Guest Reviews
- Elinga (7/5): - It is a cute tipi village! They make a very fun evening next to the fire with complimentary drinks & s’mores! It was great experience for kids. Also, the view to the mountains is really mesmerising. It has great facilities in tipi, all the stuff for bbq and clean showers! It was great addition heated bedding. The heaters don’t really heat up the actual tipi as all got water goes up so when you get up, it’s a bit cold. However, the worst thing for us was really breakfast - that tent is not heated at all, we had zero degrees in the morning and having breakfast was not pleasant at all. All kids were crying and shivering from cold, I was so cold that my hands were shaking. I would highly recommend adding heaters up in that place when temperatures aren’t warm enough yet. Also, wifi wasn’t working majority of the time. So for that, I feel it is a bit too overpriced.

- Chris (10/5): Great experience and lovley stay - Location and staff extremely friendly and helpful
It was snowing when we stayed but tipi was cosy and we had a heated blanket and bed was so comfy. They also have nice chairs in the tipi to sit and read
We had a fire outside out tipi there was also a communal campfire with marshmallows and free drinks which was very nice
Breakfast is grab and go which suited us close Yellowstone parks
We also had the elks visit the tipi one morning
Bathrooms spotless each visit and nice heated floors and private Nothing all good

- Kristin (10/5): Beautiful views, cozy tipis, and warm, welcoming staff made this place a real treat! - This place is adorable and the views are incredible! The tipis are well appointed and the staff are wonderfully friendly. We visited for three nights in Mid-May when you get all the weather and I was worried about being cold, but it was not a problem. Our tipi had a couple of small space heaters that worked very well to warm up the space quickly and the layered bedding gave us all the options to achieve perfect cozy sleep. Eight individual bathrooms all with sink, toilet, and shower were warm, clean, and almost always available. As with any other accommodation, the other guests can really affect your stay - I requested a tipi close to the bathrooms because at 8 months pregnant I needed multiple nightly trips. The trade off was the early morning (pre-7am) bathroom traffic outside the tipi, most of which was short-lived and tolerable, some of which was inconsiderate behavior from other guests old enough to know better.
- Kerry (7/5): - The community bathrooms were clean, warm and roomy. The beds were comfortable and space heaters worked very well. Staff was friendly but there was no help getting bags to the tipi. Our room was not clean or vacuumed. The tipi itself was stained badly also. Breakfast was not appetizing but the snacks provided was especially nice for a day in Yellowstone.
- Alex (10/5): Beautiful, friendly and fun - Really spacious well kept tents. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming Breakfast selection was fairly limited
- Yuvraj (10/5): -
- Tina (10/5): Great experience especially for kids of all ages and superior customer service. - The staff went above and beyond to make you feel very welcomed and that they were there for you. They were had positive dispositions and seemed very happy to work there. Been a while since I’ve had such excellent customer service. Oh and the bathrooms were exceptional. Warm and clean and nice sized. It was very windy and rained some, the tepee was drafty so a bit cold even though had the heaters up to 85, however extra blankets were provided and each tepee had an electric blanket so was able to get/stay warm. There was some dripping inside, not sure if it was condensation. Everything else was fantastic.

- Kelly (10/5): Excellent!! - It had all the amenities we needed. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We loved everything about it!!
- Carlos (10/5): -
- HARUKA (9/5): -
- Molly (9/5): - The bathrooms were lovely, normally not a fan of shared bathrooms but they were so clean and felt very private!
We loved the nightly campfires!
The location is ideal for visiting Yellowstone park! Takes less then 10 minutes to get to the parks north entrance! I managed to get a good deal for a 2 night stay but I wouldn’t pay the original price, I think if the breakfast was a cooked breakfast it would maybe make it worth the price? Also not the hotels fault but the price for 5 adults in the same as for 2 and there was only 2 of us in our tipi, so maybe If there was 5 of us it would be more worth the price!
- Nils (9/5): -
- Jorge (7/5): - Great Tipi Considering the advert we were expecting it to be isolated from civilization but it was next to a highway
- Robert (10/5): Lina, Avery, Jonathan and the rest of the staff were so the best! The place was the highlight of our trip! We can’t wait - The set up was outstanding, so well done with attention to detail! We absolutely loved it! Set up, location and most of all the staff!
- Bryan (8/5): The stay was excellent. - The staff was excellent. It was great experience to sleep in a Tipi. My family loved it there. They had s’mores every night for the kids and alcoholic beverages for the adults. Not too far from Yellowstone. There is nothing I didn’t like about the property.
- Anne (8/5): - Pictures aren’t accurate portrayal Breakfast and amenities leave a bit to be desired.
- DAE HYUN (10/5): -
- Shawn (10/5): Highly recommended!! Very friendly and accommodating staff. Clean comfortable tee pee’s and the bathroom/shower room - Clean, welcoming and comfortable Nothing
- Abhishek (10/5): -
- Kimberly (10/5): Fabulous - Being close to nature but yet still comfort of home. I think each tipi needs their own assigned bathroom.
- Heather (10/5): - EVERYTHING!!!!!!

- Jesus (10/5): - Wonderful experience
- Jan-Michael (10/5): -
- Schulz (10/5): -
- Marbet (7/5): I wanted to stay part of my bucket list but didn't sleep at all related to the mouse. - Breakfast was great. There were ants all around and in Tipi and mouse.
- Myra (10/5): -
- Chris (10/5): -
- Eleni (10/5): A nice experience! - Nice experience!! Nothing
- cinzia (10/5): -
- Gerald (10/5): -
- John (9/5): - Unique experience. Very comfortable bed in spacious, well set out tipi. Clean bathrooms. Individual fire-pit. Group fire pit with s’mores provided (delicious - our first)
- Yasuhiro (10/5): - Great Hotel!
- Blair (10/5): - Such a unique and wonderful property. Loved our stay.
- Andika (10/5): - Must try. Very clean and well managed
- Ed (10/5): -
- Francesco (10/5): - Amazing location
- Cathy (10/5): - Lovely place
- mark (9/5): Wonderful, but a bit too expensive - Everything was great. nice location ignoring the main road which is not visible from the site. NOt too many tents, facilities all close by, bathrooms very clean. very enjoyable stay. On a par with Under Canvas, although slightly different setup and maybe better in some ways as its on a smaller scale. You may not have a personal en-suite like Under canvas, but shower facikities are warmer if you are going off peak when its colder at 400 dollars its bloody expensive, and this was off peak in beginning of October. Very slight road noise at night, but I would like to return
- Tina (10/5): Amazing!! We will return!!!💗 - We love everything about the experience.
- Karen (10/5): - The tipi’s were spotless when we arrived and the beds were very comfortable. Private bathrooms were wonderful and also spotless. We would definitely stay here again.
- Mark Paul (10/5): - The Tipi hotel was clean with a beautiful setting. The staff ensure all your needs are met and go above and beyond. Complimentary drinks and smores with a fire every night. This place cares about the service they provide.
- Karen (10/5): The tipis where amazing and it was wonderful. - Very cozy, had a nice environment and is very peaceful . Additionally, the main fire place was nice to interact with the other individuals in the premises of the compound and is very nice that we got complimentary goods, bathrooms were clean, an amazing experience. A very few amount of cacti where near the seating area overlooking the street,it was hard to see because of its small size.
- Scott (10/5): Unique, great value, amazing setting - Beautiful scenery. Elk on the property. Great amenities. Tipi rooms easily fit 5 adults. Fun on-site activities. Relaxing setting. Much, much, much better than staying in a boring hotel/motel. Liked everything. There was NOTHING to not like.
- Dganit (9/5): - A great and unique experience for families and couplres.
The tent was clean and spacious with heaters and electric blankets. Our beds were comfy and the compound was clean and well maintained.
Though the compound has shared bathrooms area, which I thought would be the less-appealing point of our stay, it eas actually not that bad at all! Each bathroom in itself felt very private, it was clean, big and could be locked from within, so don't be hesitant, if this is your concern.
We were too tired to participate, but our host said that they are serving alcohlic and non-alcoholic drinks with some s'mores over at the main camp fire place around 20:00, it sounded nice but we did not experience it as we just fell asleep after a long day. Not having your private bathroom is a challenge when you find yourself having to take a few minutes walk to the toilet in the middle of the night. But that's the deal in this kind of place.
The main breakfast tent felt very cold in the early morning, and I wish it was more heated.
- Todd (8/5): - The breakfast was not very good
- Kiet (10/5): Great location right outside of Yellowstone. Super luxury tipi furnishing. Large and modern bathrooms - Luxury decor for tipi
Great breakfast selection
Very friendly staffs
Awesome social event at night Nothing
- Chiara (10/5): - Very close to the entrance, toilets are in common but extremely clean and luxurious (hot water nice shower towels), staff is friendly, the evening fire is such a nice idea. Breakfast can be implemented with warm food (eggs, pancake…)
- Deborah (10/5): - Breakfast was mostly grab and go - but the options were wide and satisfying.
- Lindsay (10/5): Incredible experience with everything you need - It was an amazing experience for the whole family! They also have thought of everything and provided the continental breakfast better than any hotel I've been to. The s'mores and drinks at night were a nice touch for the kids! It was a really random location but it had the most beautiful lookout
- Beatrice (9/5): Beautiful scenery and tipi, close to park, lots of little extras - Beautiful scenery, great tipi, fire in the evening was wonderful. Enough toilets. Nice to be able to take breakfast with you and eat it in the park.
Access to water, hot water and drinks any time.
The little shop was very cute! Kids loved the s'mores at night. Breakfast was mostly processed except for boiled eggs and a little bit of fruit. My daughter was scared of the spiders in the toilets.
I thought it was expensive. Especially when you don't drink alcohol or eat sugary and processed foods so you can't make use of the extras.
- Webb (10/5): I wish we had stayed longer. Such a memorable place for our family. We had a blast. - Loved how they had everything you could need. Family friendly, very clean, it was amazing!
- Corinna (10/5): Super schöner Aufenthalt - Frühstück war gut, Brot oder Brötchen dazu wären toll gewesen. Lage super schön
- Mamoru (10/5): Perfect -
- Dan (10/5): - Best camping ever! Tipi was clean and bougie! So comfortable and the heaters and heated blanket were perfect. Loved the elk that visited in the evening, the individual fire pits and the community fire pit! The water was wonderful...hot, cool, or cold! The bathrooms were posh and clean! Super place to stay!
- Kristin (10/5): - Such an amazing experience. Staff was super friendly! We had the best time and would love to come back and bring friends!
- Debora (10/5): -
- Łukasz (9/5): - Amazing experience!
- Rory (10/5): - Pleasant stay. Son loved it
- Lane (8/5): - A great experience staying in a tipi. Very nice inside and bathroom was clean and spacious. Great location watching a elk herd across the rd. Expected more at breakfast for the price.
- Wendy (10/5): Amazing location and we loved the entire tipi experience! Well done! We will be back soon! -
- Silvia (8/5): - I liked all. They really do what they promiss and advertise.
- Catherine (10/5): - Everything!
- Julie (10/5): - The property was a bit smaller than we expected; it’s about 5 minutes from the town with many restaurants and shopping opportunities. The views from the teepees are breathtaking. It’s close to Yellowstone and all the park offers. The facilities were even nicer than described. The only down side was having the bathrooms/showers a short walk away, but that’s to be expected when camping. Everything else was spectacular. Breakfast and campfires were perfect places to gather with other guests to share Yellowstone experiences and recommendations. I loved that Dreamcatcher Tipis recommended Bear Paw Outfitters for horseback riding. We loved our experience there too.
- Sheri (8/5): - Glamping was fun, staff is awesome. Property is beautiful and well maintained and very relaxing. Breakfast is not really “breakfast” it is cereal, some protein bars, coffee etc … great for kids but not for adults. There are 2 heaters in each tipi for those cold nights but it is still cold when it is only 30 degrees outside. Overall, great experience and would definitely go back.
- Lynne (10/5): Would definitely return! - Wide variety of breakfast options and snacks. Very comfortable beds and inviting space. Whole concept was well thought out for guests- Our tipi was at the edge closest to 89- lots of road noise early in the morning. Also sitting area for tipi behind us was right next to us, so we could hear their entire conversation
- Shannon (10/5): -
- Ivanna (10/5): - Amazing experience
- Pieterjan (9/5): -
- Janine (10/5): - Can’t say enough about this place!! It was absolutely amazing. Highly recommended. Very friendly, helpful and extremely CLEAN. Don’t pass this one up
- Cheryl (8/5): Highly recommend - Super cute, unique and very clean. The smores and firepits were great. The tipis were tastefully furnished. Proximity to road. Wish they could have been a little more out in the wilderness.
- Dana (10/5): Perfect spot. Very cozy and relaxing. They nailed it - The views and staff were amazing. Great experience which my wife loved. Everything was perfect
- Pawan (5/5): -
- Shannon (10/5): We loved it! - It was beautiful, very clean, the bathrooms were spotless. We loved everything about it.
- Gwen (10/5): - My husband I loved staying here. From the friendly person showing us around during checkout, to the tipi accommodation and the view, to the extremely clean bathrooms, to the wonderful breakfast selections…we would stay here again in a heartbeat.
- Dominika (10/5): Unforgettable experience! Don’t hesitate to book - Very clean, Great decor, comfortable beds, amazing views. Nice touch with evening fire, s’mores and wine. Love it!
- Lorena (10/5): It was beautiful all of our accommodations were carefully planned we are pretty picky bit this was our favorite and the - It was so beautiful in the mornings and evenings It was hot during the day
- Jeremy (10/5): - Friendly staff. Good atmosphere.
- Prudence (10/5): Luxurious family glamping close to Yellowstone - My husband and I and our two daughters (7yrs and 5yrs old) had a beautiful relaxing time at Dreamcatcher. We booked a tipi with a king bed and two single beds. The tipis were super clean and tidy. The beds and bedding very comfortable and the bathrooms were spotless and well organised. The showers were amazing. We appreciated the gas firepit outside the room and evening drinks with smores at the communcal campfire. The continental breakfast was appreciated. We ordered pizza and ate it at the common tables watching the sunset over the mountains. The place felt very safe for the kids to run around. They made friends with other children staying there and spent the entire evening playing together. There were also Elk roaming the property between the tipis when we arrived which was very special. Our tipi did smell a little musty from the recent rain which had soaked into the carpet at the tipi entrance and was still drying out, however this would not stop us from staying again. There was a fan inside the tent to air it out. Also whilst the facilities were amazing and well maintained and the staff very friendly and helpful, I still consider the cost very steep, given the shared bathrooms and the location is a little odd sandwiched between two houses, its not as 'remote' as we thought. If they lowered the price a little it would really be a gem.

Nichts
- Kate (10/5): These guys have thought of everything! - Absolutely everything! The tipis were spacious and beds were comfortable. They came with everything we could need, from extra outlets to space heaters to water bottles. We loved the option to grill onsite so it felt like we were camping. The s’mores and drinks around the fire on the evenings were really sweet. There were loud of breakfast options. The site had plenty of comfortable sitting areas to curl up with a good book. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean, modern, roomy and actually warm on cold nights I wished for an en-suite bathroom in the middle of the night ;-)
- Asuka (10/5): - I enjoyed the stay, thanks
- Sukyna (7/5): Great location and very comfy - Tipi is beautiful and the bed is so very comfy bathrooms are super clean and lovely showers.
The community campfire and drinks in the evening are a nice touch breakfast could do with some bread or muffin items. Staff in the mornings are not very approachable and so not very chatty could be a little bit more friendlier and speak to the guests
