- Doris (3/5): You need more comfortable pillows and to make sure the room is ready for guests. - We liked the location and the desk receptionist was wonderful. Pillows uncomfortable. We had to go tho the office for towels and a shower curtain. Breakfast was ok. Another guest was eating a lot of the food. And he stood in the way of everyone while preparing his food in the toaster and microwave.

The toilet was loose from the flooring It was a king bed but was so far off the ground I was not able to sit on the edge and touch the floor. I am 6 feet tall. Handicap shower so had no real edge to stop water and curtain was too short. I believed the further I turned the shower know to the right the water would be hotter. Like it was engraved on the back plate. So I believed there was no hot water left and waited a hour until it occurred to me that by turning it on a little would get it hot and more turned it cold. Ass backwards Checked in at 1am and by 11;45 was told that I would be charged a late checkout fee at 1pm. I paid $146 for that!

The room was very clean, the property was quiet, and the location was perfect—just minutes from The Viking Experience attraction I was there to attend. Everything I needed was close by, which made the trip easy and stress-free. I would definitely stay here again.
- Gene (3/5): It sucked - There was no breakfast. I had to ask someone to make coffee. Was told no danish, then a staff member came walking out with danish. It said sausage or bacon and eggs, there was neither. The staff was useless. WELL NEVER STAY OR RECOMMEND THAT DAYS INN. EVERYTHING
- Renea (8/5): Spacious value for the money - The staff here were super friendly and helpful and the room (we had a suite) was quite spacious and comfortable. The kitchenette in the room included a large fridge/freezer and microwave and it was easy to keep food and drinks accessible. It was a good value for the money and will stay again. You can't always park right next to your room (just the design of the building) so be ready to carry your stuff. (Nothing wrong with this — just be aware.) We were missing the coffee maker in our room and I wish I had known (I often bring a travel coffee maker but the description said there was one available.) These are less "complaints" than a heads up for other travelers.

The cleaning crew should be ashamed - The bed was comfortable.The sheets were clean, what the room was dirty cobwebs, on the lamps, the floor wasn't vacuumed, the shower curtain had stains on the end of it, behind the toilet you could see all the dirty old and open Tube that connected to the wall. Mold in the corner of the tub. Walking outside up to the room those thin little rugs were dirty and nasty, crumbs, trash, even something that looked like poop was on the rug.So you know, no one comes and cleans it. The cleaning people are getting paid for nothing. The front desk lady was very nice.And when you walk in the front area was very clean, but where we had to walk to our room was very nasty. A lot of people lottering around late at night because when we got back from the funeral, that's what we saw. Made us a little nervous.So i'm not sure what type of hotel this actually is. Never stayed here before was my first time.And I'll never stay here again. I tried to select something that was close to the funeral location.And the pictures looked nice.But trust me, you'll be fooled when you get there. They need to put some money into it.And update things a lot of stuff is old and rusted. I one person who loves to give great reviews when it's deserved, but this definitely was not.
- Deborah (8/5): I think I’ll stay at the comfort Inn next time - I thought the hotel could’ve done much better for the breakfast even if you have children with you, they don’t drink coffee all the drink that was available was coffee or water The little oatmeal packs if you put them in the microwave with the little plastic bowls, they give you they shrink up that’s not healthy The rooms are nice and the ladies that clean them do a great job

- monkeydl364 (2/5): Terrible experience after and already terrible situation. - Just bad, windows and door seals have rotted away, below freezing air came through causing 3 of my 5 family to get nose bleeds, the weed people outside smoked got sucked through the seals and filled my room while my kids slept, and I asked to switched rooms and had the exact same issues. Dead bugs found in both rooms. I tried to clean much of it myself to try to stay on their good side and later work out a deal as I'm disabled and tried to ask for a lower rate given out crisis/homeless situation and we were refused. Not to mention the random bugs me and my wife c found on us, thank god they were NOT the bad kind.

- Harold (8/5): - The room I had was very roomy, to include the bathroom which had room for a side table if the inn wanted to put them in the bathroom. The room was clean, and the furniture was in good condition. I could tell this was once a Holiday Inn back in the 1970s with the pool in the center of the property and restaurant attached to the lobby. For an older property, this one is pretty well maintained.

Leaking toilet - water all over floor; broken night stand door - sticks out and has a dangerous corner; also dangerous -broken cement at entry; entire room has scratches and gouges all over furniture, tp holder is patched, not painted. This room should NOT be rented until repairs are done! It was really bad!! I’m very disappointed in your hotel.
- Herbert (6/5): - Was not pleased at all. The exterior in the room is not up to date. The commode rocks side ways when you sit on it. The room didn’t smell fresh. Loud music playing from car in the parking lot late at night. This area doesn’t look safe at all.
- Amy (6/5): - The hotel had very few guests even though there was a large event going on in town. The room was clean, bed actually much more comfortable than I expected it to be. Since there were so few guests I would have preferred to be able to park in front of our room on the first floor, rather than stay on the pool side on the second floor. I felt like we were the only people staying on that side of the hotel. The handle to the bathroom door was loose/broken. Overnight our toilet was leaking all over the floor, when I asked the front desk they blamed it on the rain, which made no sense. I requested a different room for the following night which they provided easily and gave us the room next door so our transition was very easy. Overall the stay was good, but the bathrooms could use some updating.

Our grandkids live here so we come to see them will find new accomodatio - Location Tried to get to our room and a big fat lady and her kids were setting on the steps and she said do I have to move. Loud cars going around in the parking lot all night. People just hanging over the balconies and smoking weed. The tv did not work, bathroom door would not close all the way. Went to breakfast at 8:30 not much there and counters were all dirty, syrup everywhere. There was one coffee cup left, no bowls for cereal. Few stale bagels. No cups for juice had to go eat at McDonalds. If you cannot keep breakfast full then dont have it..

- jessicapC7673AT (10/5): Pleasantly Surprised, Extremely Clean & Quiet - The pictures of this hotel online do NOT do it justice! The hotel is much nicer than it appeared in photos. Although the property is a bit older, our room was much nicer than I had anticipated with a modern look and was also very clean. The property was also extremely clean - so clean I specifically noticed it. The grounds are very well maintained, the pool area was very clean, the parking lots were free of trash, and the breakfast area and lobby were neat and orderly. Also, the property was surprisingly quiet for a hotel which I appreciated. I did not expect the property to have a fitness center or pool either, as well as laundry services. Only recommendation would be to add a more robust snack bar and soda machines or complimentary beverage station that is open all day.

The room smelled like smoke, we had to Febreze the entire room twice. The room next door was smoking, as soon as they started you could smell it.

- Brittany (3/5): Property needs some updating and deep cleaning. - While some of the updates to the property seemed to try to make it more modern, the Inn itself is old and somewhat run down. The walls, baseboards, and surfaces weren’t filthy, but they aren’t what I would consider “clean”. Also, we had 2 rooms and one of our rooms, the water smelled like sulfur so no one was able to brush their teeth or take a shower. We only ended up staying 1 out of our 2 nights booked.

I had an issue with loud people in another room late at night and I went to the owners and they quickly move me to another room without any hassle. A lot of the rooms face the pool and the lights are very bright out there. In it makes it difficult to sleep, even with the curtains closed. But it is probably good for security.

- Chantelle (4/5): - When we arrived at 8:30pm, there were police speaking to guests in their room as well as in the parking lot. When we parked, we were in the very back of the hotel where it was super dark, adjacent to woods. The stairs up to the second floor weren’t lit at all a pitch dark. Dozens of trash bags were just heaped at the top of the stairs. I went to unlock my room and the door was wide open, as were many others. The front desk girl was super nice and she moved us. “Breakfast” was a joke. Waffles, 2 cereals, some packaged muffins, stale bagels and 2 juices. To top it all off, I think I have bites on my legs.

- David (2/5): Do not lie to me about the rooms available - I do not like being lied to. When I checked in I asked for a first floor room because I had a lot of heavy stuff to lug. The receptionist made a deal of looking through the computer then insisted she had no first floor rooms. Saturday and Sunday morning on the way to the Horrid breakfast almost all of the first floor rooms were empty/Unoccupied. I do not know why she did this to me for certain but I have an idea. The bottom line is she lied to me and made my check in and check out miserable by carrying heavy luggage and equipment up and down stairs.
