Monique (10/5): - L'emplacement était idéal car je visitais Thiron-Gardais pour le collège Royal et militaire, à deux pas. Le personnel est adorable, très accueillant. Le restaurant est exceptionnel. Cuisine créative, notamment le foie gras en entrée, suggestion de vin interessante, bref à refaire sans hésitation. La chambre était très correcte, de décor un peu simple. Par contre, la salle de bain, visiblement nouvellement rénovée, était parfaite. Lieu hautement recommandé.
Verified traveler (6/5): Bon petit hôtel dans une bourgade du Perche - Ce petit hôtel situé dans un village du Perche permet de rayonner facilement dans la région le temps d'un weekend prolongé. C'est un 3 étoiles bien entretenu. Notre chambre ne donnait pas sur le grand jardin arrière mais sur la rue. Malgré tout, c'était très calme. Le service est sans prétention mais attentionné. Le petit déjeuner est très bien servi, avec des viennoiseries véritablement délicieuses. Au dîner, le restaurant gastronomique attire une clientèle plus large, à juste titre. Nous avons passé un très bon moment.

Eric (10/5): Une pépite - Personnel charmant, accueil parfait, pour un séjour plus long il vaut mieux prendre une chambre plus grande avec une salle de bain moins exiguë mais pour une courte nuit à l'issue d'un mariage cela était parfait, la literie est bonne, rien à dire sur la propreté, machine à café, bouteille d'eau et nombreuses prises de courant. Le village est sympa avec de nombreux commerces, vue sur une belle abbaye et le château de Stéphane Bern. Nous y avons déjeuné, c'est une divine surprise, cuisine imaginative, produits de qualité, jolie présentation, nous avons adoré excellent rapport qualité prix. Excellent rapport qualité/prix, silence et charme de ce village du Perche

Eugene (10/5): Excellent in all regards - Cycling La Veloscenie from Paris to Mont St-Michel, so this was a handy place for a stopover. We could safely leave our bicycles in the garage. The hotel is of excellent quality and comfort in pleasant surroundings. And it has an excellent restaurant also.
andrew (10/5): A place of character, service and good food. - Thiron Gardais is an excellent location for a short stay. It is a small town with lots of character. Well served with shops, bars and so on. The abbey is worth stopping to see. We received a warm welcome, speedy check in and helpful advice. The room was smallish but very clean, quite well equipped and we had a terrific view of the gardens and the abbey. On top of this the restaurant serves excellent food. A small menu but well cooked and presented. The staff were very helpful in choosing appropriate wine to go with the food. This is a gem of a place. If you are in the area and are seeking a place to stay we highly recommend Auberge de l'Abbaye
Verified traveler (10/5): - Final night of our holiday. Beautiful building sympathetically restored and very comfortable. Staff friendly and efficient. Despite it being Sunday night with the restaurant closed, we had the best meal of the holiday in the bar - delicious, creative cuisine. Will definitely return.
