The entire hotel was so very clean…it was a breath of fresh air compared to most hotels. The room was also very clean and very comfortable. I was a few hours later than my anticipated arrival time and had to wait a little bit at the front desk to check in. There was a sign stating they were helping other guests and would return shortly…but maybe there should be an alert to let them know someone has approached the front desk?

- Bridget (10/5): - We like this hotel a lot. The carpeting looked very worn in our room but otherwise was good. The bar and restaurant were great and the food was excellent. There was a fire in the laundry room and the alarm got us up early and more than once. We weren’t given any information and when we asked a worker he was very short with us. Everyone else was so nice and we will be staying again.

Fitness center was the exact same setup. Unless you must have a Bar or Pool at your hotel save your $

Was disappointed that suite I booked could not accommodate pet so they put us on the 3rd floor in a king room and did not charge pet fee. Thought having a restaurant on site was good idea but food was mediocre and breakfast was sit down so we didn't use that paid service at all. I will research the hotel better in future stays.

- Naomi (8/5): - Our housekeeping experience was disappointing. We requested room service, but our sheets and comforters were not changed—the housekeeper simply reused the same ones. We also asked for a second comforter, which was never provided. Aside from that, our overall stay was good. On the morning of checkout, the chef in the lobby did something amazing for my kids. They wanted hot chocolate, but there were only two Swiss Miss packets left and I have three children. He went out of his way to bring us hot water and find a third packet so all of them could enjoy it. I truly appreciated this, especially since the day before my kids had been told that there was no hot chocolate available. We’ve stayed at several Hilton locations, and unfortunately, our housekeeping experiences have been consistently below expectations. However, I want to highlight the kindness and thoughtfulness of the chef, which made a big difference to us.

- Daniel (10/5): Close to IUP, very clean, definitely recommend 👌 - Staff memebers were super friendly, always smiling. Hotel literally next to IUP, check out at 12pm which was great for an extra hour of sleep, pool was clean, overall hotel was clean, and bar staff was also awesome! Fridge in room seemed to not work at it should, even at max cooling temp, door on shower wouldn't shut all the way, so water would come out of the shower into the floor, a little hazard if someone would sleep and fall.

The beds were comfy and the digital keys worked perfectly. It was unexpected to find such a nice hotel in a small town. This is an excellent place to stay and we will be back.

- Josh (2/5): They changed our booking blaming us for their err - Upon arrival, despite having rented a room with two queen beds and showing the hotel receptionist, she informed us that we no longer have that because the reservation was changed to a king bed. When I explained that that is not going to work because we have two children staying with us, she said That unfortunately, we would have to change. I showed her the confirmation email and she began getting defensive and very hostile as if I was being hostile toward her when I was merely advocating for my needs in our families needs. I eventually just put my eyes down and said I will not be arguing with her, but that we need this to be changed. She eventually did change it, but only after saying that it had been our problem even though I informed her that we had booked through a hotels.com. She said that sometimes bookings get changed and I said well that is really not good business and that would not be my problem, but a problem between the hotel in Hotels.com. She informed me that it was my problem. I picked up the general manager‘s card quietly and continue to look down until she said that she will be trying to make some changes in the computer. She then told me that she didn’t mean to say that it was my problem. She then did proceed to change the room and find a room for us. That did have to clean beds, which I thanked her for. She never apologized for her bad behavior.

- Disney1974 (10/5): Only choice in Indiana! - Hilton Garden Inn is the only choice in Indiana. The leadership team is exceptional as they provide a consistent high level of service and quality. The team is engaged and a true reflection of their leaders. While everyone working there is great, I would like to shoutout a few superstars: Ashlee, Jessica, and Faith at the front desk. Cassidy in the restaurant remembered us from prior visits and a true shining star when seeing her at daily breakfast. Thank you for providing a great place of stay in Indiana!!

- Hannah (4/5): - Undoubtably the worst experience I have had. Staff was not very friendly did not want to answer questions and made assumptions. Claiming they notified me of the huge increased authorization fee and they did not. Tried to over charge me for our breakfast that was included in our room. Staff actively talking about me and my group right in front of us. Very unprofessional and rude. More than less just tried to take advantage.
