- Mcgann (9/5): GOOD VALUE IN MILTOWN MALBAY. - Lovely spot in milltown Malby, good value in modern ireland. Difficult to find friels pub where we got the key ,it has the name lynch over the pub ; but has a fantastic pint of Guinness.
- Paolo (7/5): - Letti comodi, stanza accogliente Mancano gli essenziali, asciugamani in numero adeguato agli occupanti.
- Tony (10/5): Lovely experience - Easy to access, lovely decor, room really clean and pleasant. The town of Kingassie had all the services plus some lovely walks without being excessively touristy.

- Jeanette (10/5): Clean, great value, central - Its very clean, friendly and practical .
It's not fancy , I wasn't expecting it to be but I arrived very late and was shown to my room by very helpful staff. Lovely bakery across the road for breakfast and nice coffee Baccus. Nothing to complain about. Very good value for money.

- Patricia (7/5): Comments - I liked the ensuite. It was a generous size. I thought tea and coffee would be left in to the kitchenette for guests. I didnt see any grocery store to buy them.

- Laura (10/5): - Location was fantastic, staff were lovely, rooms were great
- Holly (9/5): Ideally located and very clean. - Stayed here with a 3 month old baby as we went to day 2 of a wedding in Miltown Malbay and needed to be close to the venue. The accommodation was so central, beside pubs, cafes and shops. It was very clean and we had a spacious room. The hosts were so helpful when I rang about a travel cot. Lots of stairs if you are travelling with lots of bags but overall very good. Just the stairs as we had a baby but it wasn’t a major problem.
- Mark (9/5): Great buzz in Miltown Malbay - Great location and hospitality from start to finish. I enjoyed some music and pints in the owner’s bar (Friels) nearby
- Karen (7/5): Perfect for what we needed - Would have liked an extra key N/A
- Christine (5/5): Fair enough - Locality Very cold on arrival, no heating on, no cold water in cold tap

- Roseingrave (6/5): Very convenient, comfortable and quite clean, friendly staff. Great location. - Staff were very friendly and had no problem with checking us in later than planned when we were delayed. The room was spacious and comfortable, and a great location. Bathroom was clean and lots of hot water. There was no breakfast but we found a nice cafe nearby in Lahinch. Overall very convenient for a wedding we were going to nearby. There was a sort of humming noise coming from somewhere - not sure what it was, didn't bother us too much but we were only staying for a night.

- Diane (7/5): Excellent stay and good value for money! - Host was very friendly, catered for our needs and provided local information. The room was clean, warm, very roomy and good value for money. Location was excellent . Loved close proximity to Spanish Armada for the wedding, sight seeing and of course bars and cafes. Loved the Irish bar Friels with traditional music! Bed although I couldn’t say uncomfortable was too soft for my liking.

- Sophie (10/5): Beats any hotel stay! - I recently stayed at this townhouse while working at an event in the Armada Hotel, and I can honestly say the experience exceeded my expectations. I had planned to check in earlier, but the event ran very late. Despite my delay, the hosts were incredibly flexible and understanding. They never made me feel under pressure about the check in time, which I truly appreciated.
When I finally arrived, the owner kindly brought me to the accommodation in the very wet weather, which was such a thoughtful gesture. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
The room itself was spotlessly clean, honestly on par with any hotel room, and I dont think my experience would have been much different had I stayed in the Armada. The bed was extremely comfortable, the temperature was perfect, and I had a lovely view out onto the main street. I also requested a desk in advance, and they provided one without hesitation, which made my stay even more convenient.
In terms of value for money, this place is exceptional. The next morning, check out instructions were simple, and the townhouse is directly across from a charming bakery where I enjoyed a fantastic coffee and croissant before heading home.
Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would absolutely choose this townhouse over the Armada in the future. The location is much closer to the towns amenities, and the hospitality was outstanding. Highly recommended!

- Rosarie (9/5): Affordable and most enjoyable indeed. - O 'Loughlans for breakfast .weather held us back from browsing the shops .Our stay was brief but we will return.Townhouse perfect location for our night at The Forge . Bed a little too soft but comfortable and cosy.stairs a little climb for ( over 70's) otherwise a welcoming place to stay and so convinent to everything and everywhere. We'll be back .

- Jo Anne (10/5): We were there for a wedding. We spent the night before the wedding here which was great! - The whole accommodation was clean and welcoming. We had three rooms in the accommodation and every room was comfortable. We were there for a wedding and the location was perfect. Shops and restaurants right in the Main Street which was very convenient. I can’t say I didn’t like anything. Anything we needed all we had to do was ring and ask.

- paul (10/5): A must visit in any itinerary of Ireland, stay more than one night - Very convenient to everything in town & lovely beaches nearby. Went to 2 lovely pubs , Hillary’s nearby, and ended up in a bar just down the road , Freils bar , met the owners Jonathan & Mickey Wilson. Very welcoming friendly people, they had a fantastic traditional Irish music session on in the pub. We had a brilliant night & can’t wait to get back there early next year. Paul Loved everything
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Very tidy , great communication and lovely staff x oliva let us in and we went down to the owners pud that evening . Highly recommend, great stay all over . Be back again.
- Emer (10/5): - Highly recommend, great location. Excellent staff. Can't wait to return. Everything was perfect.

- Alberto (10/5): - Johnny, the owner, was extremely responsive and accommodating. The room was super clean, cosy, and warm. There's a cute back patio to enjoy your meals and sunset. Plus there's some fantastic live music in this historic and lovely town. For sure would recommend to rest and enjoy Clare County.

- Sean (7/5): Grand for a short stop or for spending the night after surfing during the day. - Nice location in the middle of Miltown Malbay. It was a small room which I knew beforehand so no surprise there. Within driving distance of Spanish Point and Lahinch surf beaches which was the reason I spent the night. Corridor smelled of washing detergent coming from the laundry room. Not that pleasant.
Also the water stopped working the morning I checked out so I couldn't take a shower.
- Martin (8/5): -
- David (8/5): -
- Marius (10/5): 5 stars - Friendly warm welcome & great accommodation
- Hartline (7/5): - Loved the free parking, multiple food options nearby, and casual atmosphere
- Cori (10/5): Great location great pubs and bakery’s and coffee ..walkable to every thing - It was great super spacious and clean. Great location to pubs and food. Great bakery across street. I liked it all..
- Anna (4/5): Great location, great host, cleanliness could use some omprovement. - Lovely owner and very friendly. Great location on the Main street, fantastic to drive around the area. Great experience checking in. The room is fair size, and thanks a lot to the owners for putting us at the first floor, not the ground. You can actually see the ocean from the room's windows so could have charged extra! Room officially hosts up to five people, yet only two cups are provided. Shower cabin is very dirty inside, with months of slime built up inside - can understand as the room service only looks inside, never actually uses it so probably cannot see. The water in the shower almost overflowed as the drain was clogged with lots o hair, not cleaned a long time either. Very confusing window opening mechanism (for foreigners haha, you need to push the lock in and then turn the handle).
- Michelle (3/5): I don’t know how they can charge people money for this place! - Location. That’s about the only positive I could come up with! Beds were woeful, I mean the worst I’ve ever experienced. Worn to an inch of their life! Springs sticking into us all night. They’re concave!! Bathroom is old and shower was boiling hot, 3rd degree burns territory.
Duvet was worn. Draft in the window. So bad. Complete rip off. We stayed for a wedding in the Spanish Armada nearby. It actually brought down the weekend as it was so poor.

- Dirk (10/5): -
- Barbara (9/5): Great location - Great location. Walking distance to everything. Clean facilities and kettle in the room. The bed was not great.
- Allan (3/5): Disappointing considering the high rating - The location Felt dirty and toilet stank. Cannot believe the rating of this place is so high. Very disappointing
- James_B_ (10/5): - It was a lovely central location perfect for a stay in Miltown and there were no issues whatsoever. I like the fact that it's still tied in with the local pub (and it's a lovely pub too) N/A
- Giuseppina (6/5): - Location was great. The bed was very uncomfortable.
- maurice (10/5): Very pleased - Everything was supplied for our needs and comfort very comfy clean bed. Fabulous shower! The stairs were quit twisty. If you have a disability request downstairs
- adrianus (3/5): Unsatisfactory Stay - Overpaid and Underdelivered! - Unsatisfactory Stay - overpaid and underdelivered!
Firstly, the so-called “free parking” is on the high street, which was extremely busy, especially on the Saturday afternoon when we arrived. Carrying three suitcases up two flights of very steep, narrow stairs was also a real struggle.
Our room was advertised with a bathroom, but it was actually located on the landing outside, not en suite. To make matters worse, it quickly became clear that the family in the room above us were also sharing this bathroom, which is completely unacceptable. I ended up having to clean the toilet myself after their children had left a mess, and we then had the awkward situation of having to discuss with the other family “whose” bathroom it actually was. We had been told it was ours, but since their room had no bathroom at all, of course they needed access too. The other family complained to Booking.com, received a refund, and left, which says a lot. Not at all what you want to deal with after a six hour drive.
The room itself was noisy, being right on the main street, and although it was just about comfortable, the Wi Fi did not reach the top floor, meaning we had to rely on 3G. The beds, pillows, duvets, and linens were very tired and in need of upgrading.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The only positive was Olivia, the young lady who let us in, she was helpful, apologetic, and explained that there had been a double booking by mistake. Unfortunately, despite her efforts, the overall stay was far from satisfactory. The price we were charged (€ 150) was absolutely way too much for what we received!
- Janne (9/5): - Lovely large room and private bathroom. Right in the middle of the little town.
- Goggin (9/5): -
- Nitesh (1/5): The listing was misleading, and overall experience was extremely disappointing, would not recommend. - Nothing, room was shady and staff attitude too. We booked this hotel specifically because it was advertised with an attached private bathroom, but on arrival we were given a room with a shared bathroom with another room. This was especially unacceptable as we were traveling with kids. The room itself was moldy, suffocating, and unhygienic — far from the standard you would expect. It was so bad that we decided not to stay at all. Very misleading listing and a very disappointing experience.
