I don't understand why you would have a bed that is so hard. Most people I think sleep in a bed in their own home that is much more comfortable, so why does the hotel think it is a good idea to make people sleep on a bed that is so uncomfortable that you cannot sleep except at out sheer exhaustion. Hotel, do better.

- Sydney (9/5): - Facilities very clean. Crisp, modern styling. Kitchen in the suite was well stocked for food preparation. Breakfast area had metal utensils instead of single-use cutlery and plates. The guinea pigs in a cage in the lobby area were cute, although I wonder if all the human traffic bothered them. There was a constant whirring sound which I could not turn off. It was hard to tell if it was a permanently running bathroom fan or the fridge near the bathroom.

- Dena (10/5): - We booked a few rooms as we were in town for a family wedding and each room was clean (most important), and the full kitchen in each room was a huge help. There was an apartment size fridge, a convention oven/microwave combo and even a hot plate and electric tea kettle, with all the dishes you could want. The breakfast buffet was superb. Many great options including make-your-own waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches, toast, fruit… we enjoyed the lobby area as well and often gathered there in the evenings to chat and share snacks.

- TheEdge93534 (10/5): Don’t hesitate! - Our first time in a Home2 Suites hotel and it was a welcomed surprise after a 8 hour driving day for myself and my beautiful wife. Check-in was easy with a very kind lady Christine. Our very nice room with queen bed was warm on arrival, comfortable, clean, and perfect for our one night stay. Microwave/convection oven was nice for warming water for our tea. Located close to fast food options and hot breakfast options in hotel are excellent, no need to go anywhere else. Indoor pool looked inviting so bring swimsuits for early morning swim. We would not hesitate to stay again when in Fort St John.

- F5143ZHrichardp (10/5): Another great night - Clean room with a full sized fridge! Seriously, it’s a great place with great rates. The breakfast was fresh, with the best eggs and waffles. Pillows were a little thin, but the mattress and sheets made up for it. Big parking lot, with lots of turning room.

Please update website regarding shuttle to the airport. Was surprised to learn it does not operate on weekends. Unexpected $50 taxi fee.

- Millicent (2/5): Dangerous Situation - Our family appreciated the morning breakfast. We were unaware that it was a pet friendly hotel until check-in. While checking in we spoke with Front desk informing them that our daughter was anaphylactic and we would appreciate that we were put on the floor that did not have pets. She said that the third floor didn’t have any pet or that there was no pets allowed on the third floor. We got our room key and within an hour of being in, the room beside us the lady coming out of it walked out with her dog and a massive dog. We were speechless. We rushed downstairs and spoke with front desk, asking them why knowing our daughter was enough anaphylactic they would put a guest with a dog right next to our room. They apologize informed us that the front desk the worker gave us the wrong information at the time of check and that the whole hotel was pet friendly, they moved us to a different room second floor I believe upon entering the room all we could smell was wet carpet, and mouldy smell which obviously from having pets in that room the carpet smelled moldy. We decided to just complete our stay and leave the next morning. This was a very scary situation that could’ve gone very horribly, we stayed and we left the next day we took every precaution we could take by taking stairs the stairs and the elevators because there were dogs constantly in the elevator and kept our daughter outside of the hotel as much as possible .

Best for business trip. - It was nice that the staff approved of my request to be move to ground floor since I have plenty of heavy equipment I got to take in with me every single day. The overall stay was comfortable. I really like the room having an office space and lots of room for dining. Good internet speed. Just wish the wired connection works though.

- Pamela (10/5): Beautiful Travelers Hotel with ALL the Amenities You Want. - We re-routed to Fort St John and booked late. Got an excellent room at an excellent price. It is a thoughtfully designed facility with lovely staff. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub after we arrived. I would stay there again! My only complaint is minor, but meaningful. The hotel touts all their energy-saving, climate protecting initiatives on multiple posters in the lobby, hallways and elevator. At the same time, they have a comfortable seating area outside the front door with a gas-fed fire pit running 24 hours a day. I suggested this was an unnecessary amenity on a sunny 85 degree summer day. I was told that people like to sit around the fire…
- edr172 (10/5): Wonderful stay - They have the most amazing showers here. The rooms are up-to-date in great shape and clean. The breakfast was amazing anything you could ever want. I will seek out this chain in other cities on our travels. I doubt though any of them will be as great as this one was.

- norcaltravis (10/5): Amazing! Book immediately! - WOW. If you have found this hotel you can stop reading and book here immediately. If for some reason you want more information, here it is. It is located in a clean, safe area right off the highway. Although there's not much of a neighborhood or charm to the area, it is centrally located. Plenty of restaurants and delivery options nearby. Anne-Marie was absolutely amazing. I stayed with a brand new (to me) 5 month old puppy rescue who has boundless energy. Anne-Marie helped me select a room with easy in/out access and loaded us with treats and love. She was a total gem and deserves a big raise. The hotel is sparkly new and super clean. Room was also sparkly new and super clean. There is a comfy seating area with fire pit out front and although it faced the parking lot, it was cozy and enabled my pup to say hi to all the incoming guests which she loved. Lastly, my pup had an accident in her crate late night when the laundry room was closed. The crew lept into action and opened it up for me so I could wash her blanket. In the morning I went to put it in the dryer only to find that a staff member put in the dryer for me and it was ready to go first thing. Truly above and beyond and showed how generous and caring the staff are. Didn't I tell you to stop reading and book this place? Book it!
- Dan (10/5): - We enjoyed the large room with all the necessities for the traveler. Lots of counter space was great. Felt bright with the mellow yellow wall color, loved the shower! It was sad to me that all of the lobby employees that I encountered appeared so sad. No one smiled. That tells me they aren't happy working there. This is something management needs to tend to - be GOOD to your hard working employees please.

The breakfast was delicious, the room was perfect and clean and they even handed out cookies as a night time snack (which my daughter really appreciated). The gym was well stocked with equipment we needed and the pool was perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. We also appreciated the couches and gas fire pit that was left on outside if anyone wanted to cozy up to it. Thank you so much!

- Wendy (10/5): My FSJ go-to - Always a pleasure. The lady at reception is always so pleasant, makes me feel so welcome. Rooms are very nice, having a hotel with a kitchenette makes a much better experience for trips more than one night. This hotel is always clean and well kept.
