• Robert (7/5): - A very good value hotel. Room was large with a large double bed. Walking distance to the Mekong. Rooms are dark with a small window partly obscured by the wardrobe. I always needed the lights on.

• Aliza (10/5): Excellent stay close to the river in Nakhon Phanom - This hotel is even nicer than we'd hoped. The room is spacious, the bed is what we like -- very firm. Daily housekeeping supplies drinking water in glass bottles (YAY) and there are both hot water and drinking water available in the lobby throughout the day, with tea, coffee and malted hot drink mix. We would bring in our food and use the dining tables to eat our dinner and breakfast. The proprietors and all their staff are fantastic. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. The furniture in the room is attractive and traditional, made of wood; it's an old-fashioned, homey feel in the room. Plenty of storage space. The location is ideal: close to the riverside, and a fantastic jey (vegan restaurant) very close by. We had a wonderful stay here and recommend it highly. This was a perfect stay -- no suggestions for improvement.
• Kees (9/5): Simple & Pleasuarble Hotel - 40 Room Hotel in a building from 2007 just of the mainroad. Nice spacious rooms with hard mattress. All staff members and the family that run the hotel are super friendly and always willing to help. Room, bathroom and bedsheets & Towels are clean. A bit dark because only one middle sized window. AC and fridge are working well. Rooms are cleaned on request. No Credit Card accepted. Only Thai digital payment or cash.

• Dale (6/5): An okay budget option for this town - - good location (between bus stop and river) - hot water worked well - curtain is very dark - AC worked at least - upon checking out the lady at reception asked if there were any issues so I told her about the plug socket issues and she wrote it down which shows they at least want to improve - WiFi works fairly well IF you connect to the right one - refill for drinking water available downstairs - bum gun it’s fairly deserving of 3 stars. Cons: - firm bed (but not incredibly hard) - no soft orange lights for bed time (all bright white lights) - plug socket didn’t fit correctly - noisy AC and noisy fridge - AC remote didn’t work at some point (but I managed to fix it) - issues with Wi-fi BUT I managed to get it working by joining the correct network (they have a few options all with the same password) - I saw two bugs - weird hole in bathroom - no payment via card (I used cash)

Loved the lobby with tables and plates and cutlery and coffee which meant you could bring food home fro the market. River 5 minutes walk. Bicycles for rent. The staff are so kind and cute. Amazing price/performance ratio.Felt like home. Thanks very much. Nothing

• Soh (8/5): Quite comfortable stay. - Room is spacious and a comfortable bed. Have a balcony with good sunlight. Very easy to get transport during the day but not at night around 7pm. Can get foods easily. No kettle to boil water. No hair dryer.

• Lapapan (9/5): Good, clean and comfortable place to stay in Nakhon Phanom - The room is spacious and clean. Facilities are good. Almost all staff are friendly. It's only 6 minute walk from hotel to Mekong River. There is no food shop or restaurant nearby. Hotel has dining area but does not provide breakfast. I need to buy the day before and keep in the fridge for the morning.
