The property had such a peaceful and welcoming vibe, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. One of the highlights for us was the pool, it was always accessible, well-maintained, and the water was perfectly warm, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff truly made our stay special. They were always available, incredibly welcoming, and ensured we were comfortable at all times. • Alexander (7/5): Prima plek. Aardige host. Wel erg veel Russen. - Mooi zwembad. Aardige familie. Heel fijn dat de TukTuk altijd beschikbaar was. We hadden wat pech dat onze kamer 2 maanden verhuurd was geweest voordat we kwamen. Door onze vroege incheck tijd was er niet echt goed genoeg schoon gemaakt. Het stonk en alle badmatten en handdoeken waren oud en vies. Nadat we na een nacht aangegeven hadden dat we naar een andere kamer wilden, hebben de hosts onze kamer heel goed schoongemaakt, kregen we nieuwe mooie handdoeken, nieuwe badmatten. En zelfs de wc en badkamerspiegel waren vervangen. Dat was erg attent. Dus zijn we nog een nacht gebleven.

• Natalia (10/5): Отличное бюджетное место))) - Замечательная вилла,персонал очень доброжелательный ,во всем помогут ,Раш тебе отдельное спасибо)))Далеко от пляжа не находишься пешком ,но для нас это был даже плюс,тихо спокойно,нет воровства ,Как на прибрежной зоне.Огромные номера с новой сантехникой ,большие кровати ,матрасы жестковаты ,но это нам не мешало высыпаться .Вокруг джунгли ,прекрасная природа )))уборка и замена белья по требованию .Все отлично ,всем советуем ))) Минусов нет

It was a fantastic 20 min walk to the beach past family homes and through the jungle. There wasn't anything I didn't like. If I had to say, maybe add some matresses to the sun loungers.

Breakfast was everyday the same but always fresh fruits and eggs (omelet or fried) with toast and good fresh fruit juice and coffee/tea. There was only couple of people in the staff who spoke english. Felt that they spoke better russian and tried also speak it to us rather than english.

They were very helpful with anything any time of the day 2) Beautiful location, quiet and next the the jungle, but also just a short tuk tuk ride away from the beach, Galle, and other places 3) The food is the best I had in Unawatuna 4) We celebrated the New Years Eve at the property and the employees did a great job in organizing dinner, fireworks 5) Hotel provides a lot of services, like their own tuk tuk rides, money exchange, laundry, tours. That was super convenient 6) The rooms were very comfortable and clean, beds had mosquito nets The aesthetics of the rooms inside were pretty basic

Начиная с чистоты, удобства и инфраструктуры виллы, заканчивая командой супер профессионалов которые превращают пребывание на ней в настоящее удовольствие. Да, находится отдаленно от основных центральных мест, но это скорее больше плюс для отдыха. После месяца пребывания на шри подустали от местных завтраков, поэтому готовили сами. На кухне было все необходимое. Однозначно выберем это место снова.

• Svetlana (10/5): - Аппартаменты во втором корпусе очень просторные,три спальни с душевыми и туалетами,большая кухня с плитой и стиральной машинкой, полностью укомплектована всей необходимой посудой включая тостер. Порадовал и белый фарфоровый сервиз. Гостиная,тераса,где мы завтракали с прекрасным видом на джунгли под пение птиц и бурундуков.Чистый большой бассейн,куда по отзывам туристов приходят обезьяны,но мы в основном предпочитали отдыхать на берегу океана и их не видели.До пляжа УнаВатуна удобнее всего добираться на тук туке минут 7,идти пешком неудобно,нет тротуаров и приходится идти по оживленной трассе,что не очень комфортно.Ребята на ресепшене всегда очень оперативно организуют трансфер до пляжа.Вообще очень следует подчеркнуть работу персонала, особенно- Раш, прекрасно говорит по-русски, всегда улыбается, поможет в любом вопросе- обмен денег, организация питания, экскурсий, трансфера. Нам понравилось все
• Gabriel (7/5): They could be more transparent about the real conditions of what you are booking - 1. The AC works to perfection. There’s also a fan. 2. The toilet is decent and the water runs powerful and nicely hot if you want it. 3. There are multiple lights in the room making it nice. 4. The workers and manager are very nice . 5. The road that leads to the property is full of fireflies at night, making it very exciting to see every time you walk there. 6. The same fact that the property is far from the town makes it very quiet at night. 1. The location is far from the main Unawatuna road, so be prepared to either pay the property’s tuk tuks or download the `Pick me’ App and constantly rely on them to go in and out of the accommodation. This property is not on the main road and unfortunately the road that leads to it is full of poodles. 2. The room was advertised as “room with pool view and kitchenette”, but unfortunately it was just a fridge and a kettle and not much view. Also, as the wall that faces the outside is made of aluminium you have the feeling of sleeping in a comercial center store rather than a real room. We got room 122. 3. The WiFi didn’t work for us. 4. We stayed 5 nights and not a single change of towels

• Christin (10/5): Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen - Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Es liegt etwas abseits vom Ort, dennoch kann man gut reinlaufen oder sich vom Personal mit dem Tuktuk in den Ort fahren lassen. In den Bäumen gibt es kleine Affen und einen sehr schönen Pool. Sie bieten auch Essen an, was sehr gut schmeckt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Es riecht ein bisschen nach feuchter Luft in den Zimmern, aber das bleibt bei der Luftfeuchtigkeit nicht aus

Very good breakfast Position is a bit far from centre but the positive side is that it's quite. They offer tuk tuk service to the city center which is very useful!

• Harikrishnan (9/5): Good quiet place to stay! - Was a quiet place to stay. Friendly staff, all very easy going and always accommodating to requests. Food at their restaurant was good and well priced. Pool was clean and the kids had a great time in it. They've got tuk tuks for local short trips and I believe they also hire out scooters if required. The older apartments need bit more maintenance done to them, for eg, locks were broken but when mentioned, they had carpenters come out asap to fix them up. Can't really complain.

Завтраки вкусные, порции достаточно большие. Также могут приготовить любое блюдо из меню, в том числе свежие морепродукты. Номер большой, вся техника исправна. Большая ванная комната. Только положительные эмоции от этого места проживания.

• Natalia (10/5): - Все было великолепно, соотношение цена/качество идеально. Огромные чистые номера, чистый бассейн, ребята всегда на месте, готовы отвезти и забрать в любое место. Мы жили в нескольких отелях в Шри, но этот нам больше всего понравился. Мы ездили большой компанией, несколько раз заказывали ужин на компанию, готовили разные морепродукты, рыбу, было очень вкусно и недорого. Мы обязательно вернемся в этот отель. Все было хорошо, мы знали что отель далеко от моря, на горе. Ездить на тук туке было удовольствием
• анатолий (9/5): - Отличный отель ! все чисто красиво ! бассейн чистый, уборки номеров не было но нам и не надо, завтрак отличный питательный, персонал супер позитивный, один минус тяжелая дорога до океана-по деревне спуски и подьемы надо ездить на туктуке (хозяин возит без проблем туда обратно). Номера огромные новые современные (корпус возле бассейна), кондиционеры вентиляторы исправны, большой холодильник чайник, все работало ! рекомендую ! дорога до моря

Бассейн большой и чистый, одно удовольствие в нем плавать. Красивая территория. Все в зелени, тихо, спокойно. 5 минут до пляжа на тук-туке или можно прогуляться пешком, вокруг отеля тоже очень красиво. Хорошие вкусные завтраки. В отеле дружелюбная, приятная атмосфера, приветливые сотрудники и классный хозяин. Всегда помогут во всем. Еще в отеле есть русскоговорящий гид, мы ездили с ним на экскурсию в Эллу, на девятиарочный мост, водопад, позавтракали в красивейшем месте, в ресторане в горах с потрясающим видом, прокатились на поезде, посмотрели чайные плантации, покормили обезьянок и на обратном пути увидели большого дикого слона. Просто восторг, нам все очень понравилось, всем рекомендую съездить. Недорого, с комфортом и очень интересно! Есть другие разные экскурсии.
• NATALIA (10/5): - Проживали на вилле с 16 по 29 октября втроем с ребенком. Вилла находится в 10 минутах езды от океана, проблем с передвижением не было, тук-тук всегда был под рукой. От завтрака мы не устали, вполне приличный. Ужин тоже заказывали, все понравилось и рыба и морепродукты. Бассейн чистый, каждый день убирают. Номер большой, кухня для приготовления тоже была в номере. По деревьям прыгают обезьяны и бегают вараны. Очень тихое и уютное место, пожалели, что приехали ни на месяц. Кондиционеры работают. Вода в душе всегда была без ограничений. Валюту обменивали прямо на вилле. Экскурсии тоже брали от кумари турс, ездили индивидуально в Эллу+Пиннавелла, все очень понравилось, организовано все отлично. Коллектив виллы окружил нас заботой и вниманием, было очень приятно. На вилле можно взять в аренду тук-тук и байк. Руководство очень приветливые и душевные люди.

If you're looking for a quiet, pleasant place to spend time, this is definitely worth a visit.

• Meredith (10/5): Recommended - We had a great stay. The villa is surrounded by trees and is isolated yet not too far from the main roads. Our room was spacious and clean. The villa can rent out scooters and exchange money. The pool is huge. We were given space, but the staff was there when we needed them, and they were very friendly.
• Remi (7/5): An ok place to stay in Unawatuna. - The swimming pool. The staff drives you down town for a reasonable price. We were in the old location. The furniture was old and the showers only gave a small amount of water; not enough to wash your hair probably. Breakfast was nice but not included in the price and only available after 08:00; a little bit late for our girls. For going down town you really needed a tuktuk.
• Anna (3/5): All in all, Sri Lanka would be perfect without these apartments - Thought the swimming pool would be an advantage and we would swim there but it was only open in the morning and afternoon, so you can’t swim in the evening after beach We’ve chosen it because there were few reviews about the insects. That was a big mistake since every day there was a new cockroach on the floor. Plus, ants were a real problem, because there was a gap under the door. Cleaning did not help since they were in the room the day after again. The beach closest (which is not close at all, it is 20 minutes walking at a temperature of 30) to the apartments is dirty so we had to use taxi every day. Plus, NO HOT shower contrary to what was promised, only cold. In addition, wi-fi was useless (at least from our room). And finally, I hate people lying straight to my face. In short, I do not recommend buying any tours in these apartments because the main guy (communicating on various issues, receiving the payment etc) does not provide correct info about the tour. We agreed on certain price and certain number of people. On the day of the tour there was a surprise of x3 more people than he said, and I asked him: is it a group of 4 (including us 2) like we were promised (in whatsapp messages) and he just said yes smiling. After the tour I showed him he lied to us but all that I got in the end is “Okay”. I really hate such kind of service since we could find another option (which is usually cheaper) if he did’t lie.
• Lisa (8/5): Very good - Room was spacious. Fairly basic but ok. The pool makes up for it, which is in another building close by and is lovely, surrounded by jungle. It is fairly geared for the Russian market. Location was quite far out and not really doable to walk, so you will need a tuk tuk to get around. Found the beach here mostly big hotels and not the best.

• Chris (7/5): Good - Friendly helpful staff, large room that was clean. Our room was located on the top floor at the very end which made it more comfortable for sitting outside as these are open balconies. Nice view over the jungle. They have their own tuktuk service which was very handy for the evening. Approx 15/20 min walk to main road. Wish we'd know beforehand that the majority of the guests were Russian. They were very loud, very rude, arrogant and had absolutely no respect for the staff what so ever which made us angry and feel uncomfortable.
• Marek (9/5): Terrific hotel to stay at by the pool during the day and then visit a - Splendid big clean pool, large room, friendly staff, breakfast was ok, inexpensive Tuk Tuk to the beach provided by the hotel. You need to vary the breakfast fruit- not the same every day, brown whole meal toast if possible.

• Terry (10/5): A wonderful 18 night stay - We had an amazing stay here. We were fortunate enough to get a larger room that had a kitchen. Nothing was ever too much trouble. If we needed anything, it was seen to immediately. It is in a perfect location just a 15 minute walk to the beach or the shop, although the hotel also offer a Tuk Tuk service which we made use of! The pool is well looked after. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place!
• John (10/5): Exceptional - Loved this place. Great size & comfortable rooms. Massive fridge freezer was a bonus! Pool was big & well maintained. Staff very helpful & even sorted our transfer to next destination. Only thing that might put you off is the distance from main road although we were able to rent bikes from hotel very easily. Tuk tuks are also on hand.

At this range of hotels this is nice place to stay if you dont exept luxury western way. All basic things are here you need to crash. Defenedly worst thing in this place is location. It is wery hard to reach and roads are bad and narrow. All local tuktuk drivers dont even find the place.

• Lorna (10/5): Exceptional - Set in the jungle the views are beautiful, hotel is completely clean throughout. Pool area is large, even at a busy time if year there's plenty of space for everyone. The staff and hotel owner are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is average but convenient and only a few euro. I suffered an extreme allergic reaction to a mosquito bite, medical centre and pharmacy are 2/3 minutes away in a tuk tuk, along with everything else you need on the main road. I think the hotel should offer tuk tuks at a lower price due to the location. Walk to the beach is approx 30 minutes.

• Ekaterina (8/5): Very good - We stayed at this hotel from November 5th to 20th of November, 2024. Upon arrival in the evening, we were greeted warmly by the hotel staff. We were a group of friends and were provided with two adjoining rooms, which was very convenient. Unfortunately, our rooms were not in the main building, so it took about 2-5 minutes to walk to the pool and restaurant. The hotel is located in the jungle, away from the main street, but you can reach it by tuk-tuk which is always available. The rooms were clean, but we were concerned about the loudness of the refrigerator in one of the rooms, which prevented us from sleeping. We had to turn it off and keep food in another room. Room service and bed linen change were available upon request. Breakfast was served in the main building and waiting for food could take up to 40 minutes. We could rent a moped and purchase water in the same building. Occasionally, monkeys would visit the hotel's roof. The pool area was clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was a good value for the price.

• Lauren (10/5): Exceptional - Really nice place, amazing value. Cheap tuktuk away from the beach, shops and restaurants. Unawatuna is my favourite part of Sri Lanka. Pool is super clean and as photographed. We came here after a bad experience elsewhere and were so glad we did. We also stayed at a "4 star hotel" in Wadduwa that was more than twice the price. Everything about this place, from the rooms, to the pool and the food was so much better. The only small thing is the location, but honestly, it doesn't matter. You could go to the beach twice every day with the money you save staying here and still save money. Nothing.

• Kseniia (10/5): I definitely recommend this place to stay in Unawatuna. - Nice, cozy and quit place, jungles around so early morning you'll see monkeys jumping on the trees and hear tropical birds. This is really nice place to stay for a long time. Yes it's far away from the beach and main road however 15-20 minutes walking there through the village will bring positive emotions since you'll meet friendly locals, animals (varan, monkeys, chipmunks and peacocks) - so not an issue at all. Apart of that Hosts offer money exchange, taxi and cafe services, excursions, bike for rent. There is also a very good swimming pool, clean and quite big to have a rest in the evening. Room: our apartment was big, clean and comfortable to live in - there were two beds, huge bathroom, TV, air conditioner and fans. There was also a kitchen with needed equipment. Everything worked as expected.

• Kasperavicius (10/5): Perfect for families, with an amazing pool. - The pool, beautiful view from the pool to the palms, very warm hosts, spacious rooms, black monkeys in the trees. Bathroom size, comfortable bed Location, but it depends on what you need. A tuk tuk will get you from the mainroaid to the apartment for 2-3 dollers.

• Hannes (9/5): A fantastic place to stay near the jungle - The place was very clean, bright and modern looking. The location and the views over the jungle were incredible. The room was very spacious and did not feel cramped. The pool was very clean, refreshing and large. Bed was large and comfortable. AC was very quiet compared to some other places. The overall feel was very luxurious, especially for the price and when comparing to some other highly rated places. The room was missing some basics for a more comfortable stay and a 10/10 rating. -We had some wifi issues (apparently some monkeys broke cables) -No warm water if you wanted to take a shower before going to sleep. (solar heater only and it was used up by others) -There was no table in the room to put things like dishes, cups, snacks etc on so we had to use the fridge top as a table. -Could put some comfortable chairs/couch in the room. There were regular hard straight chairs available but you cannot sit in these comfortably. -Had to go ask for soap because the room had none. -No toilet brush.

• Emmi (9/5): Lovely place in the heart of nature. - Coral Palm Villa and Apartment was just what we needed. Owner of this place was really kind and helpful. Pool was big and clean, i think one of the best pools ever. Nature near here is amazing it is full of life, monkeys on the trees, fireflies flying on yard. Room was big and there was kitchen. For the Breakfast there was lovely fruits, but rest of the breakfast i was hoping for something more local (Sri Lankan style) Coffee was bad i think better to drink tea.
• Thadsha (10/5): Very nice apartment to stay. - Everything available. Staff were very friendly. Swimming pool was clean and big. Owner upgraded us to a bigger apartment for same price. Really lovely place to stay. There was a parking. Could do with an iron and hairdryer in the apartment. Roads to the apartment are narrow and steep might not be ideal with a big car/van.

• Christian (6/5): No pool in the apartment - The apartment is not ideal for a family for multiple days. - although the apartment is advertised with pool picture, there is NO POOL there. the owner said it is in his other apartment, anyway it was not there - we did not get the free breakfast from booking - there was a washing machine altough it was completely useless: all the clothes were full of washing powder at the end it turned out that our babys full body burned from it - english speaking capabilities are limited - without pool anything closer to the beach could be better
