- William (10/5): Way above expectations! If I am ever in Minneapolis again, I will definitely stay there. - Fantastic rooms, extremely large, great condition. Great location downtown within a few minutes walk to the ballpark, and restaurants around it. They even had complimentary drinks each evening for those who wanted a drink. Nothing was bad. No complaints at all.

There was a public parking ramp right next to the hotel, which was convenient for us and we didn’t have to pay the valet parking fee! Room was clean ! Staff was great .. didn’t have to wait to check in!! Breakfast room was nice and the breakfast was outstanding! Such nice employees, making sure everything was cleaned and filled!! I like the safety of using your room key to get up on the elevators also!

The nightstand had something left from a previous guest that was either a used pair of underwear or a bandana, the water pressure in the shower was horrible!! When a person books a hotel way in advance and see that it has a good rating you are going to assume that it is super nice but no I don’t pay that kind of money to have it be shit like that!

- Roving47142447598 (8/5): Concert stay - Stayed a night here for a concert that was suppose to be at the Filmore but got moved to another venue last min. Hotel is easy to find. Room was good. One of the better beds I slept in at a Hilton property. It was a busy night and took a bit for valet to respond but not there fault. Trip was a success and I had no issues.

- Mallori (3/5): - Room was nice, clean, and spacious. We requested early check in and were told that we couldn’t do that until the day of when it is first come first serve. We showed up on the day of our check in at 10:30 and were told we would get put on a list for early check in and would get a text when a room was ready. After waiting 3-4 hours, calling every hour, we showed up on up at the hotel and see 6 people checking into rooms, which is really frustrating because we never got a text. They finally give us a room, but I got charged double, which was resolved, (thank god). They also take out a $250 damage fee and are supposed to refund it at the end, however it has been 5 days now and still no refund, and J know for a fact that there was no damage to the room. Staff were also very short and rude. Overall, would not stay here again.

Ran out of coffee mugs, which I need a real mug. Just my thing. Manager’s reception, fun and friendly, but served only certain drinks, which a CA Embassy just in January, made anything you asked for. Still so nice to have. Horderves, were ok. Room problems were resolved quickly. The hotel listens and responds quickly. Bed was hard. Toilet was super low. Refrigerator was totally uneven. Yes, we just adjusted it ourselves, but shouldn’t need to. Not much blankets on bed. Pillows only two. LOVED having ottomans in the room! Would be nice for wet bar to have a kitchen towel, and dish soap.

- kylebE4224NL (10/5): A constant solid stay every time. - This is my second time at this location. I enjoy it for the location, and the atmosphere it provides. The rooms are always well maintained for what they cost, and the hotel itself is always quiet and clean. The bar is lovely, and open late enough that you don't need to rush back to the hotel at the end of the day. Front desk is super helpful when I need something, or have a question about the area.
- patrickh745 (10/5): Best "Bang For Buck" in Downtown Minneapolis - We always stay at the Downtown Embassy Suites when travel to Minneapolis. We are huge Vikings and Timberwolves fan and attend at least 10 games per year, you cannot beat the location of the Embassy Suites. But location is not everything! The rooms are always clean and large with a private sitting area, the staff is one the friendliest one will ever meet, and nothing beats an Embassy Suites breakfast. Their gym on the -2 floor is huge and the free happy hour every night allows us to get ready for a basketball game or just a night out on the town. I highly, highly recommend this place over all the other hotels because the "Bang for Buck" is unmatched.

We didn’t have to rent a car so it is a do-able walkable location. Clean, huge, vintage building, high-end fixtures and furniture. Impressed with decent breakfast. Security was present and felt safe.

We were able to take the sky way to and from the Target Center, which was a huge bonus considering the freezing temperature outside. All of the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. Our only complaint for our stay is that our room temperature was too cold. We tried turning the temperature up on the thermostat but the temperature barely changed.

This is pretty much to be expected at any major Downtown area, but was walkable to many business and not too far from the Mall of America.

Terrible service, rude staff, poor breakfast, and dirty rooms. - We stayed at the hotel for 12 days, from Christmas through six days after New Year’s Eve. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff were extremely rude. The breakfast was terrible. Beverages were not replenished, and on some days there was only plastic cutlery available. The worst part, however, was the housekeeping—or complete lack of it. During our entire 12-day stay, the room was never properly cleaned. The floor was not cleaned, dirty dishes were not removed, the bed sheets were not changed, and even towels were not replaced unless we called the front desk to request new ones. On December 28th, we contacted one of the managers, but nothing changed. We then traveled to another city for two nights (without checking out), and when we returned, the room was exactly as we had left it—messy, dirty, and with the trash still there. We contacted another manager and showed him the condition of the room. He appeared very concerned and told us that the general manager, Dan, would contact us. That never happened. This was a total lack of respect for customers. We chose this hotel because it is part of the Hilton brand, but after this experience, we will not stay at any Hilton hotel again.

Very friendly staff in both the bar, reception and breakfast area. Comfortable beds in the rooms and great shower products. Great breakfast selection. Also very much appreciated the great desk area in the room and the late check out for working remotely During breakfast, butter and condiments kept being removed and returned from the serving area (seemed to be confusion on what time breakfast ended between the staff). Pool towels are reaching end of life and could be would benefit from being replaced but these are just small suggestions on an overall excellent stay
- GABRIEL (1/5): Pior hotel que já ficamos na vida! - A localização do hotel e o tamanho dos quartos são ótimos. (ficamos no melhor quarto do hotel, os de esquina) Ficamos por 12 dias entre Natal e depois do ano novo, desde a chegada fomos recebidos de uma forma rude e mal educada pelos recepcionistas, parecia que estavam fazendo um favor por nos atender. O café da manhã era péssimo, talheres de plástico e não repunham os alimentos nem café. Praticamente todos os dias pedíamos mais café e leite, que acabava e demoravam horrores para repor. Os quartos eram muito bons mas desde o dia que entramos nunca foram totalmente arrumados. Reclamamos com 2 gerentes diferentes sobre a arrumação dos quartos e nada mudou. O lixo não era tirado, a louça suja não era recolhida, o piso ficou sujo do primeiro ao último dia (não podíamos tirar os sapatos dentro do quarto para não sujar nossos pés) - as camas não eram trocadas e só trocavam as toalhas quando pedíamos. Mesmo depois de reclamarmos sobre isso com os gerentes nada foi feito. Entre nosso período da hospedagem viajamos para o interior por duas noites e não fizemos checkout, avisamos que iríamos e pedimos por favor para arrumarem o quarto, quando voltamos estavam exatamente do mesmo jeito que deixamos quando saímos, nem o lixo tiraram. Pedimos para o gerente da recepção solicitar ao gerente geral do hotel que nos contactasse para relatarmos o ocorrido e ele nem se quer entrou em contato - um total desrespeito com o cliente! Fora isso, a equipe da recepção e do bar foi extremamente mal educada, sempre de cara feia e respondendo de forma grosseira! O hotel carrega uma bandeira Hilton, o que nos fez acreditar que seria um bom hotel, mas fez com que nos decepcionássemos ao extremo, foi de longe o pior hotel que já ficamos em nossa vida, com certeza nunca mais ficaremos em um Hilton - acho até feio para o booking avaliar o hotel como 4 estrelas, sendo que nem de longe este hotel vale isso!

- Thao (6/5): Would not stay here again but we’re a fan of Embassy so we’ll try other locations. Customer service need work. - It’s clean and located in a decent area. Close to light rails and very luxurious inside. Security was good, needed access key to get pretty much anywhere. Front door locks after a certain hour and requires key card which is a plus. Staff was not friendly. Did not greet us or asked if they could help us. As we dropped off our car for valet, I had to approach a staff although he saw us walking in and standing in lobby with all our luggage. When we left, we didn’t know where the valet pick up was and was by front desk. A different gentlemen was there. Just casually talking to another customer. No rush. Did not end the convo or excuse himself to see if we needed help we had all our luggage again with us and I was standing right by the valet stand as well so I’m pretty sure he know what I was needing. Never spoke or acknowledged us. Until my husband walked around and saw a sign directing to the valet pick up. Valet staff was great but everyone else can use a refresh course on customer service. We also never got our drink vouchers for j the night.

We previously stayed here in June and we loved it so much that we booked again. The hotel has awesome historic accents as you walk through the hallways (check for old mail tubes near the elevators). The free evening happy hour and breakfast are fantastic as well! The omelet makers are the best!

We enjoyed the complementary cocktails and snacks in the bar at the reception. Although wasteful to throw away the snacks after the time was up, just let people finish them. The staff at check in was very judgemental. I had paid for a more luxury room for a special occasion, and she made me feel I didn't deserve to be there. When I gave her my name for the booking she asked for id. Normal. She didn't accept my foreign license and wanted a passport. Strange, but okay. Then she wanted the booking confirmation number. Hmm... Then she asked to see my confirmation on booking com app and took my phone to check it was real and not a screenshot.

- 233peggyr (10/5): What a Treat! - We enjoy staying at the Embassy Suites in downtown Minneapolis! We schedule our Timberwolves games around access to a room at the hotel. If you haven't been there, the walkways connect the hotel to Target Center--the home of the T-Wolves and the Lynx. The rooms are clean and the showers wonderful! In the morning after your great night of sleep, you can go to second floor for a made-to-order breakfast. We take advantage of the valet parking as well. When we stay, we plan to be pampered and treated. Thanks Embassy Suites for a wonderful little getaway.

Room was a bit dirty when we checked in and there were things that could have potentially been dangerous for younger children. No fitted sheet on beds and pull out bed was coming apart and had a lot of dirt and food underneath. Furniture was broke and had nails sticking out. Privacy thing on door was broke and there were lots of stains all over.

- B3547LJtoms (10/5): Overnight to see “A Beautiful Noise” - Stayed at the lovely Embassy Suites Downtown Minneapolis location on October 4. I chose this location due to the proximity to The Orpheum theater and Zelo restaurant. The downtown location is in a refurbished old office building or hotel. The refurbish was very well done. Our stay there was perfect. Everything was wonderful from the staff to the happy hour and breakfast. We had a corner king suite which was very well appointed. The only thing I didn’t care for is sliding barn style doors on the bedroom and bathroom. Those doors do not lend themselves to privacy. My own personal taste. Everything else was excellent. What a great location.

- S428YMroberty (10/5): Great place to stay! - Very nice hotel, and one of the quietest I have ever stayed in. The rooms were well furnished and cozy, and the views of downtown were beautiful!

- Maria (10/5): - Excellent stay for the cost. We had a spacious suite. Breakfast included and in the afternoon they provided complimentary drink and appetizers. Great experience overall.
- Joy (10/5): - Great stay. If you don't go with valet parking, be prepared to walk a bit carrying stuff if you use the cheaper public parking (only $40 for 2 nights versus the quoted $50/day on the hotel site). It was tricky to know how to get into the building after parking as most of the doors were locked. We were walking around that building with other hotel people trying to find a way in. Some explanation about public parking when booking would have been very helpful!
- Melody (6/5): - Me & my family stayed in a suite at this hotel as we were in town to run the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon. The hotel is very convenient but we were on the side facing “Tom’s Watch Bar” and it got very noisy at night (music). Also, our floors were never vacuumed or swept during our entire 4 night stay and both beds were only made 2 of the days. The complimentary happy hour was nice though and the staff were friendly!
- Erik (10/5): - Very unique experience. It’s was clean, the staff were nice. Parking is expensive, but what upscale downtown hotel isn’t. The pool was actually pretty cool. It was the standard good Hilton chain experience

- angelabR6526JE (10/5): Prime location - Location is fabulous, bus and train within 1 block, very clean and quiet, pantry well stocked and several great restaurants within walking distance. Ryan at the Emerald Bar kept us laughing during happy hour.
- 161masont (10/5): Exceptionally Business Friendly - We have held several group events at the Embassy Suites Downtown. The location is perfect, right across the street from Fogo and Tom's Watch Bar and right next to the Lyon's pub. The rooms are amazing, the customers appreciate the extra room when we stay there. The breakfast is exceptional, options for everyone including made to order omelets. The staff and leadership at the hotel are first class. I highly recommend staying here for your next personal or business stay.
