- Charlene (8/5): Beautiful paradise near the Indian Ocean 🥰 - This is my third time here, I love the location, greenery around and of course the Indian Ocean right at your doorstep. It’s truly a paradise away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Staff are very caring and friendly, nothing is too much. Also you will get to witness some of the most beautiful breathtaking sunrises here. I fell in love with their fish curry and rice from my first visit here, been returning because of that. I hope you never lose the charm you have created here 🙏🏽🧿🥰 I would have scored 10/10 unfortunately what I didn’t enjoy is being bit by mosquitoes. Too many mosquitoes. I did speak to staff to spray my room, which was done without any issues but still that didn’t help much either. I don’t know if the chef has changed, fish curry was a bit disappointing this time. Fish was not fresh, tasted like it was kept in the freezer for too long.

- Katabazi2 (10/5): Best value, best experience! - The location, facilities, and staff are always the best. We usually stay in the Chalets but tried out the modern rooms. They are very comfortable and clean, and cold AC. Best value for the money on the beach around Dar Es Salaam. They make sure it's a quiet, peaceful experience, unlike nearby hotels that host late-night parties well into the night on weekends. The beach and water were very clean (seaweed n.k.). However, this is less dependent on the hotel and more about the seasons and the ocean. Very reasonable food and drink prices especially when compared to other places on the beach. You will pay double for anything in Zanzibar, and probably around 30% more for everything on the same beaches around Dar. Highly recommend Nothing was deficient. Great experience

Steep stairs in accommodation to take heavy luggage upstairs. Restaurant prices are a bit steep and due to location, its far to walk to eat out elsewhere. Safety concerns if you wonder past beach front of the resort

- Musau (3/5): Could have been better. - Excellent location, the beach right at your feet, friendly staff. Extremely slow service, they don't provide towels, rooms have shared bathrooms. The entire set up could do with some face lift, even charge more for that.

Non credo che migliorerei qualcosa. Magari del sapone nelle docce comuni che servono le capanne sulla spiaggia.

- Sandra L. (9/5): Gerne wieder - Die Lage ist traumhaft. Das Gelände sicher. Die kleinen Hütten am Strand hatten für uns alles, was wir uns für einen Aufenthalt gewünscht haben. Mosquito Netz, kleiner Schreibtisch, tolle Matratze, Stühle und einen Tisch vor der Hütte. Die Gemeinschaftsduschen und - kloos waren tiptop sauber. Das Village, mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, nur 15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Die Preise im Restaurant waren für uns zu hoch. Ein besseren in der Hütte wäre genial gewesen, will es ständig sandig war. Für das WIFI mussten ständig neue Codes geholt werden ....

Beach huts are VERY basic.. there is only a bed with a sheet. No towel, no toiletries, and the comunal toilet/shower area is adequate at best Also prices are exclusively based on a European clientele. For 27$ a night you get a lot more elsewhere in Tanzania..

De plek aan zee was fijn, maar er werd ons verteld niet veilig, We mochten niet langs het strand lopen volgens de receptie vanwege gevaar voor beroving. Tijdens ons verblijf vonden er in het chalet naast ons renovatiewerkzaamheden plaats. Heel veel geluid van timmeren, tegels zagen en allerlei andere apparatuur die werd gebruikt. Dit ging de hele dag onverminderd door. Uitslapen of een siesta zat er niet in....

- Marco (10/5): - Il Kipepeo Beach and Village è un luogo meraviglioso: un vero angolo di paradiso, tranquillo e rilassante. La spiaggia e l'oceano sono splendidi! I cottage sono semplici ma accoglienti, la spiaggia è splendida e l'atmosfera è autentica. La cucina è ottima! vi consigliamo il pesce. Un ringraziamento particolare a tutto lo staff che in seguito ai problemi in città ha fatto doppi turni per non farci mancare niente. Vogliamo ringraziare anche Victor (il manager che gestisce il posto) che ci ha fornito supporto costante, andando ben oltre il suo dovere. Speriamo torni presto la pace in Tanzania per tornarci l'anno prossimo!
- Veronika (7/5): - Eine traumhaft schöne Lage. Ich bin nicht mehr geeignet für Camping, bzw. Das teilen vom Badezimmer. Das ist jedoch mein eigenes Empfinden. Es gibt dort auch wunderschöne Bungalows mit eigenem Bad, leider nicht in meiner Preisklasse. Habe dort nur eine Nacht geschlafen.

- Miriam (10/5): Asboluter Herzensort - Ich war vor über 10 Jahren schon öfter hier – und jetzt endlich wieder! Das Kipepeo Beach Village ist einfach ein besonderer Ort. Die Zimmer bzw. Bungalows werden gerade renoviert und sind wirklich wunderschön gestaltet. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und herzlich, man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause. Das Essen ist einfach fantastisch – jedes Gericht ein Genuss – und der Strand ist traumhaft schön. Ich liebe wirklich alles hier. So schön, dass dieser Ort immer noch so viel Charme hat wie früher! 💛🌴

- Sherom (10/5): Couldn't be better - The staff is exceptionally friendly. We arrived sick and they cared about us lovely. Everything is organized and reliable. Price - value is perfect. The beach is clean and it is not as noisy as everywhere else in Dar. So far the best accomodation in Dar for me.

- Gabrielle (10/5): Traumhafter Aufenthalt - Wir übernachteten in den Bandelas, welche sehr einfach eingerichtet sind. Wem das einfache Leben direkt am Strand gefällt, ist hier genau richtig. Das Gemeinschaftsbad wird täglich gereinigt. Obwohl es einige Leute hatte, gab es immer genügend warmes Wasser. Es ist der schönste Strand rund um Dar es Salaam - sauber ohne Seeigel oder Steinen am Meeresboden Exzellent! Traumhaft schön. Bei Ebbe kannst du ungehindert im Meer schwimmen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und immer bereit zu helfen. Das Essen war hervorragend- besonders die leckeren Pizzen. Ein kurzer Aufenthalt war geplant, jedoch wurde es zum Schluss ein langer Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank an das tolle Team von Kipepeo Beach. Wir freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt bei euch.
- Noel (1/5): I feel scamed - I was to annoyed to see anything nice First of all I would like to point out this is a huge scam. You pay for a room but you get the worst room they have even thou u made sure triple times before we made payment on your choice. Just after payment bomb they give you a receipt for a totally different room one that's no even online or in any picture catalogue. I honestly didn't like this at all as I had a baby and I made it clear. So I pre-called to ask for the coat upon request that's where I got to find out as well from the reception where booked for some ugly tents preferably for soldiers or boot camp not a family with a small child. Am very very disappointed .so I asked anyway you can assist to rectify this issue there like you come to the hotel will sort it out don't worry. So we they took them up on their word and moved there just to be told he can't help you. Maybe if you want a fresh booking for 70usd. Mind you the one we made was about 30usd now you have to cover a new cost would have been better they share with client via phone call than to drag a family all the way to tell them we know about this issue but we can't help you. Anyways lesson learnt kipepo never again. Would even recommend it to anyone

C'è comunque un deposito bagagli e una safe box dove lasciare i valori . Inoltre si può fare una doccia e cenare prima di partire. Asante sana al Kipepeo

- Ulrich (9/5): Es war ein toller Aufenthalt! - Die Schlafräume waren sehr gut. Das Bett war angenehm und die Matratze nicht zu hart. Wir haben zu dritt in dem Bett geschalfen und jeder hatte genügend Platz. Das Moskitonetz war ein prima Schutz. Wir haben ausserdem den Balkon sehr genossen. Das Bad war sauber und alles hat gut funktioniert. Wir haben das Lokal sehr intesniv genutzt. Die Speisekarte war reichlich und es gab sehr viele vegetarische Gerichte. Das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Zu unserer Zeit war nicht viel los, soadss wir fast die einzigene am Strand waren. Lediglich die Anreise war etwas kompliziert, da die Taxifahrer das Haus nicht kannten. Die Ausschilderung ab der Hauptstraße ist etwas spärlich.

- Rossana (9/5): Bel posto semplice su una bella spiaggia - La posizione è un pò lontanta dal centro di Dar Es Salaam, che per il traffico diventa impossibile da raggiungere ( più di un'ora nel caos), però è su una bellissima spiaggia. Insomma dipende da cosa si vuole fare. Le banda sono molto belle e comode e la colazione semplice (uova, toast e marmellata) però buona. Personale gentile Un pò la pulizia delle camere e delle lenzuola

- Johanna (8/5): - Die Hütten waren toll und der Strandabschnitt super schön. Man kann einen richtig entspannten Urlaub dort verbringen. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war leider nicht gut und dafür sehr teuer. Frühstück war nicht inklusive,obwohl die Unterkunft verhältnismäßig teuer war. Für den Preis habe ich schon bessere Qualität erhalten.

De geluidsoverlast van een vd buren in het weekend, de hele dag en tot 4 uur in de nacht harde discomuziek. Gelukkig vanaf zondag tm dinsdag alleen het geluid van aapjes, krekels, vogels en de zee

- THRASYVOULOS (8/5): Value for money, no frills accommodation right on yhe beach with a decent restaurant - The setting on yhe beach is magnificent The bandas need a refurbishment after so many years.

- Jenny (9/5): Perfect beach getaway :) - After arriving in the hustle and bustle of Dar es Salaam it was like a little oasis, lovely layout and cute touches. The staff were lovely, Frankie was very welcoming and taught us some Swahili, Upendo made the BEST cocktails and one of my bags had been lost by Rwandair and Dorothy went above and beyond to help me get it back! The food was delicious and reasonably priced and the location was right on the beach. We preferred it in the week because it gets (understandably!!) quite busy at the weekends. There wasn’t too much to do (except for beach activities, which was great for us) but that was actually fine as Kipepeo had everything you could need and the staff are extremely kind and helpful.
- Alice (3/5): Went to enjoy a relaxing stay as we are volunteering in a slum however had the opposite we were worried about being bitt - It was close to the beach Dirty bed sheets, dirty pillows!
- Sascha (9/5): Beach weekend break - Very relaxing place on the beach. Good food and very friendly service. The resort next door is playing loud music all day, which is unfortunately also affects the peace at Kipepeo
- Liana (10/5): Exceptional - this was already our second visit at kipepeo. we came back for the beautiful clean beach, the very kind and helpful staff, the delicious food and the cozy bungalows.
