- Chris (10/5): We loved staying at Mike’s coastal bed and breakfast and hope to return again someday. - The Harbor Inn was a really beautiful space. Everything felt comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the European style breakfast provided as well as all the other accommodations. Mike provided beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas for us to take. We loved the bikes we could ride into town. The location was ideal, close to downtown but not in the very center where it could get too busy. Mike had great suggestions for us throughout our stay as well.

- Xan (10/5): This is a perfect place to spend a few days or as many as possible to explore Kennebunkport! - The Harbor Inn is a perfect choice for a quaint New England Inn. The property has recently been remodeled but hasn’t lost any of its charm. The front porch is an ideal place to relax and take in the scenery. The Harbor Inn is also within walking distance of many local restaurants. They also had bicycles free of charge to peruse around the island. Mike, the innkeeper, was a great host and got to know each of his guests and had excellent service. One special treat are the homemade cookies and muffins served fresh daily! We will definitely rebook again. We had no complaints!

- Sally (10/5): Lovely 3 day stay - this is a great location to explore Kennebunkport and surrounds. - Family run and recently renovated. We were greeted by the friendly and helpful son of the owner who manages the inn and couldn’t have felt more welcome. Spacious and attractive common areas with books, games, puzzles and lovely front porch. Breakfasts were excellent - hot options provided over the weekend, and freshly baked cookies each afternoon. Nice to have bicycles available for guests - we used them several times. Nothing!
- Samantha (10/5): Fabulous stay at the gorgeous Harbour Inn. - Mike is truly an exceptional host. He is absolutely committed to ensuring his guests have the best experience. The property is of a high standard throughout. We loved sitting on the rocking chairs on the front porch and the complementary bikes made it easy for us to explore Kennebunkport and easily get to the local sandy beach in a couple of minutes. Breakfast was very good too. Thank you Mike for making us feel so welcome. We were sad to leave. Thank you Kennebunkport for the 4th July fireworks.
- Susan (10/5): Just what we needed! - The little cottage is perfect for two. Of course, stop into the big house for puzzles, homemade snacks, or just to hang out. The flowers around the property made my heart happy. Mike is a nice guy, too. Not much, really. If I had to reach, grab some new foam pillows would be a nice upgrade. Again, I’m reaching.

The Harbor Inn is ideally located to walk around Kennebunkport and visit all the area sights - St Ann's By The Sea, Walker's Point and Dock Square... The strong coffee and tasty light breakfast was a perfect start to our days...and the afternoon whoopie pies were a great pick-me-up! Our room was very cozy, clean, and quiet...hope to visit again!

There were also beach towels, chairs and bikes available. Unfortunately the property did not meet my expectations, having read the reviews I guess we all have different standards. It was tired and in need of a refurb, the bed was uncomfortable and the shower in need of replacing! There were no in room facilities, ie, no TV, coffee facilities, room refresh. It didn’t represent value for money.

A bunch of bikes were provided to get around town and easily get to all beaches. Cookies and cakes were made each day and be sure to stay for Sunday brunch, the blueberry french toast is soo good! Thanks for an unforgettable stay.

- Melanie (10/5): Welcoming and relaxing stay at a charming Inn with a great host. - Beautiful traditional Inn with a great location. The rooms are charming and come with all the toiletries you need. Breakfast is delicious and they provide home baked goodies each afternoon. The communal lounge is beautiful and has a communal TV too. Not forgetting Mike our host who was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend. Nothing it was lovely

- Julianne (8/5): Very nice inn! - Comfortable, clean, modest older house. Host very friendly and helpful. Great strong coffee blend and breakfast. It was relatively expensive, but more affordable than anywhere else in town.

- Liz (10/5): We Saved The Best for Last - The owners have done a great deal to make your stay great. We had a nice experience. I would definitely recommend it! This was our last place to stay on an 8 day travel experience all through New England. I would say we saved the best for last!
- Thomas (8/5): - We very much enjoyed our stay at The Harbour Inn. The owner Mike made us very welcome from the moment that we arrived. Some aspects of the property, particularly the bathrooms, need updating, but we appreciate that this is an ongoing project.
- Margarita (10/5): Exceptional - I rented four rooms on one floor for four groomsmen and their wives. I did not stay there to try the beds. The wedding reception was across the street. The groomsmen and wives raved about the comfort, effort to accommodate a late arrival, the breakfast and congeniality of the owner. They not only raved to the parents who made the arrangements but by the end of the reception across the street approx 30% of the wedding guests heard the positive reviews and repeated the information to other wedding attendees. The groomsmen could walk to the reception. Not all of them had experienced a b&b so harbor inn was a gentle first exposure. I would not hesitate to recommend them. We are parents of the groom and the harbor inn cared for my son’s friends exceptionally even with a few unexpected detours.

- David (9/5): Very nice Inn, loved our room, hoping to stay again. - The Inn is very charming. Only had the chance to use the common rooms a little, but they are nice. Cute front porch for an afternoon cocktail or morning coffee. The room was very nice, but the bathrooms are understandably very small. Breakfast was nice, muffins, ham & cheese sliders, tater tots, coffee, juice, cereal, etc. Innkeeper was very friendly and accommodating.
- Fishlock (8/5): On the whole very nice stay. - We loved Mike the host. He was so attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The sheets on the bed were too hard and the room needed more insulation you could hear pipes rattling and people moving about in the next room.

Huge front porch with rocking chairs. Perfect location, away from downtown and so close to the coast. Close to Mabel’s restaurant!! The BEST hot butter lobster roll ever!!!
