- James (10/5): A Gem of a place along 25 north of Cheyenne. - This facility is a GEM in the valley driving from Billings to Cheyenne and Denver. We were tired and hungry trying to make it to Cheyenne hotel prices there were ridiculous and so I checked hotels.com and found this new hotel which is better than the courtyard I stayed in at Billings the night before. A fantastic Mexican restaurant just two blocks away and a couple other nice restaurants in town. If you’re going north or south on 25 I need a fantastic place to stay and get a great night’s rest. I highly recommend it.
- Jennifer (6/5): - When we checked in the lady was absolutely wonderful very helpful however, when I checked out or try to both ladies of their completely ignored me and I was standing up there for a few minutes the older lady was on the phone and as soon as she got off the phone. I handed her my key and she immediately got on the phone. Neither one of them acknowledge me or said anything. Very disappointing being we just moved to this town and this is how they treat their locals. My daughter went to get breakfast and got nasty. Looks because she went back to get more. We booked two rooms and had three kids so the look she was getting from the service was completely unacceptable. Sorry we ate your food. We barely even took anything so I didn’t appreciate that.

- Gay (10/5): The Perfect Hotel - Clean, quiet, and extraordinarily comfortable. A perfect hotel stop and stay. We would definitely return. Also Tesla Suoerchargers and destination chargers on premises. They advertise a continental breakfast that in reality was a full meal. Everyone was hospitable.

- Guide48183914583 (10/5): This was a fabulous hotel and I was so pleased with every aspect, clean room, wonderful breakfast 🥰 - This hotel is a long way from a big city but it’s well worth the drive even if you have to go out of your way. I stayed there on my way back to Arkansas from Helena Montana. It’s got a terrific breakfast… the best I’ve ever had and I live in hotels across America. The rooms are extremely clean and it was recently all refurnished and updated. The staff are kind and helpful. I wish I could have stayed an extra day or two. I will plan my western travels so I can hit it again in the future.

- Adam (4/5): - This place used to be the best place to stay in Wheatland. There used to be cookies, water upon check-in. Seems new ownership may have different vision? Not hard to shine in Wheatland…. Clean and fix your ev chargers, (destination chargers for guests) bring back simple things. A clean room and basic things would be good. No ice and no water offered is odd. Breakfast was what you would expect. Also all but one charger spot taken by non ev guests.

- Dream07142442112 (10/5): Wow! Unexpected excellence! - This hotel was much more than we expected. Reservations were made during a long drive from MS to Yellowstone. We were exhausted and needed a place to sleep. Reservations were made about 3 hrs before arrival - $166/night for a 2 Q suite. When traveling I always look at reviews for 2 things - cleanliness and comfortable beds. Heartland did not disappoint! What a room! Spacious with a couch and 2 club chairs , plenty of room for us to relax. The beds are so comfortable- I checked the mattress brand! (Beautyrest- pillow top). Cleanliness- very clean and smelled good too. The breakfast was good, but the pork green chili over - well everything, made it even better. Negatives- the drive in to the hotel is very muddy due to road work. I don’t recommend a drive through the town on the way to the hotel- stay on the main highway to the 2nd exit for an easier drive!

- Dawn (4/5): New Management Needed - First impression- three employees smoking in the carport, one of which was the manager. A few days after our stay, I saw they charged my card a rate nearly $90 higher than our checkout receipt. Shower faucet was broken, as well as the bathroom light switch. Property and room was extremely clean. All staff was super friendly except two were noticeably lacking in hospitality, including the manager.

I was a bit skeptical as I haul precious antique furniture and collectible items so always skeptical when this happens. Everything turned out good with no problem. Breakfast was plentiful with options for vegetarians. Had a great night's sleep. Big shower/tub as well. Enjoyed our short stay thoroughly.
- I3963GAmichaelp (10/5): Fabulous Overnight Stay. - My wife and I took a last-minute road trip up to Wheatland. We saw the Heartland Inn and decided to try it. What a nice place to stay! The staff was friendly and engaging. The lobby was clean and neat. Our room was on the first floor and was quiet while winds howled outside. It was well-kept and appealing. The bed was big and very comfortable. Best pillows ever. Good basic hot breakfast. We plan on going back. I have already recommended it to a friend.

They tolerated us walking around looking like swat going out at 330 am and returning in evenings. Redhead at desk was sweet professional and helpful..rooms were clean and comfortable … had a small fire incident got evacuated for a little bit which sucked but not really their fault …

When my wife called for a reservation, she told Barb that her husband was a disabled Vet, she immediately put us in the room with walkin shower and shower bars - it was GREAT. When checking in, the polite young man told us that the mexican restaurant nearby was very good - WOW - it was EXCELLENT. Well done!

Shower was nice with good pressure however the lighting in bathroom was not real good. Hubby had hard time shaving. On a nice note the coffee pot had a wrapped coffee filter holder and offered coffee, tea & hot chocolate. They had cookies in lobby when we arrived. Everything seemed clean. Breakfast was usual fast food motel food & they also offered gluten free Cheerios. I only had Bagel & OJ both were good.

Right off I-25 with easy access to Wheatland, Guernsey, and Fort Laramie. I would recommend the Heartland for business or a family getaway.

The room was spacious, bed & pillows were Awesome. Plenty of room on the counter top. VERY CLEAN. Would stay here again. Right off the freeway.
- HikingLover (10/5): I love it here! - I love it here. We stop every time we pass this way. It's clean, quiet, we feel safe, and the room and bed are so comfortable. The hot tub is working and felt great. Breakfast is hot and delicious. Wheatland is remote, but this is a special find.

- rds554 (10/5): A Slice of Nice in Wheatland - Best in lodging option in Wheatland, be a long shot. Rooms are nice, clean, and the staff was always so courteous and helpful. Honestly I gave the five stars because in my travels I stay in a lot of high end hotels; and no this isn’t the Intercontinental in Tel Aviv or the Ritz in Singapore but measured against your other options it is hands down the best.

Room was super clean, beds extra comfortable and the full breakfast has everything you could want! This is our halfway stop from home to Denver. We will never stay anywhere else!
- johnfJ1041FS (10/5): Stop looking. This is the place. - Run the way motels used to be run. Comfortable bed, plenty of bath linen, good early (5;30) breakfast, clean, big closet, pleasant staff. A library of “things to do” while in the area. They even provide postcards! This is your motel if in Wheatland.

Every single person on staff went absolutely above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Cleanliness and hospitality was without a doubt 10/10! Ms. Jeanne is the manager and she is an absolute ANGEL!!! We cannot run out of good things to say about this hotel and our stay at it!
- suttonjd (10/5): Excellent place to stay in Wheatland! - Very nice place to stay! The Heartland was very clean and well taken care of. The staff had excellent customer service skills and were all very friendly. The beds and pillows are quite comfortable! The pool, hot tub, workout room and free breakfast were all major perks considering the very reasonable room rates. I would definitely stay here again!
- BryanJ486 (10/5): Best Hotel Hands Down!!! - Stayed there 1 night from South Dakota. We arrived at 1 am and what a great hotel. Tesla charging stations out front, beautiful inside and the night representative was great. he took our Covid-19 Breakfast Order for the morning was very outgoing and took pride in his Job. The room is super clean, very quiet, comfortable beds it was all very nice and modern. Best Hotel we stayed at on our 3 week trip. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED
- cattoes (10/5): Very nice place to stay - Extremely nice and professional lady at check-in who gave us names of restaurants for dinner. Our room was spacious with a comfortable seating area. Very clean as well as very clean bathroom. Mattress comfortable, many pillows and excellent linens. The continental breakfast was adequate with several choices of different things. Overall excellent place to spend the night.

- Verified traveler (8/5): ❤️ Everything but the pool attendant :) - Was there for 2 nights for HS Rodeos. The beds were very comfy and tall, soft warm covers/blankets, the bathroom was clean, water pressure was great. Lighting not so great in bathroom. Breakfast was good, nothing fancy but good. Workiut room was great, everything worked in it! Pool was small but fun the play in. Hot tub was big enough for more than 3 people. Night manages was pretty rude when she came in at the end of the night and demanded to know whose kids were whose and where parents were and such but over all a very nice experience.
