- Sarah (2/5): - I paid for the room online and they would not let me check in! Horrible experience
- Patrice (6/5): - The room was supposed to be smoke free. I had to change rooms after spraying Lysol for smoke. I was charged extra $5 for insurance online. Over it was just ok.
- Myron (8/5): Good motel at a reasonable price - The stay at the Highland Inn was good.
- Myron (10/5): - Business stay.
- Mary (8/5): - It was a good place to stay
- Tyrell (10/5): - Good service
- Mary (10/5): - Staff was great. Clean, good area.
- Matthew (2/5): - Lights in RR wouldn't turn on every time. Water damage on wall in RR. Bed comfortable is only plus. Cheap though, you get what you pay for
- Joan (4/5): - The rooms could be updated, can tell it had water damage had water stains on the ceiling the rooms did not smell to great

- jessicavY781JY (2/5): Black mold Book through Hotels.com owned by Expedia they don’t care fake pictures are on the website - Place has black mold in room 109 The management there does not care. I was there less than an hour when I noticed the ceiling on restroom was covered with mold. They refused to refund me. This place is a disaster health hazard. Stay away from this place
- Tanya (8/5): - A good option if you are looking for a room at a budget price. It was just right for a quick, get off of the highway, stay. The bed was comfortable (and I'm very sensitive to an uncomfortable one) and the room was clean (although the bathroom needed some maintenance to the tile). Really the only problem was a terrible air conditioner. We turned the temperature down to 64 and it probably didn't get down less than 70 in the room. It also seemed quite humid.
- Jacob (2/5): - The rooms smell and shower handles broken with tie straps.
- alexander (10/5): - Good
- Calvin (10/5): - Everyone was very nice and quick to help when tv messed up, they had it fixed in a few seconds. We have stayed here many times, always clean and pleasant.
- Cindy L (10/5): - Pool
- Keesha (10/5): - It was convenient
- Donna (8/5): I’d book it again - Check in and out was simple and quick. The room had some gnats but nothing on the infested side, which is the reason for 4 stars. It was the price I wanted to pay $85 with tax and served its purpose for one night.
- Terri (6/5): A hair above sleazy - Cheap, close to venue we were attending. Bed was clean, comfortable, floors were dirty, bathroom had hair balls, and the drawers were dirty, mattresses did have bed bug covers on them so i did feel relieved enough to stay the night.
- CINDY (8/5): Need structure repairs to rooms - Rooms need to repaired toilet was loose tank ank sink was cracked no vent fan covers paint on ceiling in bathroom was coming down cracks in walks in bathroom.. bathroom needs new tub new toilet new sink. Refrig was froze up. but as for as cleanbeding and towels it was good
- Bear (10/5): - The beds and towels were neat and the area was peaceful
- Bryant (8/5): - Easy check in
Rooms clean and neat
Everything good besides the small parking
- Tracy (4/5): - They need to make sure you have toilet paper and Kleenex in the room
- Dominique (10/5): - Love the bathroom, looked like it was newly renovated. Only problem was my TV didn't work. But I was only there one night.
- Tracy (8/5): - It would have been better if the two rooms above would have been quite
- Tracy (10/5): - It's very clean and comfy
- George (8/5): - It served a purpose
- Tracy (4/5): - I'll never use expedia again. Going through them it cost me 200$ a week in higher prices.
- Saul (4/5): - Property seemed clean until roaches started appearing.
- Theresa (2/5): - Nothing
- Leilannie (10/5): - My stay was awesome
- Katie (2/5): - **NOT SAFE** I hope to God someone sees this review before booking a room at this hotel!! This is BY FAR the worst experience I've ever had staying at a hotel. When walking in my room there was a gagging smell of mildew and mold. Things I discovered during my one-night stay multiple cigarette burns in the comforters, severe property damage in my room, large white stains on the floor carpet, mold growing under the light fixtures on desk, you pay for one TV channel literally one channel, no accessible phone in room it was disconnected so you can't even call the hotel desk you have to use your cell phone to call the hotel if you have a issue, an uncountable amount of unknown disgusting stains literally everywhere floor/walls/sheets, I was blow drying my hair at 9:00 at night and a breaker blew which left my room without power in the bathroom so NO electricy couldn't see anything and the AC was also on that breaker so NO air conditioning in the room. I used my cell phone to call the hotel because the phone in the room was disconnected I spoke to a woman that told me it wasn't the hotel's fault that they were working on it. 5 hours later in the middle of the night the breaker was finally fixed. It was 90° that day so I spent 5 hours in my hotel room sweating and couldn't sleep because it was so hot. Oh and my personal favorite after taking a shower I noticed something on the floor behind the toilet so I looked and discovered a used needle syringe located right behind the toilet.
- Nathan (6/5): Good Luck - Be sure you dress in the bathroom before getting out. No knocking from housekeeping, they just walk right in.
- Robert (10/5): - Courteous staff.
- Carolyn (6/5): - I booked for Highland Inn but was sent to an adjacent hotel owned by the same company in which I didn’t prefer. I only stayed because I would have lost my money This hotel was one of those where people actually live. It was ok for the price I guess. Also the fire detector was not even hooked up. The microwave was old and rusted in the inside.
- Steven (8/5): - Nice place would stay here again
- Steven (8/5): - Very nice would recommend
Clean, up to date furnishings..
Parking lot small, cramped parking.
- Chasity (6/5): - The rooms do not look like the pictures but if your looking for a short one night stay than that’s the place. Just your basic room and service
- Paul (10/5): - Clean and comfortable room
- Phillip (2/5): Never Again - The first room we stayed in had no Air Conditioner that worked. No one at the office would answer the phone. The next morning I had them to change rooms and it was fine until the cleaning lady started beating on my door at 9 am.
- Theodis (6/5): - Stayed here multiple times. It’s always been rather nice, this time I am unsure what the difference was between the last time and this.
Room was hardly clean , sink had hair from prior stay.
- Catherine (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay
- Tracy (10/5): - Hhh
- Tracy (10/5): - Clean
- Catherine (6/5): - The pool is closed
- Benjamin (10/5): - Na
- Catherine (6/5): - Hey nice
- Catherine (10/5): - Very clean very nice it smell clean and the the people that work here are very very nice and they comfort you with everything that you need if you don't have it you ask for it they will make sure you get it
- Robert (10/5): - Even though the guy at the front desk was a little less than personable, i had a good stay. Clean, quiet, easy check in and out. Will stay here again.
- TAMMY (8/5): Dont judge a book by its cover - Wasnt expecting anything fancy but didnt know what we were going to walk into... actually wasnt bad for the price. Have to say the best part of the room was the shower! But all in all not a bad place to stay. And it was right next door to daiquiris!!!!
- Cana (2/5): - This place was disgusting. The room smelled of smoke, the chair had a hint of vomit, metal was rusty, carpet had a 12 inch area between the beds with some kind of jelly-like substance that was not dry and could have been cleaned.
- Erina (4/5): - We read a few reviews that said the property was clean but I beg to differ. Our towels had pubic hairs embedded in them, same with the “new” clean ones we received our second night. The property was in poor condition with lots of scuff marks all over the walls and half done repairs done on the walls. We saw quite a few bugs during our stay, one was on our bed when I killed it. The bedding had a few red stains on it, and holes burned into them. When first coming into our room it smelled of cigarette smoke although it said it was a non-smoking room. People were extremely noisy at late hours of the night, yelling and talking extremely loudly right by our room keeping us awake or waking us up. We will be doing more research on the places we stay from here in our. There is more to say but I think you get the gist.
- Brian (4/5): - Bed was not comfortable. Didn’t have any soap at all, lucky I bring my own. Some spots on the floor were definitely in need of a good washing cause it felt like some gel was imbedded into the carpet. Some people staying there must have been on crack cause they were up outside walking around talking to themselves for about 3 hours till around 1am. I checked out early due to an emergency but since I paid for the room online they couldn’t give me a receipt or refund. Should have taken pictures of some of the issues.
- Aaron (2/5): - I get there and they had no room for me. Booked a room online and the lady at the counter was baffled as to how I was able to reserve a room through Expedia. It will take a few days to have the refund to my credit card for the hotels mistake, not mine! So I cannot rate the quality of anything else about this hotel.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Substandard Hotel Stay - Upon arrival, The requested room in front was not granted. The nonsmoking room smelled like smoke. A burn hole in the spread and a leaking toilet. I was moved to another room the next day. I left to take care of my business with maid service request sign on the door. When I returned between 1 and 2 a.m. the maid had been in my room but not cleaned the room. The maid service sign was still there. The window curtain was drawn back, leaving my possessions on display. The pillow cases and sheets were taken from the bed. The covers were bald up on the couch. The carpet had not been vacuumed. The trash not emptied; nor the face bowl, toilet or tub cleaned. Bath towels weren't replaced. Reported it to desk clerk on duty but he was not wanting to deal with it. I went back to the room took pics and video to show him. It was then he offered me two clean pillowcases and one sheet. Several hours later showed the video and pics to the new desk clerk and she called the manager of the maid service, who was in denial even after showing the pics and video. I ask it be taken care of and left for the day. I returned later that night around 10p.m. and nothing was not done again. I explained my situation again and had to drive to the east coast of GA in several hours. I need to get some sleep. New desk clerk gave me another room because my check out was @ 11. I said I want this experience reported to the owner and the BBB because this hotel stay was very unpleasant, unsatisfactory & needs upgrade.
- shalin (4/5): - They property is located next door to a bar so if you want a quiet night's sleep forget about it. Also, we asked for a printed receipt as our trip was a business expense. We were told that since the room was booked online she couldn't give us a receipt.......it had to be printed from our email.
- Brandie (6/5): Fine for the price - My stay was fine for the price. Pair of socks left in the corner that looked like they had been there for awhile. Blow dryer didnt work.
- Alyssa (4/5): - We booked this hotel for a concert. Upon pulling into the parking lot, we immediately realized that this was not a safe place for 2 young girls to be staying. It was full of trucks and vans. This building looked to be very old and was basically an old (apparently updated from what I saw online in the pics) motel. We decided to not even check in and go somewhere else. I wish someone would contact me to get my money back.
- Ronnie (4/5): Not impressed - Not impressed
- Tim (10/5): - Staff was friendly. Check in was easy. Room was average.
- matthew (6/5): - Nice room. All amenities worked. New mattress needed.
- Bridget (6/5): - I left my headphones I was only gone for about 10 mins when back they was gone
- Sacha (10/5): - Very friendly staff. Always ready to meet your needs as a guest. Very accommodating.
- Shelia (8/5): Room is nice - Nice and peaceful
- Verified traveler (4/5): Won't be back - Our Toilet was rocking, Air was barely blowing and the tv remote didn't work. The water was going from cold to warm.
- Michael (8/5): OK - The room was clean and comfortable. The microwave and coffee pot did not work. The parking spots are too narrow and are limited.
- DAN (6/5): - Appears clean but needs some maintenance (shows its age). No lobby access at any time which gave me some fleeting concern for safety. The phone in the room seems to be a prop as it did not work. And yes it was plugged in.
- Christopher G (4/5): Kinda Rude - TV didnt work & clerk did little to help
- Athanasia (2/5): - You get what you pay for. Didn’t even go in the room after looking at the outside.
- Sarah (2/5): - The outside of the building seemed unsafe. When I arrived to check in, the lobby was closed and there was no one at the front desk. No one answered the phone either. I had to drive 45 minutes away to stay at another hotel and still was charged for my stay at Highland Inn despite contacting Expedia customer service twice and Highland Inn not answering the phone again.
- Audrey (2/5): - Need remodeling and pictures do not correspond with in person visit.
- Kashawn (2/5): - Did not check in facility was not clean, unsanitary
- Shanne (8/5): - We were very happy with our stay. Nothing fancy but rooms were clean and quiet and the cleaning staff was amazing!
- Jennifer (8/5): It was ok - Not the worst. Beds were clean and so was bathroom. Wall was dirty and so was chair... see pic. Beds were hard. No bugs or roaches like other customers reported. Had issue with 1st room smoke detector beeping, but we were given another room immediately. I'd stay again.
- Aubrey (8/5): Good except for weird smell - Check in was easy and customer service was great but the door was wide open to our room when we got there and it had a weird smell. It was very comfortable otherwise.
- Cecil (10/5): One heck of a nice stay - Had a very pleasant stay for a week, as they had housekeeping everyday. It is very quiet at night and room is very comfortable. They do not have any kind of breakfast in fact the lobby is kept locked. There are plenty of restaurants near by.
- Cecil (10/5): A very pleasant stay - I really liked my 6 day stay as it was quiet, room was clean when I came in and housekeeping came everyday.
Bfast, now thats the only bad thing as they do not provide any kind of bfast as they kept the lobby door locked.
- COSTA (8/5): - Nice
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room had roaches, spider webs on the head of the headboards and not even a safety latch on the door
- David (8/5): Great hotel at a good price - Pleasantly surprised as to the cleanliness of the Hotel. I have stayed at “Branded” hotels which left much to be desired relative to this establishment. I WILL stay there again. Convenient to the Tanger Outlets
- stephanie (8/5): - The property was old but clean. The problem I had was with Expedia. I couldn’t find the right hotel so I contacted Expedia with my itinerary number & they said I had no reservation. They were no help. It was very aggravating to have the itinerary number and couldn’t get any help. I did eventually find the right hotel & I did have a reservation through Expedia 😡. Very dissatisfied
- John (6/5): - Rooms were dingy. Had an order. Beds were hard....over priced
- Zachary (2/5): Nightmare motel - Absolutely horrible place to stay, you feel unsafe and the workers at the desk are rude. They run a scam operation here. They tried to keep the women change in front of me till she checked out. The room was nasty, holes in the wall, no fire alarm, lights didn’t work and many other things. You also can book a room if you stay within 30 minutes of the hotel so tells you what type of crowd this hotel attracts. I would never stay here again.
- Alejandro (8/5): - Ok
- Corey (6/5): - AC worked good. Had the little roaches seen 3. Was not worth $350 for 2 nights more like a $80 a night place
- Curtis (4/5): - Nothing
- Judah (10/5): - Comfortable
- Jennifer (6/5): - There was nothing unique about this property.
- Darrell (8/5): - Location with stores and restaurants
- Juan Miguel (10/5): - Todo muy bien
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Roach motel
