- Mccauley (8/5): Pattaya at nine great location - Great location, very good parking and nice clean pool. Very polite staff. Hotel needs to upgrade TV from the old box (1990-2000) TV's to flat screen and it might make a better picture, old TV had blurry picture and can not read the screen.
Bed was very stiff, made for a hard night sleep. I was expecting a little more for 1400 bht per night.
- Chengkheang (8/5): Very good -
- Beecham (7/5): Good - It was a good place to stay the young couple where very good at there business and looked after us extra good a big thank you go's out to them. Position, clean, they are friendly people and nothing was to hard for them.
- Teena (2/5): Worst hotel - Hotel not as pictured. Rooms were shockingl. felt like we stayed in the Bangkok Hilton it was that bad. Would have been better in Fawlty Towers.slept on a towel on top of the bed as not comfortable getting into it. more to say but stayed in some dumps over the years but this one was bad. Our 4 travelling companions can verify
The Manageress was not what you would expect. get this hotel off the site
- Liam (2/5): On alert! Not worth the risk. Will stay at a hostel over this. - There was nothing to like about this property. It’s cheap, you get what you pay for. The rooms are very old and have terrible air-conditioning units.
The back of the doors have a warning saying that you must leave valuables at the front desk because they can’t ensure safety!
- Takeshi (4/5): - Next door is a building with a famous hotel, large boutiques, and a shopping mall.
There are transportation routes going both ways on both sides of the hotel, so transportation will not be an issue.
There is also a convenience store next door, so that will not be an issue.
Depending on the room, you may need to climb a spiral staircase to get to the first floor and upper floors, which can be very difficult if you are carrying a heavy bag.
Do not expect a view worse than Marco Riviera.
My room was in the parking lot.
However, the cost was cheap, so I will consider it a compromise.
If you are looking for a great hotel, I would recommend a hotel that is 5 to 10 times more expensive than this one.
This is a place for people who want to upgrade their hostel experience.
- david (10/5): Best value in Jomtien - Fantastic value for money with a pool
- Seba (4/5): was ok but wouldn't stay there again. - Great location, and staff was very friendly. Room needs an update, bed was very uncomfortable and shower had very little pressure and hardly any hot water.
- Lars (10/5): - Meget venligt personale .
- Samir (7/5): Good -
- Chettri (1/5): Not worth it to - Location The room was dirty with shabby lights. The blankets had holes and looked dirty. I even saw a dead cockroach in the bathroom. Everthing was old and worn out. Worst stay ever
- Karimi (1/5): It was the worse service with no AC, very warm and uncomfortable, really made me inconvenient - Nothing Facilities, AC, Bath service was so poor
- paul (6/5): good for sleeping swim not crowded BASIC - good place no frills in heart of central quiet street towered by central mall
- Verified traveler (10/5): Can always improve. - Loved the owner but the shape of the hotel is very old and smells bad from the toilets. Perhaps time to renovate? You also need to ask for the room cleaning......
- Suyada (6/5): - This was for New Year’s Eve, and the hotel was perfect location for beach, concert/party and bars
- Matthew (5/5): Passable -
- Ahmed (3/5): Poor - Location Cocotoaches in the toilet and window curtain unable to close so exposed to nearby .no privacy
- Bernard (4/5): - Very old building, poor service and dirty room.
- Bernard (2/5): - TRÈS SALE
- Cornelius (1/5): Bad -
- Robert (2/5): - I am surprised Expedia have this dump on their books, it is awful. The swimming pool area in particular is dreadful. 5 ancient wooden rotting sun beds with mismatched seats, the beds do not alter their tilt position. Filthy, cracked & broken tiles make the pool surround an ugly death trap.
The staff are often absent, leaving a mobile number to call if anything is needed.
The room hadn’t seen a lick of paint for years & the bathroom left a lot to be desired with an ancient dripping tap & very old shower issuing little water.
The toilet was clean & the bed comfortable.

- Ishikawa (4/5): -
- Livia (8/5): Very good - improvement abour information the staff could provide about public transport, activities in town, english🙂
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The staff are not helpful, money is all they seemed interested in
- Peter (8/5): Good location - Easy to navigate to what you wanted to do whether shop eat or drink or go to the beach
- M1240VQscottr (8/5): Comfortable and friendly - Hotel was clean and comfortable, even though rooms need a facelift.
Staff were friendly, welcoming and friendly.
Hotel was close to everything.
I enjoyed staying there.
Pool was clean and very welcome on a hot day.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Old hotel. Door looked like it was broken into previously. No safe in the room. Balcony view is of the mall across the street. I’d never stay there again
- Atienza1975 (2/5): VERY... VERY...VERY WORST HOTEL!!! - I cannot imagine this kind of hotel staff and their services, I stayed in this Hotel Pattaya At Nine last December 30, 2018 with my friend at around 9:00 in the evening, they charge us 2,100thb and 1,000thb for deposit. very expensive but we still pay because we want to rest, I ask also if they have special rate for Travel Agent and I want to inspect their hotel too but the man in the reception said is the same so I said ok, December 31 me and friend go together in the tour and we came back in the hotel at around 7pm, when we are resting 2 of the staff force to open our door without knocking or calling to our phone they just open and I said what happen they said we need to check out that time I said I want to continue until tomorrow and I'm willing to pay because in the first place we have deposit and the staff said cannot they are full, so I said ok just give us 30 minutes we will prepare and were going to check-out and after 10 minutes another staff open force again our door I said why? we are now preparing to check-out and they looking to me so bad and they talking very bad words in thai language. and when we already at the reception they just give to me a not proper receipt for my late check-out fee, I just want to share my experience to all the travelers around the world DO NOT STAY in this hotel they already use 3 different name The Groom hotel, The Green Hotel and now Pattaya At Nine, and I will bring my complaint to Thailand Tourism Office so that this kind of Hotel staff and Manager will know how to give good service to their Guest.
- colin (10/5): - Friendly staff very clean a oasis in the middle of a mad city
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good location!! - Easy to walk to the beach, walking street. 7-11 is located at the next hotel.
Central Plaza is right in front of hotel. Quiet street at night, good for sleeping.
Hotel is needed renovation, air-condition was too loud. You got what you paid.
Overall was good for me.
- zoneTrippr (6/5): BYO Drinking Water - This place was ok, you get what you pay for... only problem was when I ran out of drinking water in the middle of the night the old woman at reception told me there was no more, yet I could see crates of it in the next room. She wanted me to go out and buy my own but then happily accepted 40 THB for 2 small bottles! It's a basic necessity of life, so hot there and like anywhere else in SE Asia you can't drink the tap water - and no kettle in the room to boil some to drink later. Apart from that it's quite good for the price and the gentleman on reception in the day was very courteous.

- brett (8/5): needs update - A little outdated room needs update
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location but quiet. - Really like this hotel. Just near the bars and beach but because it faces the plaza shopping centre and with no bars in soi 9 it is the best of both worlds. Cleaner is lovely girl and other staff very helpful.
- devildog0800 (8/5): Not bad hotel near everuthing - Very centrally located, about ten minutes from walking street. Lots of bars etc nearby, police station o the same street. Wifi was fine, clean rooms free water in room. No fridge or safe. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that you needed your card to turn on a/c an therefore the room was a steam room when you came from outside and took 15 minutes to cool down aGain,
- ricwoo2008 (2/5): Terrible - Dirty shabby room. Only one lazy staff in sight. Very expensive for such an awful place. Guests wandering about at 9am looking for the inclusive breakfast- no where to be seen. Dirty pool. But good location.
- Martin M (6/5): Hotel - Good location close to all amenities bars restaurants and beach. Big modern shopping mall opposite. But a quiet road after midnight so easier for a good night's sleep. The Hotel does require some modernisation, no double glazing. A two minutes walk and you are at the heart of the action.
- lostinblackpool (2/5): Very disappointed in changes - Not the place it wa sit has changed management in the last 12 months and not for the best. The place looked down . We had booked for 14 nights and they were asking for the rest of the money after two night. The bar/restaurant were deserted and you could not charge anything to your room although it was very clean and tidy
- AlanL1275 (8/5): Green Hotel Pattaya - I have stayed there a few times. It has a great location, not far from Famous Walking Street and a very short walk to the beach. Next to the hotel is Central World Pattaya. The hotel has a nice pool, older clean rooms, bar, and breakfast. The parking is free if you are driving. Bang for the buck is very good.
- Chanuka_Trekker (8/5): Average Hotel at a good Location (7/10 Score) - POSITIVES – Very Close to the Pattaya walking street and to the beach. A lot of convenient shops/street shopping/clubs/pubs/food & etc available around the hotel.
NEGATIVES – There is no free Wi-Fi available and we had to pay THB50 per hour for using the Wi-Fi.
SUMMARY – Overall the hotel was okay for a short stay and they allow outside guests too (Girl friendly hotel)
DETAILS
I stayed for 3 nights in November 2014. The hotel is pretty old and has a pool and can be used FOC anytime.
It had two single beds, a dressing table, an open style wardrobe and a decent sized bathroom with modern fixtures. There was enough hot water and the shower worked well. The towels supplied – 2 large ones. Toiletries were provided including a toothbrushes and they were topped up enough. There was a modern medium sized flat screen TV with which you could receive a some English speaking channels.
Breakfast was not included.
The room was cleaned every day. I found the staff to be pleasant, friendly and helpful.
The hotel located close to the red light area of pattaya, a 10 minute walk to the walking street and a lot of fast food restaurants such as McDonalds/KFC, etc . Be aware that the street has a a lot of massage parlors & brothels along the street.
There was instant tea/coffee in the room and with free water supplied every day.
All in all I would give them 7 out of 10 and recommend the hotel for serious consideration. I would stay there again base on price and quality provision.
PS – I think Pattaya is an amazing City and can’t wait to return.
- Jeniliz13F (6/5): Green Park - other guests not friendly - Stayed at Green Park 19th June to 8th July 2014. First booked hotel room then upgraded to Bungalow. Bungalow frowsy/old/stained bathroom/low light. "Downgraded" to normal hotel room. no refund as they kept telling me but ok just wanted to get out of bungalow. good normal hotel room service good. Breakfast food never hot enough...just warm and not enough variety.
Pool very good, pool staff not over helpful. For me as an Australian sole traveller other guests who were mostly from a particular country could not even smile back. Unfriendly. Restaurant for dinner hardly patronised at all and food not as ordered heat wise..(burn .should not have eaten) .worst and smallest Martini I have ever had.
Daily water in glass bottles appreciated, very good.
Two small cafes opposite acceptable ..one of them best Penang curry ever.
Green Park Hotel Reception not air conditioned and very uncomfortable in 35 degree heat whilst waiting for tour/transfer pickups.
Pricewise? maybe not quite value when compared to others offered, but have not stayed at others yet. Location only fair.
Would not stay at Green Park again.
- 529andreb (6/5): ok hotel - This hotel is good in its way that is extremely cheap for Pattaya and is located very central just next to Pattaya's best shopping mall. The food here is lovely and the staff is vert friendly, its downfall is the thin walls, and the fact that its so old. Its the same quality as a formula 1 hotel, little bit worse, but still ok for its price. Another thing, the security is not the best, as one can come and go as you want no main doors with key card.
- AntonioGP_13 (8/5): Right in the middle of the action - Pattaya is a dark place. We used this hotel because we had an event to go to and we needed a nearby place to spend the night. For this it was perfect. Aircon rooms, kind of clean and right next to Central. The place is cheap but you don't really want to stay there too long. However, you could say this about the whole of Pattaya, as the beach is filthy and the atmosphere rather seedy. On the other hand, there are a few nice restaurants, some lively clubs and some decent shopping if you know where to go. A day tripper, really, unless you are a sex tourist. So if you want somewhere cheap and cheerful, don't mind a few mosquitos and you need somewhere to sleep safe in the knowledge that you'll checkout in the morning, stay in the Green Hotel. They have a car park too, which is handy.
- Sagar1279 (10/5): Excellent value for money with great location!! - We were 7 guys staying in 7 separate rooms for 7 nights. Location was great. 100 meters from the beach. In middle of soi 9, so, no noise from either of the main roads. Good restaurants nearby on beach road. With swimming pool (small), daily cleaning and changing of towels and bedsheets. At thb 700, it was awesome value for money. They have paid Internet facility in reception area. Daily 2 bottles of dining water complementary. No issues with unning hot water or bugs in room. Evening worked well. Overall excellent hotel if you On budget. If you want sea view or luxury hotel, look somewhere else.
Flipside, no lift or real restaurant.
- bongr_13 (6/5): Great Location and Value - If you're looking for a 5 star Hotel, I'd recommend the nearby Hilton. I stayed at this hotel with a friend, and we felt we got a fair deaI for our money. We didn't have any problems with noisy rooms, broken appliances or rude staff. The rooms cleaned properly every day. There weren't any insects in the rooms. The Central Festival Shopping center is just across the road and it was a baht bus ride away or easy walk to the nightlife ares. Overall it was good value for money, and I would stay there again on my next trip..
- TimSip81 (4/5): Dim Hotel Cheap price in mid PYX area - We 4 peoples stay in early November 11/04/2012
Visit PYX for Art in Paradise new 3D painting teenage photohalic opening place
And we just walk in coincidently last minute by one of our convicing friends in the group
Exterior hotel look;
Look like a Haunting hotel with creepy exterior; Sepia color Tone and Torn Wall paper painting from weather and time ruined building outside; Unsmoothly carpark pavement infront of hotel area;(some little swamp pond after the rain); And old staircase for guests to up and down room floor thru reception area No lift with Pool area is out of date style
Interior Room;
Smelly and dusty with no air ventilizing in the room ; look uncomfortable; feels like stayed in the prizon. No breakfast include; Beds can accepted for just 1 night sleep with the thin old brown color bedsheet. AC at first not work but after we complained to reception the engineer came for fixing. 2 Free drinking bottle is set up in room. Toilet is just basic
Advantage size; Cheap and situated in middle center of PYX area; can easily reach anywhere you needs by a quick walk; supermarket ; beaches and local food stall.
- 364gerarduss (2/5): Worst hotel in Pattaya? - After check in which was bad (clerk was rude and didn't speak English, I tried Thai and that didn't work) I went to the room and turned on the tv (didn't work) and a/c (didn't work well). I stayed in the room waiting for a/c to cool room but it was broken. I went to reception and told them and after a while a maintenance man came and said 'a/c ok'. I told him I'd been in the room for hours and he became VIOLENT! I forced him out of my room and went back to reception to complain. He yelled, threatened me and cussed me all the way there. The girl did tell him to shut up but to no avail. She went with me to room and changed rooms. Next one ok and I saw that they opened the windows to the bad room. (100F). I wanted to use their computers to contact Agoda but they didn't work and wifi didn't work. I went to an internet place and contacted Agoda. They said everything was ok and did nothing. Fire exits padlocked! Things got worse and my motorbike was vandalized. Don't stay here!
- AdventuresOfZolee (2/5): Worst Hotel I`ve ever stayed ! - I`ve stayed there four nights recently and it is nothing good I can say about this hotel, expect the location that was great ! It is more like a brothel than a hotel , it seems like some kind of a in call massage service can be ordered from the reception. The breakfast was dodgy, Cleanliness was very bad , food left on the hallway for days until it started to smell and a dodgy stained mattress was left against the wall just outside of my room.Inside the room was dated and everything fallig apart , the TV was unwatchable and the room was very noisy due to single glazing.Cockroaches everywhere and some stings all over my body ! Staff was Ok , but did not speak much English.
