Guest Reviews
- Henk (8/5): Ideal stopover place with good food in the Tamarisk restaurant - Nice and spacious room, very clean and some nice extras (water/drinks in the fridge and some snacks).
Food in the restaurant upstairs was very good and so convenient to have that option. Breakfast was delicious, lots of options. The walls aren't very much insulated so you do hear neighbors and sounds from the restaurant. Stuffy smell and it's not really an option to open the door as insects come in.
- Lisa (8/5): Overall, very nice. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. - We didn't stay for breakfast. The big black stink bug on my shirt in the morning!
- Heather (10/5): Unique hidden gem. - Fun, clean accommodations. Complimentary treats in the room was a nice touch after a long drive. Lovely view. The breakfast was great. There was no decaf coffee or tea options in room. The bed was ok but a little on the firmer side.
- Mark (10/5): The room was modern, clean, and well appointed. - The breakfast was excellent. N.A.
- Erin (8/5): Good place to stop on the road - Great breakfast.
- Jeff (10/5): Comfortable and nice - Very nice room and the food upstairs is fantastic It was nice
- Frank (9/5): Nice unique stay on a cross country trip. - It was right on the river and below a wonderful restaurant. The staff was polite and helpful, check in was seamless, and the bed was very comfortable. Shower was decent, bulk toiletries on the wall. Breakfast was in the restaurant….anything on the full menu and any coffee drink! ( great coffee shop!) The restaurant was very very good and portions were huge! Great staff. We will return on our next road trip.
Take the road north up along the river until it turns to gravel. About 9 miles. Then it’s some great walking through a beautiful canyon. Worth the side trip. The only issue was our room is right below the dining room. A little bit of thumping around. Done about 10:15 or so. Not obnoxious. And then set up about 7 am. It didn’t really affect us at all.
- Maria (10/5): -
- Carbajal (10/5): Hidden Gem of Green River - It was quiet and out of the way, it is under a restaurant so some noise was expected. But it was clean and the staff were all super friendly! Would go back again!
- Shawna (10/5): -
- Alex (10/5): - It was great!
- Nichol (9/5): It’s a must - Everything. The staff, especially Anna and the access to the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Also the little outdoor patio watching the sunset. That we couldn’t stay longer
- Susan (9/5): A true Oasis in rural Utah - The view outside the rooms along the river is special; rooms are modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean; breakfast in the Tamarisk Restaurant is a delicious highlight! -
- Joan (9/5): This is our third visit & we just love it. Very peaceful & comfortable stay with a fulfilling breakfast include - Having a place to sit, like home. The view is relaxing, private & peaceful. No comment
- Jennifer (10/5): Would like to stay again - The decor and layout of the Book Cliffs room was really nice. The shower area was also very comfortable. It was quiet considering the restaurant is upstairs. We did check in after the busy time of the restaurant so in the morning we could hear a few footsteps upstairs. The fact the breakfast- a full breakfast (any breakfast menu item) and coffee drink from upstairs was included in the cost made this a really good deal. (This means it was not a typical breakfast buffet but a hot meal, menu item of choice from the restaurant menu.) See our video tour of the room- https://youtube.com/shorts/_BWawG9bIwg Can't say that I didn't like anything. The bed was very comfortable. From the photos online it was hard to tell how big the bed was. It did fit two of us, but a bit smaller than the queen bed we have at home. The bed was very comfortable.
- Allan (10/5): - Secluded
- Kim (10/5): Room with a river view - I appreciated the breakfast included with my stay. Coffee was great too. This isn't my first time staying here and I'm very happy to see they have maintained the property so well.
- Brian (10/5): -
- Marney (9/5): It’s wonderful to stay at a place that has its own unique charm. - Quiet, clean and very comfortable. Nothing
- armandocappello (9/5): -
- Wrightington (10/5): - Great value, wonderfully designed room and beautiful view.
- Craig (10/5): Awesome guestrooms! - Beautifully decorated rooms Nothing
- John (9/5): Satisfying stay. - Friendly staff. Good local restaurant. Large room with fine outlook.
- William (10/5): Incredible surprise! - Such a unique property. Never expected to have such a great experience on our last night in Utah. We had already checked off all our must see parks and attractions and were just stopping over before flight in SLC.
Tamarisk, the restaurant above the rooms is great and they have some unique gift items. NA
- Mary (10/5): Great location, fantastic restaurant, and friendly staff. We'll be back! -
- Mary (10/5): - The room was perfect for our needs, the staff very helpful and breakfast WONDERFUL!
- Estelle (8/5): - We had a good stay at Skyfall guest room, located in a convenient place on the way to the National parks. The staff was very friendly and every little details was thought nicely. The room was nice and spacious too. The bera was definitely the highlight, the best one we had during our holidays! We had a little problem with insects, there was a gap between the door and the outside and all kind of insects started to crawl inside from the outside. We ended up placing a towel to “seal” the entrance and it worked overnight.
- Ann (10/5): -
- Guy (10/5): - A cute “interim” stop for a longish road trip that served our needs completely. The attached restaurant serves a full breakfast, and the rooms are modern, clean and inviting. Recommended stop.
- Werner (9/5): -
- Stephanie (7/5): Nice stay and friendly staff - Bed and pillows extremely comfortable, breakfast was fantastic as well as drinks in the room provided Being underneath resteraunt not ideal.
- Shayping (8/5): - The bed is too small for two people
- Francisco (10/5): -
- john (8/5): - Facility is clean, restaurant is convenient, free breakfast is great.
The only complaint is that from 9:30 to 10:30 every night, they are closing down and cleaning the restaurant directly above the rooms. The noise was thunderous. We could hear people stomping around and what sounded like furniture being moved, aggressively moved. Just be aware that this will be happening every night.
- Helen (7/5): Fine for a roadside stop, good restaurant - Great location for a road trip passing through, easy access to the hotel from the highway. Pleasant location by the river with good parking. Good restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Good room size, decent bed and quiet night's stay. The bathroom shower gave no hot water despite waiting for many minutes and trying everything with the controls. When we reported this at breakfast the news was greeted with a shrug, like "yeah that's not new news". Not empathetic to a guest that had to take a cold shower and gave no indication the issue would be reported or fixed.
- James (8/5): - nice
- Mike (10/5): - Ok
- Kathleen (8/5): Enjoyed being right by the river! - A great local restaurant involved in the Skyfall Locating the room
- Valarie (10/5): Beautiful cozy place - Very nice cozy place. It’s a very few rooms which make so cool. And a full breakfast!
- Bruce (10/5): Quiet, private, beautiful, river-front location - Beautiful, river-front location Nothing
- Sherry (8/5): - The Hotel itself is a great option for travelers.
Their restaurant had very good food. Free breakfast was exceptional.
The city does not have a lot going for it.
Also be aware this is in Utah. You cannot order a drink without ordering food because of their stupid laws. It's not their fault. It is Utahs fault.
- William (9/5): - Great breakfast.
- Lorna (9/5): Met our expectations - Patio view and restaurant Ants outside by the patio
- William (9/5): - Beautiful setting and friendly staff.
- Julie (10/5): Amazingly Awesome! - Every thing was great and it was Nice and quiet . Beautifull room with free breakfast .. shower was cold did not even get warm.. but really not that big of a deal
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice little hotel. Rooms are clean, quant and right on the Green River. The included breakfast at the restaurant above was tasty. The staff was friendly.
- Nick (10/5): - In every way, one of the greatest places I’ve ever stayed.
- Kevin Thomas (10/5): - We have stayed here many times in the past and the rooms have never disappointed us. A very nice place to stay.
- Linda (10/5): - One of our favorite locations! On the river, full breakfast included, wonderful service. They packed us a breakfast to go since we had to leave early the second day. We love the connected Tamarisk Restaurant - family owned and wonderful!
- Joanne (10/5): I’ll be back! - Quiet, well appointed, very comfortable, easy access
- Robin (10/5): - Enjoyed sitting outside the room and watching the sunset over the river.
- Bruce (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rachel (10/5): - If you can do it, stay here. It's cute, comfy, clean, and modern. The breakfast & coffee make it a steal of a deal. The view of the river revitalizes the soul. And it's close enough to Goblin Valley. And if you get lucky, you can see some giant melons.
- Kelley (10/5): Gem in Green River! - This property far exceeded our expectations. Just needing a bed, shower and meal at the end of a long driving day we were very pleasantly surprised by our accommodations. There are only 3 rooms and they all sit, almost at river-level, with views across the expansive river of a stunning butte. The Tamarisk restaurant which sits above the rooms (yet no noise from overhead foot traffic) seems to be the best eatery in town. It is updated and stylish yet casual and the food was delicious. The real treat was our complimentary breakfast the next morning. We could choose from an extensive specialty coffee bar and complete breakfast menu. I would highly recommend the chilaquiles quesadilla with fried eggs. The servers and staff were warm and welcoming and seemed to truly enjoy and be proud of their establishment. Highly recommend if you ever find yourself needing a respite in Green River! Nothing
- Belinda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kari (9/5): Superb -
- Haley (10/5): - The view and room was amazing
- Dmitriy (10/5): - Accomodation is beautiful with a view on a river.
- Michal (10/5): Exceptional - The views, the spacious beautiful room.
The restaurant.
- CARLOS (4/5): - Property is vibrant. It’s a little confusing as a guest checking into the property. Waited for 20 minutes before being helped to check in. Upon checking out we left before the property opened. Contacted the property to notify them of our early check out and was treated very poorly by the lady who answered the phone. Customer service can certainly use a training. Everyone seems stressed out that works there. Which lends to an uncomfortable stay. Sadly we won’t be back as nice as the rooms are and the restaurant.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diane (8/5): Cute little hidden place - Food at restaurant was awesome
- Betsy (10/5): - Excellent experience. Service 6-stars good. Room was charming and bed was comfy. Just wish I had areived earlier in the day to enjoy the area. Food at tamarisk rest waa great and free breakfast was an amazing offer
- Marissa (10/5): - First time staying here, rooms are so nice and clean and cute! Loved being able to see the sit outside and watch the River.
- Hunter (10/5): Exceptional - Loved how all the rooms were different and funky down to the carpet matching the carpet all paint
- Rynae (10/5): - Friendly staff, convenient parking and dining.
- Mike (8/5): - The end unit is the best. The farthest to the left gets noisy because of the kitchen above it.
- Lynnell (8/5): Overall, nice place and good value. Would stay here again. - Great view and clean room. Noise from the restaurant above till around 10:30pm. Also, the cleaners came while we were at breakfast and before we checked out and threw away our food from the fridge.
- A (10/5): - Always a great experience staying at Skyfall.
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexis (10/5): Exceptional - Food was great. Place was cute and had everything. Loved the stocked fridge. Pillows.
- Jason (10/5): - Excellent place to stay! I will stay again!
- Seong Gu (10/5): - The view and breakfast is excellent
- Margaret (8/5): Very good - We had a hard time getting into the room. No instructions were sent and no one answered the phone.
- Carol (10/5): We WILL be back! - Good location, adorable, clean and comfy room. The free drinks and snacks were a rare treat. The breakfast was not only free, but outstanding. The front porch and the river view are the cherry on top. There is a little indentation in the mattress. The coffee maker is set on a shelf that’s too high for short people; same issue for hanging clothes.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Second time staying at Skyfall. Rooms are clean, staff is extremely friendly and helpful and breakfast is great. The cooked to order breakfast beats any of the hotel chains "hot" buffets. They have a large lot that can accommodate RV's and trailers. It is a great deal and we will definitely be coming back when travelling through the area. The only complaint is they need an up to date TV channel listing.
- Roberta (10/5): - We love the Skyfall Guestrooms, the complimentary breakfast is out of this world! The staff are the nicest people and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
- Shawn (10/5): - Very nice hotel with an awesome restaurant!
- Tyler (10/5): - This place is a hidden gem that we found nearly 3 years ago and have always made it a point to come back.
As long as it’s there, we will be visiting again.
- Holly (10/5): Beautiful Spot - We loved our stay at the hotel! Trudy was so nice at check in and so helpful. The room was nice & clean, with great view of the river. They offer so many little snacks & beverages as well. We will definitely stay there again.
- Colette (10/5): - We love staying at Skyfall. The room are incredibly comfortable and the staff is wonderful! We love eating at the Tamarisk as well. Thank you
- RICHARD (10/5): - A
- RICHARD (10/5): - A
- Chiara (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (7/5): Good - Being on the river. Hearing the kitchen prep and restaurant noises in my room. It was quite loud.
- Noel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- A (10/5): - Excellent accommodations! CheckIn/Out was easy and all the staff were friendly. The room was immaculately clean! Bed was comfortable and decor was fun with a featured art wall. There were tasty little welcome treats and othe touches that made the place feel so welcoming.
The guestrooms are conveniently located on the main street through town and right next to the river.
The complimentary breakfast at the Tamarisk Restaurant was the best hotel breakfast I have ever had.
I will definitely stay at The Skyfall if I am in Green River again.
- Ofra (6/5): I like the place to do their best to keep their promises - The view. It is amazing. They promised breakfast but provided some cold food during check in as breakfast. No proper table to eat in a couple, no hot water to make tea, coffee maker is a Jocke. The stairs to the room dangerous.
- Gerald (10/5): - Loved the sunset over the river, while dining
- James (10/5): - Great customer service
Cool room
Don't tell anyone
- Carrie (10/5): I don’t want to tell people about this gem bc then it will always be booked! - Everything! Cute room, great location, gorgeous view of the river, right near great restaurant and coffee shop. It’s perfect! Only 3 rooms so always hard to find availability
- John (10/5): - This is the second time I've stayed in these hotel. There are only 3 guestrooms that overlook the Green River. In fact, you can walk right down to the river. The rooms are extremely private with outdoor access. The best part is that these rooms are associated with a great restaurant with a diverse menu including various seafood dishes (yes in the middle of the desert!), and breakfast at the restaurant is included. You can order any entre and drink off the menu for breakfast. This is the best included hotel breakfast I have ever had. Highly recommend this hotel.
- Shannon (10/5): - Cute and comfortable. Easy check in. A nice assortment of free drinks and snacks. Quiet at night. Great free breakfast.
- X (10/5): Exceptional -
- Müller (9/5): Great location, amazing view of the river especially at sunset. Super convenient for passing through on the way to SLC. - Great location, amazing view of the river especially at sunset. Super convenient for passing through on the way to SLC.
- Judith (10/5): Great o’night stay. - Always a great experience here. It’s a good one night stay place as you travel. This is our 4th stay. The rooms are interesting in their decor. There are complimentary sodas, water, and snacks provided. The staff have always been friendly and helpful.
The Tamarack restaurant has a good reliable menu for dinner and usually breakfast is included in the cost of the night’s stay. We stayed the Sunday before Christmas and the Guestrooms and restaurant were closed from the Monday for the holidays. So we were given a more than adequate ‘substitute’ breakfast of a huge cinnamon roll, banana, hard boiled eggs, juice, yoghurt, and cream for coffee to be made in the room’s Keurig. We would definitely recommend a stay here if you are traveling along the I-70 in Utah.
- Armandocappello (8/5): Very good -
