we wanted from a Caribbean experience. Food orders at the beach bar took very long to organise, however the cocktails were amazing. Dinner was actually quite prompt and the food was great. The hotel is nothing special in terms of design. I’m sure there are better hotels on the island, especially for the rates they are asking.

- Chloe (10/5): A real 5 stars experience - Very charming and quiet hotel perfect to get some rest. Both pools are very well maintained and there’s always chairs available. Beach is clean ! The staff is professional, fun, smiling. We went 2 times for dinner at the hotel restaurant and every item from the soup all the way to dessert were delicious. Live singers and musicians. I would not only recommend the hotel to my friends but I would also consider going back.

- Tom (10/5): Great hotel and wonderful staff - This is a great place to stay and the staff are very attentive. If I had to criticize one aspect, it would be that the restaurant is a bit on the pricy side. Expect $100-$125/per person to eat there...more if ordering alcohol. Still, the food was good, and the restaurant nearly always has live entertainment as well. Rooms were spotlessly clean and well decorated. The beach and pools are wonderful!
- Donna (4/5): Disappointing and overpriced hotel - Suite 7 wasn't worth the money we paid. The view from the balcony was of the restaurant! No sea anywhere. Morning alarm call was the clanking of plates laid for breakfast at 6am and no chance of an early night as the rostrum used for the evenings entertainment was right under our bedroom window so a range of caterwauling songsters serenaded us every night until 10:30pm and no escape! I suppose is was good to be woken so early as you had to be on the beach by 6:30am if you wanted a sunbed in the sun! Not good enough for a 5 star hotel at all. Neither of the two swimming pools were anywhere near the sea and one had sun beds in the shade all day. On the plus side Harolds Bar was a nice spot for lunch, if you could get a table! And the staff were courteous and helpful.
