Amazing things he got in. Short walk to downtown, and enjoyed a great evening at the Twohney pub. Had a great chat with Rose (forgot her Gaelic name pronunciation.) The full Irish breakfast we had the following morning was wonderful, Would recommend a stay there for sure. A few cobwebs in the room, but nothing serious.

Dato che la struttura si trova su una collinetta rispetto al paesino sottostante, offriva una bellissima visuale della zona marittima. Il proprietario è molto gentile ed ospitale. Molto carino il fatto che l'area comune della struttura, trattandosi anche dell'abitazione dello stesso proprietario, fosse poi corredata anche delle loro foto di famiglia. The bed was comfortable, so we had a good sleep and the selection at breakfast was suitable for our journey. So, very satisfied overall. Thanks, A bit less rain? Geen overdadig ontbijt met lekker vers gebakken brood en verfsfruit salade. Het had de sfeer van een motel. Aan ons doel, 1 nacht op doorreis, voldeed het.

Il est mal entretenu et ne correspond plus à un niveau 4 étoiles comme présenté par le site Booking. Les photos sont trompeuses et anciennes. La vue de la chambre: une catastrophe ! la grande majorité des chambres sont derrière et n'ont aucune vue sur la mer. La cour/jardin ressemble à un dépotoir. Le manque de propreté de la chambre, les insectes et araignées font partie du décor intérieur ! La chambre 1 est collée au local technique (machinerie et laves linges) très bruyant la nuit , ouvert toute la journée sur l'exterieur (voir photo) . Impossible de dormir. Mauvaise isolation, aucune intimité. Le gérant n'est pas professionnel et irrespectueux du client. Il est dans le déni total et ne veux pas entendre les remarques sur son établissement. Le linge sèche dans la cours à la vue de tous, les voitures sont garées devant les fenêtres des chambres ! Cet établissement ne mérite pas sa notation actuelle. Son prix est aussi très excessif au vue de la qualité du logement, du personnel et des services.

• Mary (10/5): Very nice! - Denis was an amazing host, very fun and helpful. We felt very comfortable and we enjoyed our two nights there. The Island View House was located on a hill that we were able to walk down from into town, which did involve steps. For folks with walking issues, they would probably need to drive the car into town though the house is located just a block from the town center. Very nice and awesome breakfast too. Our room's window overlooked the parking area, which meant when others were parking, that we had to close our curtains for privacy. That was really the only issue, and only seems to affect the room that we had.

• julien (1/5): An Inhumane and Traumatic Experience – Avoid at All Costs - The parking lot where I slept the entire night in my car with my 4 yrs old son.......... We had an absolutely unacceptable experience at this hotel, and I feel compelled to share it so that no other family goes through the same ordeal. 1. Refusal to Accommodate Our 4-Year-Old Child Despite booking a room with three beds, the owner refused to allow our 4-year-old son to even step inside the hotel, claiming that “children are not allowed.” As a result, I had to spend the entire night sleeping in our car, in the cold, in the hotel parking lot with my son, while my 7-months-pregnant partner stayed alone in the room. The next morning, the owner saw us coming out of the car and showed no compassion, no apology – nothing. 2. Zero Flexibility, Zero Empathy The day before (we had a 2 nights stay) , he had already refused to let us into the hotel because we arrived just a few minutes after 8 PM, which is when he “closes” the hotel. This, despite the fact that the door has a coded lock, which would make late check-ins effortless, like in thousands of hotels around the world. His only response to my situation was: “Not my problem!” We had to urgently find another hotel, far more expensive, and of course, he refused any refund or commercial gesture. 3. Aggressive and Humiliating Behavior The next morning, during breakfast, the owner made an aggressive remark to my pregnant partner, accusing her of “eating too much,” even though she only had two slices of ham and some cereal. He even asked her to open her belongings to make sure she hadn’t taken anything! Needless to say, the night before we had paid for but didn't consume as we where in another place. In summary: No empathy, no customer care, and utterly inhumane treatment. We travel frequently and have never been treated like this before in Ireland or elsewhere....... I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel entirely and booking somewhere else for the sake of your peace of mind and dignity.

• Martin (6/5): Bra läge. - Läget och frukosten. Värden är trevlig men kan brusa upp. Slå inte i dörrarna. Första natten stördes vi av oljud från en vattenpump. Andra natten fick vi ett rum i huvudbyggnaden som var tyst.

Die Mitarbeiterin war sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht, hat den Besitzer telefonisch kontaktiert und er kam und übergab und die Schlüssel, erklärte uns alles. Genügend Parkplätze. Vorne bei Haus 1 hat man eine ganz tolle AUSSICHT auf die Insel Frühstück war okay, Müsli, Brot, Marmelade, Schinken, Käse. Alles einfach aber gut. Frischer Obstsalat 👌 Die Zimmer in Haus 3 sind recht klein, es hat zwar alles was man braucht, die Betten waren uns zu weich. Das Fenster ungeputzt. Beim Parkplatz, Haus 3 war außen leider alles sehr ungepflegt. Unsere Aussicht war auf den Zaun + Gebüsch.

• Ingo (9/5): Die Unterkunft kommt nach ganz oben auf meine Irland-Liste. - Der Name - Island View House - ist Programm: Von der Unterkunft hat man einen tollen Blick auf die Bucht und die Insel. Das Stadtzentrum mit einem reichlichen Angebot an Pubs und Restaurant läßt sich auch zu Fuss gut erreichen. Das Gelände der Unterkunft bietet reichlich Platz für mehrere parkende PKW. Der Außenbereich lädt ein, die Seele baumeln zu lassen, wenn denn das irische Wetter mitspielt.
