Stephen (10/5): - had space to park a 3 tonne truck, and a hotel room that was spacious, a shower that was powerful enough to get the deep road grime off, and an overall smooth check in / check out experience
Eleanor (2/5): - Buildings and room not like pictures. Access was by staircase at rear of property, it appeared unsafe, especially after dark. Room had no natural light, recycled air con only. Bathroom initially looked clean but shower had what looked like urine splashes around the lower walls. Building was unkempt and neglected. We returned our key and did not sleep there.
Sacha (4/5): - The place looked abandoned initially. Large entrance & foyer is all locked up & in darkness, went next door to check in at public bar. Single thin interior doors divided rooms, we could hear our neighbours conversations. gardens & traffic islands in carpark are overgrown with weeds & littered with rubbish. Our room stank terribly of cigarette smoke. Very outdated room in general. Worst hotel experience ever, felt like we were renting a dodgy hotel room by the hour, very seedy place

Staff were friendly, property would only be recommendable for someone passing through who needs a place to stay for the night.

Jill (4/5): - Nothing unique the shower collapsed the first night and stayed that way until we left. Had to boil the jug on the floor where the power point was. Hubby who is 78 had to climb on a chair as the tv had been turned off . Had no tv the first day, as someone had also removed the aerial cord behind the tv. Never did get to have a proper shower.
William (2/5): - Bad even by pub standards. Late arrival probably didn't help but the complete lack of interest from the staff started things badly and it went down hill from there. Room was hidden around the back and turned out to be down a locked hallway, nothing at all like the pictures on line. Obvious converted storeroom with no windows and a tiny tv with no means of operating it. the lack of windows was probably a blessing given the view outside was a rubbish storage area. The room itself was badly stained but reasonably clean bathroom. The outside really let the place down, filthy and damaged exterior overlooking a rubbish storage area. tried talking to staff but they were not interested in motel side of business at all. We had booked 4 nights but checked out after 1 seeking a refund for the remaining nights which was of course refused. It is possible the front rooms may have been to a better standard but we were not offered any choices. Staff attitude was basically "take it or leave it, we don't care".

Lachlan (2/5): - Stayed At acacia ridge hotel for one night got greeted by a super friendly staff member and that would have to be one of the only good things about the place as for the hotel there were cracked tiles there was a horrid smell there were 2 holes in the bathroom one covered up with heaps of silicon I could put my phone to the window and see into the whole room with there being no curtain ir anything fir privacy and as for the bathroom window There was an opening for air flow even with the window shut you can stick your phone up the angled flashing and see right into the bathroom And the beds were super uncomfortable and the pillows were that crap I had to have 3 pillows just to have some cushioning
Taututu Nooroa Agustine Junior Teokotai (4/5): - Unfortunately; I got a room that was damp and you can smell it, entry way inside was wet. Shower still had a water puddle and could feel slippery due drainage being away from shower head.
Jenna (2/5): - We expected some level of noise, music and people given the property is part of a pub. However the level of noise was extremely excessive. It was so loud, we could feel the beat of the music through the headboard of our bed. It did not stop until around 3am. At 11:30pm I went and spoke with the bar staff who were extremely apologetic and I could tell this was not the first time they had encountered this problem. They gave me a list of other places I could call to see if they had room available for us, but in the middle of the night on a Saturday, no one else had availability or open reception. The 'security' they had on the door failed to do much of anything regarding the people spilling out into the carpark who were yelling and carrying on right outside our door, scaring my 4 children. The room was as expected given the low price we paid but we knew we would only be there to shower, sleep and eat breakfast so weren't looking for luxury. The floor was stained and had an odd smell, there were two dead cockroaches in our room, and the windows either side of the door have no coverings so every time someone drove into the carpark, our room was completely illuminated by their headlights. Other than that, the facilities were as expected. A table, bar fridge and jug that both worked and were clean and usable. Bathroom was basic with towels, soap etc provided. Wouldn't stay again but probably should have expected this given the price and should have read reviews.

Kristy (2/5): - This place was absolutely putrid. Where do i begin? The staff were nice enough but the positives stop there. The room smelt like musty carpet and bleach. The floors were so filthy we had to wear shoes inside. Within 5mins my children had black feet. There was mould in the shower. Thick layers of dust everywhere. Crockery and cutlery weren't cleaned well and nothing in the room for us to wash them. I had to ask for detergent. There was mouse poo in my bed and on my pillow. Me and my kids slept in poo!! The locks on the doors weren't great and i didn't feel safe with the drunken yahooing going on at the bar connected to the accommodation. There were rooms we saw with broken windows. There is a train track near by so loud all hours of the night. The pipes thump and groan when people in neighbouring rooms flush the toilet or use a tap keeping us up at night. Our pillows were so lumpy, flat and literally falling apart. We stayed for 4 nights and spent nearly $700. Absolute rip off and cannot believe they are allowed to operate with such poor, unhygienic conditions. The bistro had next to nothing available for us to order a meal. Will be making a complaint with the hotel directly and leaving a google review as well. And if i find a governing body to put in a formal complaint, i will do that too.

I could not find my room so I returned the keys and went up road and checked into Calamvale hotel. I walked around the outside of entire acacia ridge hotel where there were all manner of abandoned looking vehicles and dodgy looking characters. I have no hesitation in not recommending this accommodation - the building is only fit for demolition. Disgraceful

It was adequate for my needs...the essential things were clean but it was old and a bit shabby. Not great for people with bad knees...lots of stairs. There was a loud domestic argument happening in one of the rooms nearby which went fairly late into the night. All in all I would probably stay again if I was flying out of Brisbane.

The air conditioner worked well, but the only window you could open was the bathroom.

Boris (4/5): - Dirty cutlery, extremely loud noise from the pipes in the bathroom, found 2 cockroaches, no toaster or microwave, other guests smoking in front of the room, loud crowds at night.
Emma (8/5): - The staff were kind & helpful. Nice meal selection in the bar/ dining area & meal was delicious. The room was of an older, simpler style but quite comfortable.
Jaymes (8/5): Average at best. - Bathroom had previous tenants used shampoo on top of the shower screen. No toaster in room as per website. Carpet had lots of stains. Otherwise beds were comfortable. Bar staff on checkin were unhelpful.
Erin (10/5): - Great service. Comfortable enough for an overnight stay. Very basic but clean. There is late nignt noise from the pub but that is to be expected. A suitable price for what you get.

Russell (4/5): - You get what you pay for ,but the noise going till 4am and the window covering that dont exist means hard to get to sleep and then wake up at day break because the room has no heavy blinds or anything like that at all

Raleigh (4/5): - Well our water was unusable from the smell, it smelt like there was a rotting corpse in it, the cutlery was completely unusable because it was covered in old oil stains, the carpet is wet and it's making our feet black, I've seen about 50 cockroaches so far, the aircon spits ice at us while it's on, the aircon leaked constantly, we lost power on the last night of our stay so all the food in our fridge went off and we couldn’t charge anything for our long drive home the next day. To put this in the nicest way, staying in hell would be nicer than this place. All the money clearly goes into the pub and pokies without even a thought of the accommodation complaints.

Kevin (4/5): - Had 2 rooms booked, Rooms 33 and 35. Room 35 the AC wasn't what you would call the greatest. The remainder was ok, except for rediculous positioning of bed in front of wardrobe doors. Now room 33. Disaster area. First off, the light in the bathroom wasn't working. Just fortunate the light from outside was barely enough to see what you were doing while in the bathroom. Whoever designed the bathroom needs to be put up against the wall and shot. The positioning of the toilet hard up against a wall was bad enough, but then they decide to try and fit the toilet roll holder on that wall as well, thus having to virtually sit on the toilet roll while doing your business, then trying to get to the paper when finished......... absolutely stupid planning, or lack of planning more like it. Now, the shower recess. I am not a huge person, but really, felt like I was climbing into coffin to have a show. No room what so ever. Plumbing for shower also pathetic. Oh, and who ever had the bright idea to position a bed in front of wardrobe doors deserves a medal for stupidity. Finish off with broken door of freezer section of fridge just tossed up into the back of the freezer, out of sight, out of mind I guess. Not Impressed
