• Mark (6/5): It worked out fine for a quick layover in Maun. Not a lot of good choices - We asked for a room on the river after our toilet broke in the original room. They got us one with a river view a it was nicer. We appreciated their efforts to accommate us. The first room was dark and dingy.

• Julie (9/5): - I really enjoyed staying in one of the chalets (#39). The restaurant was also great. The vegetarian sausage at breakfast and the veggie burger at dinner were both delicious. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. My room key often didn't work and needed to be reset at the main desk in the lobby.

• Trisha (8/5): A comfortable and convenient place to stay in Maum - I liked the close proximity to the airport and having the shuttle both pick us up upon arrival and drop us off on departure. The lodge was very nice with good amenities, pools, restaurant and spa etc. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We all enjoyed our stay. The menu at the restaurant was a little limited for vegetarians and pescatarians.

• Trisha (8/5): A resonable,comfortable and conveniently located place to stay - I liked the fact that it was centrally located and close to being able to walk to a mall. It also had a swimming pool for being able to cool off. The little cottages were cute. I also appreciated the nightly music and especially enjoyed the local dancing group who performed one night. I think that least favourite thing was the food menu in the restaurant. The breakfast was good but the dinner menu was not very vegetarian friendly. I had dinner there for a few nights and was disappointed with my meals.

• Heather (7/5): Nice place if you are self driving. I would prefer staying at a location with a dining facility or restaurants within wa - The rooms were lovely, spacious, and clean. The grounds were nice also, including the pool. There was no restaurant at the property to have dinner, meaning you had to take a taxi each way if you didn’t have a vehicle.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The laundry service, pool and spa is also a great bonus! The restaurant and laundry service is quite pricey.

• johno_sa (10/5): Centrally Located Lodge with all Facilities and Great Service. - All staff provided excellent service, whether it was the porter, reception, main dining stewards, breakfast staff or excursion desk. Rooms were airconditioned, with excellent free wi-fi. Pool was a good size, clean and adequately shaded. Dining room and separate breakfast room were excellent, with a high quality, varied menu at quite reasonable cost, plus nightly specials. King size bed would be a little more comfortable that queen size - but this is a minor point.

Naomi was heel goed en aardig maar degene die ons bediende bij het diner begreep er niks van. Sfeer in de Boma flink achteruit gegaan. Geen vuur, geen sfeerverlichting. Ook de ontbijtplek is niet veel soeps. Jammer. Er valt veel meer van te maken

• Xander Goosen (7/5): GOOD - MAUN LODGE IS A COMFORTABLE PLACE TO STAY. THE GYM WAS QUITE NICE. ROOMS ARE CLEAN. FACILITIES WEREN'T GREAT, SUCH AS THE SWIMMING POOL BEING OUT OF ORDER. THE LODGE BREAKFAST WAS SHOCKINGLY BAD.

• Karli (10/5): - We spent 3 nights at the Maun Lodge. It is a bit older, but considering its convenience and free airport shuttle, we were happy with our stay. The room itself was basic but very clean and house keeping came every day to tidy up and replace any dirty towels and restock complimentary still water bottles to the room. The restaurant is busy and offers a decent menu. The staff is friendly and helpful with whatever you need. We enjoyed the pool on our final day. It is a cold water pool, but we were happy lounging in the lounge chairs and enjoying the shade and quiet. Overall, we would stay again if we return to Maun.

Lovely dinner , drum dance show and lovely staff Small bed, limited facilities in the room, the reeds were being burnt outside our room so it was smoggy, the charging points were broken, we notified staff but were not offered to move, a very kind receptionist loaned me her own portable charger and the bar staff let me plug in there whilst we ate dinner. I would y have been bothered but it was our last night and we were hoping for some luxury. I needed my phone to check in and alarms/ travel etc… the pool area had very limited seating for sunbathing and the sun moved from the pool early - we had a balcony so this was perfect however we were smoked out! It was advertised as a queen room, my fault I didn’t read the small print properly as the queen room only had a standard double bed! Shower was good but very naff basic decor not luxurious at all.
• Catharine (4/5): Sadly…Would not stay again. - The shuttle driver was friendly and welcoming I was given mixed information on my room upgrade. They canceled my Booking appointment, and charged me almost double for a “river view room” which consisted of a once dried marsh (not a river) overlooking rush-hour traffic on a bridge with only the occasional cow walking by. It felt outrageously overpriced and front desk was not friendly.
