Guest Reviews
- Elizabeth (8/5): Great family time and not bad weather either - Location was ideal and easy to walk everywhere
Plenty of shops and restaurants very near and a handy Nisa Local right underneath us The area immediately surrounding is a little unkempt and not very attractive but that's someone else's responsibility sadly
- Adam (9/5): -
- Walter (9/5): Everything was very smooth and all went well with no problems - The facilities were all excellent . WiFi was very good as was the heating and everything else. I thought that the balcony would be bigger

- Matt (10/5): A top place to say in Glasgow - The apartment was massive and had excellent facilities. It was close to everything and was easy to get onto the subway to access other parts of Glasgow. Ronnie, the host, was also so accommodating, especially with our later check in. The property was well fitted out, but could use some hooks for towels in the main bathroom.
- CarolH (10/5): Great, easily located, great location and hope to book again - The ease of check in and the cleanliness of the apartment N/A
- JL (10/5): - The comfort of the apartment.
The view.
- Morrison (10/5): - Fantastic Wee apartment! Right in the centre of everything, Nice easy staff to deal with and a nice modern finish to the apartment. Would defo stay here again!
- jacqueline (9/5): Everything was as described and just as we expected it to be. We will definitely be back - It was well situated close to the railway, shops and the metro. Ideal for going out for a meal, getting the metro to the west end and museums but also very easy to get the train to the hydro centre in an evening to watch a concert. We all loved relaxing looking out over the river and people / sunset watching.
Ged was prompt, easy to contact and very informative about the area. Nothing
- David (8/5): Home from Home - Ronnie, the host, was very accommodating and a cheerful chap. I loved the comfy beds and the view from the balcony; it was perfect to sit and watch the fireworks on New Year. It felt like a home from home, easy access to shops in central Glasgow, and a Tesco supermarket on the corner of St Enoch's Centre. We loved the apartment, everything was perfect. Highly recommended. Perhaps a small welcome pack for travellers arriving late, including essentials like milk, bread, butter, eggs, sugar, coffee and tea.
- Alison (8/5): Good base for a weekend in Glasgow - Spacious and tidy handy for the subway Surrounding area was quite run down
- Žiga (10/5): -
- Annette (9/5): Central spacious apartment - Very comfortable apartment, great views and close to everything. Comfy beds and spacious rooms.

- Rose (10/5): Central with stunning views! - Brilliant views from the apartment and a fabulous central location! Bryan was really lovely and helpful! The car parking space was a bonus! I liked everything !
- Ailsa (10/5): Great apartment with lovely view of the city. - Very central location, lovely apartment with a great view. Staff member was very welcoming and helped us with our bags before showing us around and giving us all the info we needed. The bed was SOOOO comfy!! We all had the best sleeps!!
- Andrea (8/5): Great apartment in a good location, we enjoyed our stay. - Great location, very central to everything that we needed in the city, loved having the view of the river. Clean and tidy apartment with good showers and everything that we needed. Didn’t like having to take the bins out (we didn’t have much rubbish so it wasn’t over flowing in the flat). We would not have walked along the river after dark as there was a lot of dealing going on but must admit watching it was entertaining. Parking was quite expensive.
- Shatha (10/5): - The person who was there for our check in was so helpful
Kind
Explained everything
High security
Near to center and the best subway coffe shop
Nero just a minute away
Best view ever on the river
Sunset lovely 😍 👌 👍 Nill
- Sandra (10/5): Great stay in Central Glasgow - Clean and tidy, comfortable and well situated. Nothing
- karen (10/5): Brilliant position close to train, shops. Apartment had more than expected- spotlessly clean all - There is absolutely nothing to fault at this property - 10/10 and more
- Celia (10/5): Nice comfortable with a beautiful view. - The apartment was really nice and clean with a beautiful view. The bedrooms were nice and comfortable with lots of towels the staff was very friendly welcome us in early then we expect. I would definitely recommend and book it again. The buzzer wasn’t working, but that wasn’t a big issue for us.
- Ian (8/5): Great apartment but please check the location - It was great getting met on arrival and having everything explained . The apartment is of the highest quality. Couple of things which are outwith the control of the apartment host but need mentioning :
1. The area outside the apartment is rough . The clydeside walk way in front of the flats was used as a meeting point for drug dealers . The area also presently has a reputation for prostitution. Something for fans of The Wire perhaps .
2. Due to a lift fault we left via the stairwell and there were young Asian girls wearing hi viz jackets sitting in the stairwell . How are they employed ? What are they doing ?
- Jamila (10/5): Highly recommend - Amazing location, high security, nice view Nothing
- Mesbah (10/5): -
- Leslie (9/5): Spacious apartment conveneintly located near City Centre with beautiful river views! - We loved how spacious and comfortable the apartment was. Everything was very clean; there was some evidence of wear and tear to the living room furniture, but it wasn’t a problem. The apartment was well supplied with toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and other useful amenities. Having a combination washer/dryer was also so useful! Up on the 7th floor, there was no noise from any neighbors in the building. The apartment is easy walking distance to the Central Train station as well as a Tesco Express, so very convenient for stocking up on food for meals and snacks. Many Glasgow attractions are within in easy walking distance, and the subway station is just around the corner. Our apartment had a beautiful view of the River Clyde, but the building is directly across the street from a small park where people tended to congregate starting in early afternoon until fairly late in the evening. If you wanted the balcony door open for ventilation, it could be quite noisy. There is also a fair amount of traffic noise from Clyde Street, which is also in front of the building. However, with the windows shut it is quite quiet. Also, the bedrooms are down a long hallway from the living room/kitchen, so if you close the door into the living area, it’s even quieter. Hooks in the hallway for coats or on the back of the bathroom doors would have been most welcome; it was difficult to find places for hanging a robe or keeping outdoor wear organized. This is an easy fix and I hope the apartment owners will consider adding this amenity.
- Sirpa (9/5): -
- Louise (10/5): The apartment was very clean staff were nice, would book again - Very modern and central
- Shirley (8/5): - We had a 7 day stay at the Clyde Waterfront apartment. The apartment was well appointed - 2 bedrooms - one with ensuite and king bed , other bedroom had 2 doubles , main bathroom in hallway , and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and machine washer , utensils , pots etc .
Port - a - crib and clothes drying rack . Lots of storage ! We were allowed to check in early . Staff very welcoming and gave us a walk through apartment at check in . Beds comfy although pillows were rock hard and should be replaced . Only fault we had is outside of building - at entrance, there is a terrible mess on opposite side ( bits of left over building debris , garage etc - an eyesore ) and across street on river side , nightly appearance of “ scruffy lot “ sometimes playing music and being loud - not any fault of owners but just something to keep in mind . Apartment is very central to shops, grocers , train station and subway . All walkable. Overall we enjoyed our stay . We travelled with 2 adults / 2 teens .
- Ahmed (9/5): Superb -
- NATHANIEL (10/5): - Excellent - thank you!
- Iain (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (10/5): Wouldn’t hesitate to come back and stay here again.shame it took us 24 hrs to get here but if I ever get the chance aga - Very central to shops, city centre and lovely views along the river. Not a thing. All lovely!
- Ayman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Traynor (7/5): Very convenient location to use as a base, near Merchant City for shopping ,dining.lovely view - apt had all we needed to store & prep food. all appliances, dishes, cutlery, pots & pans. dishwasher, clothes washing machine, tv 1 of the bathrooms had an exceptionally loud fan.
pillows a bit hard, an option of softer pillow would have been nice.
- Lukas (10/5): - This is a fabulous apartment for a family stay. Communication was excellent. The staff kindly allowed us to store our luggage in their office nearby from when we arrive off a morning flight until the apartment was ready for check in. Definitely would stay again!
- Azi (10/5): Outstanding experience and exceptional service - I had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all the main attractions, restaurants, and shops. The apartment itself was comfortable and well-equipped. The manager was incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to listen and assist with any questions. A friendly and professional approach.
- Mariela (10/5): Exceptional - The flat was big, greatly located and with a stunning view of the river. We had a great time
- Andrew (8/5): Bathroom - Great location, well equipped, comfortable beds Very small shower, the base of the shower and the shower bath was very slippery. The bathrooms are small, the floor space could be increased if there were wall mounted towels tails
- Peggy (8/5): Very good -
- Emma (8/5): Very good - Location and view Getting a little worn around the edges but still nice. Lift hit miss and stairway not great.
- Pauline (9/5): Superb - Excellent location
Spacious apartment
Friendly staff and good communication Extractor fan in bathroom didn't work
Water in shower in bathroom too hot - unable to alter temperature
- Mike (10/5): Great location and well appointed apartment - Apartment only One or two ( quite minor) maintenance issues
- Garratt (10/5): Fab apartment in a fab area, highly recommend - Lovely apartment, comfy beds, 2 excellent showers, well equipped kitchen, loved the balcony looking out on the Clyde, All in a superb city centre location. Owners were also super helpful & friendly Nothing bad to say
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - This was a fabulous find
Perfect location, downtown but convenient to walk to OVO Hydro (25 mins) or 8 mins train plusv10 min walk)
Excellent balcony view.
The company organisation and communication was spot on
Will definitely try and use them again for our next trip to C2C
- Carmel (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful apartment! Very clean. Super friendly host. A common issue around the UK is the high tubs and small showers, but at least the water pressure was good!
- Barry (8/5): Very good -
- Rachel (10/5): Spacious, clean, great view - Spacious for 4 people - nice separation between bedrooms and living space so sleep not disturbed. Great views over the river We would have benefitted from a few more kitchen items- more baking trays, serving bowls - but that’s just a nice to have.
Bell from the street to the apartment didn’t work
- Colleen (9/5): A great City Centre base. - The apartment was spacious, with plenty of storage and was very clean. fixtures and fittings were of a excellent standard and the bed was huge and very comfy. The location, overlooking the Clyde was great, handy for everything in the centre; sites, shopping, restaurants. Communication from the management team was prompt and being personally 'checked in' and shown how everything worked, was great. Also secure parking (Q-Park) 2 mins walk away. Nothing major.
There was a fair bit of noise from the road at the front, and it took us a night to figure the best way to maintain heat in the living room in the evening (leave the door into the hall open , so that the thermostat logs it), but that is really being picky. We would very happily stay in the apartment again.
- Nicola (10/5): Exceptional - Very good location, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds. Warm and comfortable
- Keith (9/5): Superb - View Wi-Fi code wouldn't work but didn't really need it
- Glenn (10/5): Looking forward to returning. - The apartment was well maintained, clean, spacious, well located and the view was fantastic.
- Marcos (8/5): - Great view of the riverside and convenient location for dining, shopping and transport.
- Christopher (10/5): - Convenient location - easy walk to restaurants, shopping, and transport. Quiet at night. Although building across the street is an eye sore, the area is safe (and the apartment faces the river). Good value for money for our family of 4.
- Administrator (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gemma (9/5): Superb -
- Philippa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Dolan (7/5): Good -
- Amrutha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amrit (7/5): Very convenient, comfortable - The view
- Walker (7/5): We enjoyed our stay even if the price really didn’t match the accommodation offered - The property was within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the train station The furnishings (other than the beds) were uncomfortable. For the price we paid I would expect more comfortable living room furniture to sit.
- Debra (8/5): - The Clyde Waterfront Apartments are centrally located and you're literally around the corner from all the action of Argyle Street.
- Michael (10/5): A great intro to Glasgow's culture. - Location was beautiful with a view of trees and the river through large wall of glass and small deck (which we did not use due to wind and temp). Closeness to some wonderful traditional old pubs (Scotia, Clutha, McScorsley) and shopping center was an unexpected bonus. The view of the police activity in response to vagrants/drug use across the street was interesting but not especially threatening.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aidan (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (7/5): Handy location but undesirables frequenting the area. - Easy to find and the host took us through all we needed to know about thr property. The property was in a good location in relation to the city centre, shops, restaurants and bars. The sofas were too small to be comfortable. The toilet seats weren't on straight. The towel rails were rickety and broken. A shelf in the unsuited shower would be better than having to set shampoo etc on the floor of the shower.
And a bit of milk so a cup of tea or coffee could be had on arrival would be a better touch.
- Erica (8/5): Very good -
- Carolyn (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at The Clyde Waterfront Apartment. The apartment was spacious and had everything you need. Including a washing machine.Convenient location next to a large shopping mall and minutes away from Buchanan Street and train stations.
The balcony was convenient and had a nice view of the River Clyde.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Sm (10/5): Probably the best view in Glasgow - The building has an excellent position, looking over to the beautiful sandstone Carlton Court on the other side of the clyde and full view of the portland street suspension bridge. The early morning trains coming in an out of Glasgow Central were a treat, the snake of cars in the background heading to the southside - and a clear view of the key bridges over the clyde.
The balcony provided a fascinating perspective of the city. But once the doors were closed - it was a peaceful, quiet and comfortable apartment.
- Ruth (8/5): Overall very comfortable and convenient, I would not hesitate to use again or recommend to others. - The apartment was located very well for both city center and music venues, fabulous views of the Clyde and bridges especially in the evening when it was lit up. Bedrooms are set to the rear of the apartment so quiet for sleeping even with the window open. Nothing not to like.
- Ragna (10/5): Clyde Waterfront Apartments & 24 HIght Street - Everything was exemplary, a little problem arose and an employee immediately came and offered us another apartment and dropped us off there. We got a bigger apartment downtown. Lived up to all expectations and much more than that. We'll definitely go back to this one
- Spencer (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing apartment. Very comfortable and beautiful river view. Easy walk to the train station and everything in city center.
- Kate (9/5): Lovely flat; spoilt on Saturday night by someone playing loud club/trance music from 10pm to 6am. - Met by host. Well equipped. Comfortable.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good - Plenty of space, good location Only negative was that the grassy square directly opposite was clearly used as the local druggy square. Not pleasant looking out at that all day. Police had a presence but with little impact. Wasn't a huge issue but I wouldn't have wanted to have been staying with children. I know this is not the fault of the apartment though.
- Jacqueline (9/5): Superb -
- Julian (9/5): Great apartment in a convenient location. -
- Lynn (9/5): Great stay! - Loved the view of the river! Very clean, kitchen had everything we needed, laundry, two bathrooms was very nice! We did see some shady things going on along the river walk, made us a little nervous to walk at night.
- Oliver (9/5): Recommended for city trip to Glasgow- location and appartement as such are top! - Very proper and well equipped as described. 3 Minutes footwalk to city centre. Friendly staff with guided check-in. All good
- Derek (7/5): Good -
- John (8/5): Very good - Clean simple, had all we needed in a great location to access the downtown. Could have been a fold out bed in the living room
- Fehaid (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- A.k. (9/5): Nice apartment to stay in Glasgow - Nice, spacious apartment with comfortable large beds and well furnished. Friendly staff who help immediately. We had a good stay. The water in the shower was very hot and we couldn't get it cooler (maybe we couldn't figure it out). Apartment was a bit chilly in the night and early mornings. Some odd people hang out in front of the apartment who spoil the nice view of the river.
- Vicki (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katrine (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was just Perfect:)
- Teresa (10/5): We had a lovely stay and the apartment was perfect for our needs . - Very well placed for the city. Nothing
- Gilian (6/5): We had a very pleasant weekend and enjoyed our stay at the apartment. - Spacious , clean ,light and airy and comfortable No safety hand rail in shower or bath for easy in /out for anyone with any mobility problems. Extractor fan not working in shower room . Some of bedding had stains on but were clean.
Across road from property there was a lot of dubious actions going on and making it feel slightly unsafe at times when venturing out.
- Neridah (8/5): Very good -
- Pauline (9/5): Superb - Spacious, excellent location
- Julie-anne (8/5): Very good -
- Kylie (8/5): Very good -
- Francis (7/5): Good -
- Herman (10/5): - Nearby the city centre with a beautyfull view in the river Clyde.
A lovely apartment, with enough room for a familie of four travelling with teenagers.
