- Henrik (6/5): Ok værelser, men..... - Placering af hotel var fantastisk - midt i det hele. Servicen var også rigtig god Værelserne var fine og der var ingen gadestøj. Men det er ekstremt lydt i bygningen. Overboen startede et “maratonløb” hver morgen før 7.00 og herefter kunne man høre alle værelser vågne op. Man kan høre alt hvad de andre naboer foretager sig og taler om - når de går i bad m.m Receptionen er ikke bemandet og der er morgenmad på en bar / restauranten i nærheden

- Suzanne (10/5): - Borgofico is a very small hotel, very centrally situated. I’ve stayed there twice now because Martina looks after you and makes you very welcome. Nothing is a problem and she is happy to help you with directions and local information. Don’t look for lots of room service and amenities that you would get in a big hotel. But here the rooms are spacious, very comfortable and quiet and the position there is fabulous. You are within walking distance to many of the best sites, or else there are bus stops right near Piazza Navona. The little streets all around there are beautiful, full of good restaurants and great shopping. I loved being near Piazza Navona. It is gorgeous, especially in the evenings when you see the buskers and artists and everyone coming out to get something to eat. Loved it!

- kristine (2/5): Don't stay here! - This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I am not someone who complains or is high maintenance about hotels, but this was BAD. The room itself was fine— but here’s what happened: We had a room booked here for just one night before flying home. We needed a late check in as we were coming from Sorrento and check in ended at 7 pm. Our taxi driver gave us our keys and walked us to our room. The hotel, which is on the 3rd floor of some residential apartments, was completely empty. We thought it was weird, but the room was fine. We went to dinner and out for our last evening in Rome. When we got back, a bit after midnight, the stairwells leading up to the hotel were completely black. We used our phones to be able to find the door. The hotel itself was completely dark, too. Power was out. Nothing worked. No one was there to help us. There was an emergency phone # left on the counter. I called it and messaged it multiple times, the call was declined every time. Note, this was end of June, massive heat wave in Rome, no A/C working, dripping sweat in the dark in this hotel. Then, huge, ear-splitting alarms started going off throughout the hotel. I was trying to call other hotels at this point to find somewhere we could stay and the alarms were so loud I could not even talk on the phone. It is now 1 am, my husband’s flight was at 6 am in the morning, we couldn’t possibly stay where we were...long, awful story short, we wandered the streets,,,for whole review see Tripadvisor

- Verified traveler (6/5): Average boutique - Spacious room with lots of modern additions in the fancy bathroom, make sure you get shown how to work everything when you check-in though as it’s pretty unclear. Location is good for exploring Rome, however, it’s above a bar which plays out until 2am so sleeping is difficult, there is soundproof windows but they don’t block out the vibrations. The team here do their best to make you feel at home and welcome, however, the very modest spa (a hot tub and a sauna) is NOT included in your room price. This makes zero sense, why is it there if not for your guests? So we got lumped with a bill on checkout which was unexpected - if we’d known this would happen we’d of probably stayed at a bigger hotel which includes all it’s amenities. Speaking of amenities, the coffee and tea makers were in the reception rather than having your own in your room, and there’s no milk available. The breakfast is supplied by a nice restaurant over the road, so it’s not in house, but it is very nice. The maids just tidy your room and make your bed also, we had to request to have the sheets CHANGED. A little lazy.

- Lisa (8/5): Cozy! - The hotel is a small boutique style situated in a neighborhood. We arrived late in the evening and they arranged a driver for us who had our room keys. The room was very small but clean and updated nicely. The walls were thin so we heard all the conversations next door. There are restaurants, nightlife, and major transportation nearby. If you are up for walking to can get to all tourist locations within 30 minutes. There are no elevators, so please keep that in mind if you have a health condition. I would like to view this place more so of as a Air BNB, because it does lack what typical hotels provide. We only slept here and we are not hard to please so it was perfect for us.

The front desk and cleaning services are only available for a limited amount each day, but it’s manageable if you read the provided info. WiFi definitely needs to be improved, we had a difficult time getting internet access in our room, even with a dedicated router in the hallway right outside.

Fizemos tudo a pé, mas que conste que para o Coliseu são uns 25 minutos andando, muito embora não foi problema pra nós. Quarto confortável, porém sem muito espaço para roupas e malas. Banheiro muito bom. O único porém é o horário limitado de funcionamento da recepção, muito embora eles sejam muito práticos com relação ao check in e check out, mas me senti meio inseguro sem a presença de alguém caso precisasse de algum auxílio. O recepcionista foi muito solícito, agradável e educado. Sugiro que ofereçam café da manhã. Excelente custo benefício.

This made it difficult to ask any questions for directions or about the cappuccino machine in the lobby, so we had to go out for coffee in the morning. They do not offer massages as advertised, and the sauna requires and appointment and Is only available in mid afternoon. The location made it a good choice. But, they should not call it a wellness hotel as you can not use any of the facilities that they advertised.
- Danial (8/5): Clean and modern looking - Pros: Clean and modern looking and very comfortable bed. In the heart of the center walking distance to most attractions. Front desk very helpful and transfer to/from airport was very convenient and reasonable. Cons: You need to take a set of stairs up to the first floor which was totally fine for us considering the location and price. The cleaning window is until 12pm or so and the two days that we slept in past 12 there was no cleaning for us and we ran out of toilet paper. Also there was no do not disturb sign and someone knocked and walked in to the room while we were sleeping. The shower knob is so complicated to operate even after explanation. You don't seem to be able to control the water temperature so you always get some sort of warm water so if you like hotter or colder shower you are out of luck. Wifi was good throughout but sometimes it would drop the voice for 5-10 seconds or so when I was on the call for work could be improved.

Infatti appena dietro Piazza Navona c è un dedalo di viuzze che ti fanno respirare l aria di una Roma ancora vera e tradizionale! La camera ( compreso il.bagno) è molto pulita e con particolari accattivanti! Il tocco di magia è Martina che mi ha ricevuto in modo splendido, gentile ed energico con un sorriso che mi ha fatto sentire come a casa. Un esperienza assolutamente da vivere!!! Non vedo l ora di tornarci! Buona Roma a tutti!!
- Alireza (8/5): - We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Their suggestions for sight seeing were priceless. Room was modern and very clean. Hotel is located within the historic area of Rome. Vatican is 5 minute walking away. You can walk within 15 minutes to all other sites except collesium that takes about half an hour. Hotel does not provide breakfast but there is a bar closeby that has breakfast buffet for 13 euros. It is 30 feet from the hotel. There are tens of local restaurents in the neighborhood with friendly staff, delicious food, and reasonable price. There is also a supermarket within 5 minutes walking distance. Two things about this hotel that you should know: This is a renovated 2nd floor apartmnet in an old building. Building does not have an elevator. And front desk staff are only working during the day and early evening. if you are in Rome to walk and see the old city and mingle with local people, I really recommend this hotel. BTW, don't forget to try gelato when you are in Italy.

- Krysten (10/5): Great - We had an amazing stay at the Borgofico hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful with suggestions and anything else we needed service wise. The room was completely updated and TV was satellite. The location of this hotel is unreal. It’s a 10 minute walk to the vatican, shopping, trevi fountain, travestere neighborhood, the list goes on and on. We walked everywhere including the spanish steps and coliseum. Didn’t use a car or bus once until leaving for airport. If you’re looking for good night life, right outside your door there are all kinds of bars and restaurants! The only tiny bump we faced, which isn’t the hotels fault, is that there is a nightclub directly below the hotel. Luckily we stayed Mon-Fri but one of the nights was a holiday so the club was open and it is very....loud to say the least. I believe it’s only opened on Friday and Saturday and holidays, so just something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper. Besides that, 10/10 for this place!

- STEEN (10/5): Lækkert værelse og central beliggenhed. - Meget central beliigenhed med gåafstand til alt det kulturelle. Samtidig i midten af mange fantastiske restauranter. Vores værelse lidt borte fra gaden og derfor stille og roligt, men dem med vindue til Via del Figo kan opleve noget støj, hvorfor ørepropper kan være en god ting. God morgenbuffet. Personalet meget flinke og uhyre hjælpsomme.

Startede med at introducere mig for Rom på kortet og anbefale forskellige steder. Der er vist kun 4 værelser, så en lille morgenbuffet, 4 borde på en lille terrasse og det ef det. Der bliver gjort rent og skiftet håndklæder hver dag (hvis man som jeg sagde at man ikke behøvede det hver dag, syntes de næsten det var mærkeligt) :-) Skønt centralt - gik ca 50 km på 4 dage, da det lå godt som udgangspunkt til alt i Rom.

- miranda (10/5): Great hotel in ideal location - A real find ... small hotel tucked away in a side street in the heart of the old city close to great bars and restaurants and within easy reach of the Vatican and walkable to all the key sites. Hotel staff (particularly Martina) really friendly, incredibly helpful - booked tickets ... nothing too much trouble. Recommended what to see / where to go / eat ... small spa perfect for aching limbs at the end of a long day walking the length & breadth of the city. Not obvious to find but well worth looking for! Offer airport transfer - slightly more expensive than Expedia shared shuttle but after return transfer with Expedia (45 min detour in opposite direction!) would invest in their transfer next time!

Lots of places to eat right on your doorstep including traditional Italian restaurants and more modern bar/restaurants. We booked to spa area for our second day after a long days sight seeing, it was bliss. Staff were extremely welcoming and the room was spacious and very clean. Looking forward to returning in the future.
