We drove in at night and it was a little deceptive but only because it was dark.
- Debbie (9/5): Highly recommended! - The upgraded rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable. The included breakfast was plentiful delicious. Excellent additional touches like the blankets for the fire pit. The marquee sign is an eyesore on this otherwise well-maintained and modernized motel. (And does not affect the quality of the stay.)
- Mary (10/5): It was a nice break on a long drive. - It was so clean. Even their chair was vacuumed. The breakfast was a nice upgrade. We found it fine using GPS, but got lost trying to find our way to a gas station on our way out. There is a chevron station across the street but they didn’t have a price.

- LayWilson (9/5): Comfy, well priced, a complete stay - both lodging and breakfast. Good for a multi-night stay. - Room was comfortable, no carpet (okay by us). Glad to have non-feather pillows. Enough covers, A/C worked, but was a little loud. Had a noisy neighbor who settled by midnight. It was rainy - the overhang, front in parking and the entry on a short hall were all nice. Breakfast is a standout! Eggs, bacon, toast/bagel(several kinds)/cinnamon rolls(real) - also oatmeal, cereal and yogurt, 1/2 pint milk, cream cheese, string cheese, boiled eggs and juices (cans of v-8!), Coffee is good! The staff are very helpful, friendly - will answer questions. Not a fancy room, but really good breakfast. floor mat in room for wet shoes would be handy.

- Naaman (8/5): After hours check-in - We don't like the after hours check-in process. Our room key was placed in an open box (no lock) along with another guest's key. Now we support the honor system, but that's not how the real world works. Those keys could have been taken by anyone, resulting in emergency calls to staff, police statements, etc. We recommend lock boxes with codes. Then staff could provide the codes to late check-in guest.
- Jessie (8/5): - Toen ik de buitenkant zag, was ik een beetje sceptisch, maar het viel me alles mee. Prima locatie voor wanneer je op doorreis bent en de kamer was schoon en comfortabel. Bezoek vooral de boekenwinkel en de brouwerij in Baker City en veel mogelijkheden om mooi te wandelen.

- Renée (9/5): Excellent value, friendly staff, and super comfy and clean - The renovation was done beautifully. They offered really nice things in their continental breakfast, and the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom sink was very, very small and there was really no place to put your toiletries. Most importantly, though the sink in the bathroom had two separate handles and the hot water was scolding hot. I feel nervous about a child just turning it on.

They were a breath of fresh air.The staff could give lessons on what customer service is. We cannot think of anything they could do better. There was nothing we didn't like.

- Essary (10/5): - The staff was so friendly and helpful. We were traveling with 2 dogs and they couldn't have been more accommodating. It is definitely pet friendly. Just a wonderful stop. Wish we could have stayed longer. That we couldn't have stayed longer.

- Karen (10/5): Great little gem in the heart of downtown! Will stay again! - Liked the downtown location. Walking to restaurants and shops - Bella’s is fabulous! Nice updated room with easy access to car. Vintage motor lodge with great amenities. Breakfast choices were wonderful. Nice staff!
- Everett (9/5): Much better than expected motel in downtown Baker City - Looks like an old fashioned Western motel, but it was so much nicer; modern, beautifully appointed and updated rooms. Nice comfortable bed, hot shower, pretty bathroom. Excellent breakfast, also not motel fare. Close to downtown. Running/ bike trail across the road. Parking at the room (of course).
- Renae (8/5): A nice value for a couple nights stay. - The three employees I interacted with were very friendly. There were nice areas in the bed room to place personal items and luggage. The bathroom was updated and the shower was nice and the mirror didn’t fog up after my shower. The value was great and the breakfast was very good! The bathroom was small. The toilet was right next to the wall and the bathroom sink was tiny. They did have a shelf on the wall that was little and I hogged it with a few of my things. My husband had to put his bathroom items in the bedroom area. The walls also seemed thin. I could hear a couples’ conversation a couple of times clearly throughout the night.

- Anne (9/5): Great value, clean, spacious and a pleasant surprise in Baker City! - It was clean and quiet and conveniently located to downtown and the highway. The room was more like an apartment with a separate living room with a nice big TV. The bed was comfortable and the whole apartment had been recently renovated. The breakfast was better than most chain hotels with quality brands of oatmeal and yogurt instead of the usual Quaker and yoplait. The hot offerings were fresh and tasty. Overall a pleasant surprise!
- Lea (10/5): Exceeded our expectations! - When I booked, I booked simply off of rating and reviews. As it turns out, this is a little diamond in the ruff! It should be named Bridge Street Boutique. Friendly staff. Super clean rooms. Spacious. Beautiful, upscale bathroom in the room AND a full breakfast in the morning! We will be going back for pleasure on our travels at another date- for certain.

I like being placed closer to the dog are, kinda with They shoveled it a bit to make it easier for the small pups to walk around. Breakfast is pretty simple, but they work hard to make it fast and keep it warm. I especially luke cinnamonbun days! Heater is a little loud. The room walls are also a little thin. I could hear my next door neighbor snoring. Not many issues.

I was on the road for 8 days and this was the best stay of all. Check-in was simple; hotel access and parking were super-easy; the room was clean, bright, and comfortable; and local tips, historical anecdotes and fascinating insights from knowledgeable staff made my stay extra-special. The clear attention to detail, consideration for guests, and care for the property speaks to local pride and the proprietor's investment in the community. The one-block walk into the fascinating town of Baker City and time spent at local establishments make me want to return and spend more time. I can't say enough about how wonderful my experience was, and such a great value as well. A breath of fresh air, charming and unique, Bridge Street Inn was just what I needed after a week of chain hotels and highway driving. I wouldn't change a thing! (I didn't see it until the morning, but I would have enjoyed a chance to sit by the fire pit. It wasn't on when I arrived at night, so I will have to come back to Bridge Street Inn when it's warm enough to light.)

Cinnamon rolls freshly baked, real scrambled eggs , real potatoes and most important the best coffee! I have never had coffee at a motel even 300$ a night ones than here! Watered down and doesnt taste like coffee, but here we had 2 cups! Not that I minded it but some new comforters on the bed. Just noticed it looked quite worn. Not a big deal for us.
