Jeff (9/5): Very enjoyable hotel - I like that the hotel has been renovated as the locals did not have a great opinion of the hotel before the new owner bought it. I travel for business and work late so basic accommodations are all I need. There may not be a lot of amenities but it is quiet and very comfortable. Billy has been very attentive to my needs as this is not my first stay here. He takes pride in making the hotel enjoyable and comfortable.

Jeff (9/5): I will stay here again - Staff had everything ready on time and even offered an earlier check-in if I needed it. This is my second stay and have a reservation for a third. It may not be the fanciest place in Atlantic Beach but the new personnel have made every effort to improve the property. It has the basics and that's all I need. No complaints.

linda (1/5): Very rude when as a senior, I was not sure I could make the full drive which is why I called 9:30 - I was driving when I made a reservation at 9:30. Apparently the motel was already closed at the time. Arriving at 11:30 all was locked up and no one answered the bell or the phone. Left with no options, we slept in the car and planned to rest further and shower when they opened. Needing to use the restroom before opening, we went to a public park when I received a call from the manager. She asked what happened and hung up. She called back and insulted me by asking if we were running away from something and they do not allow sleeping in their parking lot. She cancelled our reservation she said she would refund our money -nope!!!!!!!!!! Very old "motel". Never got to see inside. Obviously, much older than what developed around the motel.

Dan (10/5): - If you plan to spend most of your time on the beach, fishing, exploring nearby attractions, and/or enjoying restaurants and taverns, and you’re looking for budget friendly motel to sleep and bathe, this is a fantastic choice! Has all the essentials (clean linens, comfortable beds/pillows, hot shower, A/C, microwave, coffee maker, free parking) without the extras that cost you more and hold you back from experiencing the area. The people who run this motel are incredibly nice and friendly! After crossing the bridge, it’s left/east of the Downtown Atlantic Beach Boardwalk, making it a wonderful location; it’s opposite direction from the bigger resorts/hotels (meaning less traffic, less crowds and competition for good beach/fishing spots, and more relaxed surroundings). It’s literal actual walking distance to the Beach (I carried a chair, bag, and cooler from my room to the beach multiple times per day). Additional information: I visited for the 2025 4th of July weekend (when the actual 4th fell on a Friday), so I expect my experience was about as busy as the general area ever gets. I was able to sit on the beach and watch both Atlantic Beach & Morehead City Fireworks at the same time.

There is a number posted at the office to call after hours, but that goes to a machine and they will call you back when they open the office again, so hopefully it’s not important. If you let the shower run long enough, the water does eventually get luke warm.
Verified traveler (8/5): Beach Trip - Overall the room was spacious and clean, amenities were very nice and staff was friendly. The staff were also quick and helpful regarding clean towels and linens. Everything was provided, bathroom toiletries too. Only issue was Sunday morning around 8 or 9, we were woken up by work on the roof and loud bangs. While this likely wasn’t avoidable, it was still disruptive and we were asked to move our car.

Shower had plenty of pressure but the shower head was all clogged and desperately needed to be replaced. Good property for single guy or young adult on a budget. Your wife will definitely not like it there. I was there on the off season so it probably improves when they have more staff and customers. I would give it another chance if I went down again.

It was almost like a scary movie .they lady Christina which is suppose to be a new property manager was absolutely unprofessional coming to out Door drunk muti times trying to hit on my and my family members asking for illegal drugs And the General Manager Zoey was sent text and proof of all she is not General manager ready after working for hiiton 14 years this motel needs shut down .they owner never contacted me on any .of this . The power never stayed on we would have to go pop breaker outside .NO wifi 2 weeks there AND THEY HAD NERVE TO ASK ME TO LEAVE FOR COMPLAINING NEVER OFFERED ANYTHING .THIS OWNER BETTER GET IT TOGETHER BEEN REPORTED TO LOTS OF THINGS ... DONT STAY HERE

The lamp in the bedroom was missing the blub and shade, a small child could have stuck their finger in the socket. The stove needs replacing looks more like a fire hazard. The owners have spent money on the rooms but they left nasty AZ flooring and carpet in the rooms.

I can’t believe they have people stay there and knowing the infestation.

The room was not well cleaned and dirt or stains all over floor. I left another room in Tybee island thinking it was bad and got not quite as bad. Do not use the place unless last resort.
