- Cassidy (2/5): - Table was broken, walls were covered with yellow stuff and brown stuff. Smelled like THC and cigarettes. Had to chanfe rooms and stull had a stiff as a board mattresses
- Shane (10/5): - Nice cozy stay! Very satisfied
- Brett (10/5): - I stayed at the Western Inn in Gonzales, LA for one night on a leisure trip and had a really pleasant experience. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made check-in smooth and easy. The room was clean and comfortable — perfect for a quick stop. It’s a simple place, but well-kept and in a convenient location. Great value for the price. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.
- Loyce (10/5): - All around decent place
- Juan (10/5): - Low cost, very clean compared to others in the area. Staff is very nice and friendly
- Chris (4/5): Dated and unclean - Door to room was open when we got there. No other rooms available. Bathroom sink counter was half covered with some kind of superglue type adhesive. Bathroom door wouldn’t fully open due to shower curtain rod. Room was dated. Suggest you look elsewhere
- John (2/5): Hotel and hotel.com sucked - I was ripped off by being charged by hotels . Com and the hotel, charged double for a smelly dirty room
- Steve (8/5): - No coffee or pot. Ice machine only gave me One bucket of ice.
- Laureen (4/5): - Staff were helpful but did not end up staying

- James (10/5): - Great
- 0hh (10/5): - Good
- Charles (4/5): - The towel rack in bathroom was broke laying on the counter top, an electrical outlet was missing from the wall, the night latch was missing from the door. Over all I would rate room 109 not safe or ready for rental service.
- Diance (2/5): - No one was at the front desk for over an hour so I couldn’t check in. The first key card did not work, the third room had no A/C and the third room was dirty and smelled really bad, I did not receive a key for this room because they said the lock was broken so if I left out I couldn’t get back in
- Diane (2/5): - I never saw the inside. They refused to let us check in.
- Carlos (6/5): - It was quite and easy for check in, the room did smell a lot like smoke.
- AUDREY H (6/5): - Carpet in room has a stale odor. It needs to be shampooed and air freshener used to combat odor.
- Jacqualine (2/5): - There was bed bugs
- Shelly (6/5): - If you don’t care about big chunks of peeling drywall and paint in the bathroom and crap smears on the bathroom then it’s okay and no security latch!
- Dustin (2/5): - Great place if you like bed bugs and the smell of urine. 👍
- Jacqualine (10/5): - They should at least do breakfast.
- Gary (2/5): - Soon as I walked in the room and went in the bathroom there was a roach on the side of the bathtub. The washing machine or dryer either one works.there are two tv’s in the room that you half to use one remote to change channels and the other remote for volume. It will definitely be my last stay here the cleaning lady’s are nice and do a good job it’s the building that’s old and needs to be remodeled the tile is coming off the wall in the bathroom I definitely don’t recommend this place
- Verified traveler (4/5): - We were assigned a handicap room but are not handicapped. The security bolt on the door had come off. There were no instructions for the TV and there were two TV’s! There were two men talking outside our room for a long time. Finally at 1 AM I called the desk. There was no coffee pot or breakfast. Needless to say this was our first and last stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Not bad at all... - Enjoyed my stay very clean rooms, property as well..Will stay here again if need be
- James (10/5): - I have read not so good reviews, but i had no problems with anything. I have stayed at the hotel 3 times and all good. I would not have went back if I had a problem. Its as advertised, a good hotel.
- Shelby (2/5): - The staff gave someone I didn’t know a key to my room and they wouldn’t tell me who the owner was ?!! Who’s the owner
- Shelby (2/5): - The staff gave someone a key to my room I didn’t know
- Kasey (6/5): - No wifi, limited parking, but not a bad deal for the property. most people staying here all work in the plants so it’s quiet due to the fact everyone is working for the most part. no grilling for some reason?
- Shawn (6/5): - Stay was good overall! Couldn't enjoy the TV because it jumped every few seconds!
- Marleen (6/5): - Cheap. Dirty. Found a bug in our room. One bed had no blanket, just the sheet and top blanket. Noisy complex, rowdy clientele
- TaLana (2/5): - The room smelled moldy the tub was filthy the shower head had lots of build up on it. The shower curtain filthy the bathroom smelled like urine. Nats in the room.
- Ezell (8/5): - Every thing
- Josephine (4/5): NEVER AGAIN - I book this room for my fiancee and he walked in the room and walked right back out. I end up booking him at another hotel in less than 1 min of being in the room. This inn really need to be closed and cleaned from top to bottom. The room was totally unacceptable. It looked like it was a pump and hoe inn. You get what you pay for is right
- john (4/5): - I asked about coffee in the morning, the rude response was "in your room," there was no coffee in the room/The room smelled like it hadn't been properly cleaned since 1970
- Phyllis (8/5): - Not a fancy hotel, but comfortable and clean. My stay was for four nights and the lack of a coffee maker in the room or available at the front desk was my only real disappointment. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- Latoya (10/5): - I was please ans the staff is young and very friendly and professional.
- Patrick (10/5): - Clean and affordable. Plus was easy to book. Thanks Expedia 🌞
- Matt (10/5): - Much better than expected for the price. The other people staying at the hotel drank in the parking lot until midnight were up again at 5:00am, but it was clean and cheap. I would definitely stay here again.
- Trina (2/5): THE WORST EVER - The whole stay qas horrible. Worst service and motel i have stayed at yet to this day. Lobby guy completely hates his own life. He never spoke a word. Threw me my key card through the window that did not work by the way. Finally got a keycard that works get in the room and TV does not work at all. Switch rooms got my keycard threw at me again and still no words from lobby guy. Get to the second room and wow it was a nightmare. Only a sheet and a burnt up quit type of blanket on the bed with ONE pillow that was so floppy it was useless. We never could take a bath or shower cause there was honestly what looked like vomit dried up splattered all over the bathroom. I have stayed all over the states and tbis by far was the worst motel i have ever been in. Just shut it doen and start over. HORRIBLE
- Michael (2/5): - Toilet broken would not flush, lamps not working, spider webs in ceiling of room
- Randy (2/5): - The hotèl was nasty bathroom did not work, phone did not work and ded sheet were not clean
- George (6/5): - Bug in the room
- Rodney (6/5): - Handicapped shower
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Front office male is very rude! The hotel also has rats, woke up next day and found rat droppings by sink area, very disgusting.
- Kaelyn (4/5): - The commode did not function in the first room which also had a bad odor. My husband had to go to the office twice before the lady in the office agreed to give us another room. It was very difficult to communicate with her since she did not speak English well.
- Thomas (6/5): - Door secondary lock missing.
- Kristina (10/5): - We needed up getting there earlier than expected and the manager let us check in. I’m so thankful because I had my 9 month old son with me and couldn’t wait until the check in time after driving for hours! They’re so understanding!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Bad - The entrance door had a large crack in it that you able to see outside, the bath tub was not clean, we paid for one king bed and was giving a double bed.
- Daniel (10/5): - As expected
- Jeffery (4/5): - No coffee pot in room. When we checked in lady at front desk acted like we were s burden to her. Wasn't given wifi password and nothing in room with it on it.
- Wendy (2/5): - Checked in. People in parking lot made us nervous the way they just s stayed in parking lot and stared. Room was disgusting. Chair was stained and the floor within 3 minutes made my daughters feet black. We checked out immediately and went to hotel down the road.
- Lew (8/5): - Simple room but close to everything.
- Scott (4/5): Not again.. - Dirty room. Bathroom not so good. Smelled smoky. Front desk
Area closed. Not so friendly service.
- Andres Cornejo (6/5): - Not what I expected for the money
- Lesliee (2/5): - The lady at the front desk is rude. They places is dirty and nasty. DO NOT STAY HERE
- Hope (8/5): - No coffee pot
- Jennifer (6/5): - Bathroom was dirty
- Elisha (8/5): - It suited our need.
- Danielle (10/5): Perfect - Very enjoyable and relaxing!
- Cornell (2/5): Poor Customer Service - If you have the impression that motel/hotel staff all have the ability to think outside the box to solve a customer service problem, think again. I had such a problem regarding billing information. The front desk staff made absolutely no effort to research the information to even see if it was possible. The day before, the front desk staff told me that I could get the information tomorrow but the next day, the front desk staff refused to even put any effort into trying. If I had another choice, there is no way I would have stayed at this place. When I finally checked out, I found a nice loft apartment with a full kitchen and with an in-suite washer and dryer.
- David (4/5): - Not much
- Deborah (2/5): I WOULD NEVER GIVE THEM A GOOD REVIEW. - I COULD NOT STAY AND YOU WOULD NOT GIVE ME A REFUND. HOW DO YOU THINK MY STAY WENT?
- Kimberly (2/5): - It is convenient is the only plus. The staff screams, yells and cancels reservations. Would discourage all from booking.
- Aaron (2/5): - The beds had bed bugs. And the gentleman at check in was absolutely rude.
- Jason (2/5): - Bed was old and uncomfortable. The shower curtain was too short so water went all over the bathroom floor. The internet kept going off. The clerk had an attitude. Not a place I’d ever stay again.
- Kimberly (6/5): - The cost and location is good. However, it took the attendant a long time to get back to the front to check me in. The tub stopper was missing. Cable had no signal. And cigarette holes in the sheets.
- Wenquetta (10/5): Family Friendly Hotel - Your hotel provided excellent service to my family! We needed a room because of Hurricane Ida.
- Michael (8/5): - Perfectly adequate for our needs, nothing more. Everything worked - good AC, hot shower, comfortable bed, TV. Good for one or two nights when you just need a place to sleep.
- Ryan (8/5): -
- Teodoso (2/5): - Girl at front desk acted as if she was all high and mighty! Cancelled my room Bc i requested handicap and got all crazy with me! Said her manager would refund my stay and I never got a refund!!! Horrible staff!!!
- chris (6/5): - Terd was in toilet on arrival and bed was missing a sheet.
- Terrie (8/5): - The rooms needed some work done
- Steve (2/5): … - It was crazy because of hurricane But the room itself was horrible and not very clean. The guy at the front desk on day of checkout was the worst ever! Never met such a rude person
- Christi (2/5): - Everything was fine until I was harassed by the front desk clerk at check out time. I overslept and instead of being accommodating
Q
- Norma (8/5): - Room was clean. Beds were not comfortable. Check in clerk not very friendly.
- Christina (8/5): Had to make a quick trip to BR area - It was a clean hotel for a great price and good location for everywhere I needed to go. I had a corner upstairs room so it was very quiet and peaceful
- Jeffery (8/5): Work - I stay here a lot when working in area budget friendly and clean never any issues
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Definitely no exterminator on property there were not hundreds but thousands of spiders everywhere.
- David (8/5): Dog show - Room was spacious and very clean. House keeping was excellent
- Verified traveler (2/5): - it was terrible experience at stay. front desk guy didn't greet or nothing show respect, room was smelling bad, microwave not cleaned, rusted and smell bad as hell. bathtub ceiling was full of spider web. and WiFi was not working even cellular network not reachable ... bed itch overall not good
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Too many people hanging out their rooms whistling everytime someone pass
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Service
- Reggie (8/5): Great stay - It was great being greeted like old friends from way back! Thanks western inn!!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - If you’re a fan of staying somewhere where you will feel the need to completely clean and sanitize the entire room upon arrival, this is your place! As we walked into our (non-smoking) room we were greeted by the smell of cigarette smoke and death. Reminded me of my deceased grandmother, which is okay, RIP grams. Remember to bring your own towels to shower, we were lucky to find a few extra stuffed halfway behind the fridge, just needed to wash and sage them. After sanitizing the counter by the sink, it really brought out the detail of razor blade cut marks across the entire counter and the brown-yellow discoloration burn spots on the bathtub may make you rethink bathing here all together. After accepting that we would most likely be dirtier than cleaner if we were to bathe here we decided to try to watch some tv, as we jumped into bed avoiding the cigarette burn marks in the comforter, I reached for the remote to turn the tv on, unfortunately there was only one battery in the remote, no problem I walked over to the tv and hit the power button but the blue screen came up, looking down there was a HDMI cord going to the tv, with the opposite end going to which looked to previously plug into a external device that was MIA. So after giving up the idea of tv I decided to grab my book to read before noticing there was no lightbulb for the bedside lamp! We decided to leave for the wedding we were attending. When leaving the parking lot a lady got out of her car to curse us out.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Had to wait for my room to get ready
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The shower did not have a curtain and they have a roach problem.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was ok for a 1 night stopover. They stress upon check in - no cooking, no smoking and no pets. The room was basic and clean. Safe area.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Tv was not working and air condition was not properly working and the fridge wasn't cold
- Peggy (10/5): - I had a very good experience 😊
- Verified traveler (2/5): - My kids father was there due to gas line break due to freezing temperatures at his home. On the 4th day there he was told they don't rent to locals. Mind you there were black outs and people in freezing temperatures looking for shelter. This is something that should be listed or posted on there page. I had to drive from a neighboring town In freezing inclement weather to give my information that would give him some type of assistance for him to have shelter.
- SHERI (8/5): - Nice place
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Just lovely the stay was everything I thought it would be. I recommend you guys to everyone I know
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was cleanand very safe to stay on such a short notice.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - My room was worth the price I paid! This is not a fancy top of line hotel but the room was nice and clean and had no issues. I would stay there again. As far as Covid we had to wear oir masks.
