Guest Reviews
- Neil (10/5): Definitely will return to this lovely hotel at a great location. - Very friendly and attentive staff, clean, quiet room. Very comfortable bed. Hotel within easy level walk to the centre of Bath. Lovely bar, great breakfast choices. Nothing
- Yue (8/5): -
- Gale (9/5): Trendy and eclectic place to stay with a great location. - This place is eclectic, nicely done with interesting artwork. The room was very large and nicely decorated- love the dollhouse with the coffee maker. The record player was a great touch- loved playing old music from the 70's. The location is superb. Overall it is a very cool place to stay! The restaurant/bar is very inviting. The floor in the room was extremely creaky- woke me up in the night when my partner was up. There is some traffic noise from the street. That's all!
- Cat (10/5): - Great location
- Craig (10/5): Friendly staff welcome you on arrival; escorted up to the room and shown around, free pantry with snacks was awesome, wo - Beautiful room, wish we could’ve stayed longer! No dislikes, you get what you pay for.
- Susan (10/5): -
- Renate (10/5): A very lovely, quiet chic boutique hotel. - No. 15 was our last night in the UK this trip. They were able to accommodate the one thing we needed which was an early check in. The staff was excellent, our room quiet, spotless and lovely. This is a character boutique hotel and we loved our short stay there. We would definitely book again.
- Marcus (9/5): A fabulous stay, Bath is a beautiful historic City with a good array of shops, restaurants and cafes - The staff were very friendly and helpful; nice balance of friendly and professional but avoiding stuffy. The room, a Pultenay Room, was fabulous,.. very comfortable and well-equipped. The bathroom was nice but I personally prefer a free-standing shower to a shower over the bath. I appreciate the hotel is City Centre, and understand parking is very limited but I wouldn't normally expect to be charged for parking which is on site. The hotel bar was in the process of being re-furbed so we didn't enjoy the best that I'm sure the new bar will have to offer and the range of wine by the glass was limited for a hotel of this quality. Unusual not to have an evening dining option but I have to say it suited us, as the hotel is ideally situated and we enjoyed finding places to eat out. Book the copper bath early if you want to enjoy the Spa to its full.
- Hilary (8/5): -
- Kate (9/5): Comfortable stay - Very central. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed Parking is restricted has to be paid for.
- John (10/5): -
- Matthew (8/5): -
- Jill (9/5): Enjoyed our stay very much celebrating my granddaughters 21st,staff very helpful and friendly - Everything perfect Not much room on the breakfast table for four
- Marcin (7/5): -
- Alison (9/5): Excellent - Design and friendliness. The coffee was poor and the bar was being refurbished so was closed.
- Rebecca (9/5): A lovely place to stay, central to the city centre - It was close to town, and felt comfortable but special The chairs in the restaurant weren’t very comfortable
- Thomas (9/5): -
- Adele (9/5): Great location, lovely staff and comfortable beds - Súper friendly helpful staff, great location, comfortable beds and delicious breakfasts. The toilet and shower were on the small side but that was a minor thing really.
- Scott (9/5): A great spot in Bath. Very classy and professional. - The breakfast was great. Good location. I would go back for sure.
- Emma (10/5): Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Bath. The complimentary snack/treat pantry filled with local artis - Warm and welcoming hospitality, friendly staff who went above and beyond, lovely views of Bath, beautiful decor, great restaurant, and the complimentary snack/treat pantry was so unique and such a delight!!! I got to meet one of the staff who curates the snack pantry and breakfast menus and it was so clear how much care and passion goes into making this place special for guests
- Beedell (10/5): Quirky and luxurious with lots of delightful touches. - Quirky and luxurious with lots of delightful touches. Staff were very helpful, courteous and friendly. Having reserved parking was great. Shame the bar wasn’t open, it was undergoing renovations, but cocktails were still served in the restaurant. More hooks and practical furniture/space for unpacking and storing clothes and personal items would have been nice.
- Shane (10/5): Luxurious comfort in the heart of Bath - The room was very clean, staff were super helpful and the bed was amazing! The elevator sometimes didn’t work as expected

- Mayte (10/5): Acogedora, chic, cómoda. Ideal - Ideal todo Todo me gustó
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, Location, Staff everyone was friendly, professional, helpful and polite especially the Breakfast team! Nothing.
- Adam (10/5): -
- Pål (10/5): - Allt Inget
- Fiona (9/5): -
- Panteleimon (7/5): -
- Nicola (8/5): Great location, friendly and helpful staff, great lemon cookies - The location, the staff, the free pantry lovely lemon cookies The bar was closed for refurb and we were not informed which probably would not have made a difference but it would have been nice to know.
- Jason (10/5): - Beautiful building in a fantastic location. Staff were friendly and helpful Breakfast coffee wasnt particularly good
- moon7779 (10/5): - The reception staff and the breakfast restaurant team were extremely friendly, many thanks to them. The hotel’s location is also excellent. -
- Tiffany (10/5): -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Perfect! Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Location was ideal and the breakfast’s were delicious. - Everything!! Location, atmosphere, food and staff. All were all excellent. Nothing. Property was exceptional.
- ANN MARIE (10/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): A wonderful place to stay in the centre of Bath, beautiful rooms and lovely staff! - What a lovely place! The room was beautiful and very comfortable and despite being close to the city centre was very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely book again! My husband loved all the complimentary sweet treats and would come back just for that! 🤣 There wasn't anything I didn't like
- 773aliciae (6/5): Mixed thoughts - I have really mixed thoughts about this hotel. Having stayed at their property in Margate and having had a great experience, I was excited to try out the Bath location.
The room we had (coach house large) was spacious, clean and very peaceful. Everything was super convenient and it was really tranquil, confortable bed, it was a great night sleep.
Unfortunately, the other hotel facilities were not as great.
1. I booked myself a massage (as this was a stay for my birthday) and was quite disappointed by the experience. My massage was booked for 15:45, by that time, I was still at the lounge and it would take about another 5-10 minutes for the treatment to start. This treatment was meant to last 90 minutes, and I was surprised to be finished by around 17:05. The masseuse was lovely, but paying £175 for a shorter massage did not feel right.
I also tried to have dinner at the restaurant, I booked a table using the hotel’s own website booking system for 20:45, was surprised to be told when I turned up at the restaurant that I could only eat bar snacks because “the chef had to go home”. Really confused as to why I could even book a table if the chef doesn’t plant to be around?
All in all, not sure I’d be back or recommend. Will think twice about booking another property.
- Ross (10/5): - The room/ bed/ bathroom were of high standard.
The quirky little things such as the radio, record player, pantry are superb features.
Love the pantry and record player.
The staff were all friendly. Especially the lady on reception. She was very accommodating with regards to letting us use the car park both prior and post stay. No
- Lindsay (10/5): - Really comfortable room, friendly staff and a great location.
- Nicky (9/5): lovely hotel great location, some rooms could do with a bit of an update - location and spa room we stayed in was very stuffy and bathroom was tiny for the amount we paid
- Mark (9/5): -
- U7007ZQlisar (10/5): Like a dream - This is a really special hotel. The staff couldn't do more to help you or make you feel comfortable. I'd really recommend, I came to Bath on a solo trip and had the best time.
- Lorraine (10/5): - The hotel had a boutique hotel feel, luxury without feeling intimidating. Nothing - loved it all
- Nadra (9/5): -
- Travel36558580166 (10/5): Fantastic Stay - This is one of the best hotel experiences I've had. The staff were unflappable when we needed assistance and could not have been more helpful. The room was beautiful and spaceous, and it's all an easy walk from Bath centre.
- Katharina (10/5): Special birthday stay in Bath; friendly staff, lovely touches, cosy atmosphere, great location! - A really special occasion to travel to Bath for a birthday celebration. The staff were very friendly and even left a treat in the room for us. Parking was easy, and we had a wonderful view from our room. The location is fantastic; everything is within walking distance. The atmosphere was really cosy, and there was even a pantry, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was wonderful, with a well-curated selection of food choices. And the spa on top of all that made it even better.
A brilliant & memorable experience; we would definitely come back! Nothing!
- James (10/5): Stunning townhouse location with lovely staff. - Great room in a wonderful location with a delicious breakfast. The staff were really welcoming and and kindly helped us out after we'd left something behind which was really appreciated. Nothing - it was all good.
- Ruggero Jenna (10/5): - Posizione eccellente. Camera molto bella. Ottima colazione. Niente
- Betty Jean (10/5): Perfect location and a perfect stay for comfort, charm and delicious food. - I liked everything - warm welcome, friendly team members, wonderfully comfortable room with charming extras, lovely rain shower head in the spacious shower area, warm and welcoming bar atmosphere, delicious food at dinner and breakfast … very much looking forward to returning. Nothing really, in my view.
- andrea (9/5): Posizione centrale - Stanza ampia a brevissima distanza dal centro colazione molto varia e buona
- Guest (10/5): -
- Sprague (10/5): -
- Janet (9/5): -
- Allen (1/5): Overall a very disappointing stay. Worst hotel I’ve been to in a while. Nothing as advertised - The location It was nothing like the picture. The room was horrible and old
- Laurie (10/5): -
- Nick (9/5): Wonderful break with fab staff and great for our dogs - I loved the way they welcomed our dogs and the food was great Nothing of substance- perhaps make sure the bar is properly stocked?
- axel (9/5): -
- Isabel (8/5): -
- Dheer (10/5): - Absolutely amazing, the staff is warm and welcoming. The breakfast is great, with flexibility to accommodate different choices, with no unnecessary rules.
- Alejandra (9/5): -
- Stephen (10/5): -
- carolined648 (10/5): A perfect staycation - We had the most wonderful stay. I couldn't recommend it more highly for a weekend stay in Bath. The ambience, the staff, the location, all 10/10.
- vicki (10/5): Best place to stay in Bath - Beautiful hotel, fantastically quirky and fun!
- Lauren (10/5): -
- Rhonda (8/5): Despite the niggles, I would stay again (assuming I can get similarly good room rate) - It's a beautiful hotel in a beautiful area of Bath. The ladies on reception were very warm and welcoming.
I love the decor of this property, and my room, whilst small, was snug and cozy.
There are some lovely touches, like the food pantry, the record player, in room kettle and nespresso machine.
I particularly appreciated that there were bath salts.
The room rate included and excellent cooked breakfast. The property is noticeably more "tired" vs the last time I visited (years ago). The carpet is worn in places, for example.
My bathtub/shower didn't look particularly clean - a fair bit of limescale built up around the taps etc.
My biggest issue was the lack of sound-proofing - I could hear someone else's TV throughout my stay. Also, the window appeared to be old and single-glazed - I could hear a fair bit of noise from outside, and it was actually rattling significantly in its frame when the wind picked up.
- Jason (9/5): Great location and beautiful hotel -
Rien
- Pavey (9/5): - Dining staff were so helpful with suggestions and accommodating my dog No parking left at hotel.
- Sofia (7/5): -
- Gianluca (8/5): -
- Godber (10/5): Lovely city hotel in very elegant area. - Love the building and the vibe. The bar was super fun too. Very young staff though - not really familiar with making cocktails! Our room was a bit airless and dark.
- Amanda (10/5): -
- Rachel (10/5): -
- Godber (9/5): - Location perfect. Atmosphere amazing. The rooms were a little dark and too much stuff everywhere.
- Jon (10/5): Wonderful stay - Stunning property. Wonderful cocktail bar and restaurant Fresh milk in the room would be nice for tea, also the twin bed pushed together could use a bed bridge. But other than those two things amazing hotel
- Jorge (8/5): -
- Abbie (10/5): Great location, comfy room & unlimited snacks from the pantry!!!! -
- Petrofski (8/5): -
- Aine (10/5): Beautiful rooms, gorgeous city and tasty treats! - There were so many things to love about No.15.
The building itself was beautiful with high ceilings and gorgeous decor.
The big house in each room that conceals your coffee and tea making facilities was a lovely feature.
The spa was heavenly. I could have visited everyday!
Having a record player in your room was really cool too and being able to head downstairs to choose some records made the experience really special.
Then there’s the pantry. Who doesn’t love a room filled with treats and snacks where everything’s free and you can visit whenever you’d like?!
Freshly baked biscuits, crisps, sweets, ice cream, need I say more!?
The breakfast was delicious and the staff were so attentive. I’d stay here again and again and again! If I had to pick something I’d say the parking situation was the only thing that was a pain.
It was a huge bonus that the hotel has parking but it’s charged at £28 a day. I believe this is similar to other car parks nearby but it is quite pricey. Just something to bear in mind if travelling by car.
- Sarahkay78 (10/5): Best hotel I’ve stayed in. - The perfect base to explore the beautiful city of Bath.
The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are so comfortable. They think of everything to make your stay perfect.
The location is perfect to explore the city and is so gorgeous with lovely restaurants and bars a short stroll away.
The staff couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful.
We usually spend very little time in our hotels on city breaks but we found ourselves returning earlier and leaving later as we were enjoying the guesthouse experience so much. We will definitely return and now I tend to visit every guesthouse.
