Logement très bien équipé et bien propre. A 10 minutes de la porte Malelane du parc Kruger. Pas possible d'aller au resto à pied le soir, pas d'Uber. Par contre immense Spar avec plats à emporter. Personnellement, nous avons demandé la livraison de pizzas. Pas possible d'aller au resto à pied le soir (sécurité) et pas d'Uber
• Volker (10/5): Ruhiges Apartment in fantastischer Lage am Crocodile River - Fantastische Lage direkt am Crocodile River. Nilpferde, Elefanten und verschiedene Antilopenarten sind von der Veranda zu beobachten.
• LKunst (10/5): Phenomenal for a few days in Kruger! - First of all: no, you do not pay extra for the air conditioning, contrary to what some reviews say. Yes, the AC has to be set to a maximum of 20°C (possibly due to power consumption). There is a washing machine (very convenient) and a dishwasher. These are not allowed to run after 5 PM (again, likely because of electricity usage). The showers are perfectly fine. Our girls even took a bath, and afterward we were still able to shower. The water turned cold for a moment, but then warmed up again, totally manageable. Unfortunately, we didn’t see an elephant at the fence during our 5-night stay, but we did spot hippos, crocodiles, and waterbucks! The location is phenomenal, and the host is very friendly (I had read mixed reviews about that as well). I would definitely come back here again! Really happy we stayed for 5 nights explored Kruger at a relaxed pace (saw the Big Five) and checked out Malelane. There’s also a Superspar nearby, which is huge! With CD Tours we've been picked up here and drove a morning game drive in Kruger. Great! Nothing!

• Gisela (8/5): - Pool mit Ausblick auf den Fluss war sehr schön. Tolle Ausstattung in der Küche inkl. Heissluftfritteuse. Draußen viele Mücken durch Nähe des Flusses. Bei dem Zimmer/ Wohnung im Erdgeschoss fühlte man sich etwas beengt aufgrund der niedrigen Decken und fehlendem Ausblick

• matthieu (3/5): - The view and the location are good The attitude of the owner. 2minutes after the end of the rental, the owner asks us if we planned to stay one more night. The tone was not nice. The room was empty since one hour to let the cleaning team clean the apartment. We were outside, enjoying the pool. We asked the cleaning team if we could use the pool until noon which they accepted. It looks like they cannot make this kind of decision. The AC is working so so. Set on the 21° ( the owner asks us to not go below 19°), the AC stops working in the middle of the night. There is enough water for one shower and then you have to wait for 20min for a second shower.

One room with own balcony with riverside view ! Facilities are ample with good functionality. The common areas are extraordinary . We love the views and relaxing area , just enjoying the serene and private moments . We even saw a large group of elephants in the opposite river .

Nothing really, all was good and reasonable. The aircon's prepaid units were enough but it would have been nice to know beforehand what the protocol was, it did not affect us at all but upfront info would have been nice

Had elephants greeting us right next to the wall, we saw waterbuck, hippos and crocodiles too. It was amazing, wish we had booked for a few more days! We will definitely return with our next trip! • Carmen (9/5): Wunderschöner Aufenthalt mit toller Aussicht und netter Gastgeberin - Wundervolle Lage und Aussicht, haben Elefanten, Hippos und Krokodile direkt vor Ort hautnah erleben dürfen. Die Terasse ist der Wahnsinn. Liesl war eine tolle Gastgeberin und hat uns abends sogar ein einheimisches Gericht gekocht. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Luft im Appartment war teils etwas klamm.

• Yorick (10/5): Incroyable séjour en bord de rivière - Le logement est incroyable, en bord de la Crocodile River, juste en face du parc Kruger. On n'a pas eu la chance de voir beaucoup d'animaux depuis la belle terrasse, mais il y a toujours des hippopotames, crocodiles, antilopes et oiseaux qui s'y promènent. Tout est décoré avec goût, et Cordelia est très accueillante.
• Muriel (9/5): Very neat and comfortable. Awesome place - The locations were fabulous. We saw different animals in the river. Elephants came right up to the deck. The property next to Hennie's rest is being developed and it was noisy during the day. But I know it is temporary and will soon be nice and peaceful to sit on the deck and look out over the river.
• kevin (10/5): Magnifique vue et chambre. Super emplacement pas loin de porte Malelane - Quelle vue !!! Quelle terrasse !!! Superbe chambre spacieuse. Nous avons eu de la chance sur une soirée (éléphants juste devant la terrasse), 2 ypo sont passés et un crocodile Je ne pensais pas que la terrasse et la piscine étaient pour 2 logements. Pas dérangeant car nous nous sommes à peine croisé. Dommage que la piscine n’était pas plus lavé, même si elle était froide car en hiver, il faisait 28º dehors et les enfants sont allés se baigner

• Patrick (3/5): I would urge people to look for a different property … there are plenty with the same river frontage that are much bette - Nothing Not wheelchair accessible at all (contrary to the claim), a noisy building site next door, impossible to access the deck with river and bush views (the best feature of the property). Told we had to pay for a lost key and remote … R700. We spent at least an hour in the morning retracing our steps from the previous night, found the lost items and returned them to the disgruntled hostess. No recognition of our efforts, no thank you. Particularly offensive to me the wheelchair user … the hostess could only speak to my friend and not to me. Even when I had asked a question she directed her gaze and comments to my friend. Bizarre.

The view from the deck is the Kruger National Park, and it’s exciting looking out the window in the morning knowing you could see anything. There’s crocodiles, hippos, waterbuck, elephants, impala always nearby.

Wild life just outside the terrace . You can hear night life of Kruger park ! We had problem with the car , but got support on place , and much appreciated on that !!!! • Fred (9/5): Excellent spot close to the Kruger Park - where the animals come and visit you! - We had such an amazing time at Hennie’s Rest, we flew into Kruger Mpumalanga Airport and it was an easy drive to get to Malelane and Hennie’s rest from there! We arrived to a warm welcome from Cornelia who gave us advice on the best game drives in Kruger park and where to pick up a good pair of binoculars so we had the best experience! We went on a sunset drive the day we arrived thanks to Cornelia’s knowledge of the Malelane gate which is a very convenient 10 minute drive away. When we weren’t heading into the park we had an amazing time looking out over the crocodile river and spotting a large variety of wildlife from elephants, crocodiles and kudu to king fishers, geckos and guinea fowl. Throughout the day we were entertained by the animals, even when braaing in the dark we had some hippos join us. Cornelia is an excellent host with excellent knowledge of the local area and the ins and outs of visiting South Africa as a tourist. We would have been in quite a pickle if we hadn’t read Cornelia’s info on car rentals and ensuring we had a document saying we could take it into Eswatini - thankfully we were able to go to the local branch and get that sorted before arriving at the border! I was especially thankful for the homey addition of hot water bottles for the slightly chillier evenings. Thanks for looking after us so well and sharing your amazing spot in the world- we have already let our friends know about your beautiful spot and would recommend it to anyone!

There is a swimming pool and barbacoa area for you to use. The views are incredible. We watched the animals during sunset and sunrise. Highly recommended!

Above all, the host Cornelia is the best - makes you feel at home. The government loadsheding did not dampen our holiday, as the host has a backup plan - the generator. It really made a huge positive difference.
