Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): Modern living in the heart of Queen West - I had a great stay at this conveniently located lodging. Very clean with attractive furnishings and a great view of Queen St and the city! Many thanks, I will definitely come and stay again!
- Earl&Fun (8/5): Nice, quiet condo - New, nicely kept condo, with 2 bedrooms. Close to restaurants on Queen St., on the west side of Toronto.
Eclectic mix of shops and food; Food Co. grocery store a block and a half away.
Condo includes full kitchen with full size fridge/freezer as well as washer/dryer. Includes WiFi, but the television is a bit of a challenge to find local stations, but with Roku, has plenty of other channels.
Three level garage below the building with a specific parking spot for the condo. The maze-like garage is not well marked, but with instructions from the condo owner, we were able to find our parking spot.
As this is a condo and not a hotel, communicated with condo owner via text. There is a front desk (security guard) on the ground floor. Building access via security fob or key.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Surely destined to become a slum. - Garage door opener we received didn't work. Had to wait in car for someone else to drive out of the parking garage.
Signage inside the garage was useless. Frustrating trying to find our way in or out.
Hallway carpets in the building were badly stained.
Garbage in the bin under the kitchen sink.
Opened cereal boxes in kitchen cupboards.
Used coffee pod still in coffee maker.
Expired eggs and other items left in fridge.
No dressers in bedrooms. Just a bed and one tiny end table. No surface to put anything on.
No counter top or hooks in bathrooms, just one towel rack over the toilet.
No hand towels or face cloths, just two bath towels in each bathroom. Not sure they were unused. Found bed linen in the dryer.
No wrapped soaps or shampoo like one would find in a regular hotel, instead there were half used bottles of Axe and Head and Shoulders shampoo. No shower gel. Not what I would call hygienic.
The closet in the main bedroom was unusable -- 2 feet wide with sliding doors so just a 12 inch dark space to reach into.
Fist-sized holes had been punched into the doors and walls. These had been badly patched with who knows what.
A mysterious exposed wire ran along the living room ceiling to one of the sprinklers.
We have photos of all of these things if you'd care to see them.
- Darrell (8/5): Nice place - The check in instructions were very helpful and precise. The garage was pretty difficult to navigate, but again, the instructions were very helpful. The condo itself was very nice, comfortable, and quiet. I will stay here again if the opportunities allow.
- George (6/5): Downtown Toronto condo - Was clean. Beds were low to ground because of no box springs. Past holes in wall were not fixed properly and drew the eye to them. Parking was tricky to get at. Overall, was good and decently priced as compared to a downtown hotel.
