- Charles (10/5): - Super séjour à l'Ilot Palmiers, au calme en pleine nature ! Bungalow propre, bien agencé et décoré. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon moment. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et de bon conseil.

Et en cours de séjour, nous avons goûté la noix de coco du jardin... et merci pour les conseils. A recommander.

Nous sommes venus avec nos enfants (9 mois et 3ans) et le logement était plus que bien équipé et adapté. Les enfants ont adoré les oiseaux sur la terrasse et nous la vue sur la mer. L’accueil d’Armel a été très chaleureux et de bons conseils. Nous recommandons vivement de passer un séjour ici.

- Victoria (10/5): A place of natural beauty, birds and lush vegetation, friendly people and divine beaches. - The property was small but very charming. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious and the shower was excellent. Our beds were comfy and mosquito net, air conditioning and fan all worked well (in fact we didn't need air con at night we were cool up there in the hills(. We LOVED the open air terrace at the front which had a comfy sofa and chairs, looking out over the hills and the beautiful plants and trees. There were tame birds that came to visit at breakfast and turtle doves cooing. Beautifully peaceful. The kitchen on the terrace was very practical. We didn't go to the pool until the last day, but it too is a very peaceful place to relax and have a cold dip, lie on the sunbeds and lovely clean decking. The location (above the town of Pointe Noire in Basse-Terre) was great, well placed for the most beautiful beaches, walks and the many sights on offer. Our host was was delightful, we had good chats and and good advice on what to do. Also absolutely excellent value for money. The place was absoutely lovely - nothing to complain about there. The main thing to know is you must have a car... there are few buses and everywhere is at least 20 minutes drive away, if not more, including a trip down to Pointe Noire to the supermarket or (delicious) boulangerie. Restaurants get crowded at high season, so get there on the dot of noon if you want to eat and be aware that many restaurants close from 4 or 6pm. One thing we didn't bargain for was the fete days (bank holidays in English). Despite high season things were shut (including, as we found out petrol stations - and some that were open ran out of petrol on 1st Jan which was alarming, given the distances involved to find another one).

Le coin piscine avec la vue sur les palmiers est très agreable. Les hôtes sont vraiment chaleureux et à l'écoute, avec le planteur de bienvenu. Le petit plus est l'accès à la machine à laver très pratique.

- Melanie (7/5): Good - We stayed at the Ti Colibri bungalow for three nights, it was convenient and Armel was very attentive and friendly throughout our stay. I am a light sleeper so the surrounding with a lot of dogs barking and rooster crowing throughout the night was cumbersome to me.

- Elisabetta (8/5): Lovely bungalows in a very nice location in Basse-Terre - Beautiful property perched on the hill, immersed in palm trees and lush vegetation. The bungalows are nicely decorated and well equipped and have all very large patios. Karine was very helpful and welcomed us with kindness while giving us many nice tips about where to eat out and activities to do around Basse Terre. There were not many amenities you give for granted in a hotel, such as shampoo in the shower and an extra roll of toilet paper. also, it was a little disappointing that we paid $40 extra for the first breakfast - which included only a few packed supermarket items.
